She has "saved" several items of mine - a vest needing a new zipper, purse that needed stitched up etc. She is a skilled seamstress and takes pride in her work - Her charges for repairs, patches etc are very reasonable and her prices are competitive with anyone else in the area. But, she is always, always busy, so be patient when you take your items there for alterations - she does the job right the first time, but it may take a little while for your item(s) to get done.

The husband said he would have them ready and call me the following Tuesday. I did not hear from them, gave them a couple of extra days, still nothing. I called got no answer then drove to the shop only to find it locked up and no sign. I tried calling several times as I was wanting one of the vests for the DC Ride to the Wall. I left on the road trip with no response. My girlfriend finally reached them the FOLLOWING FRIDAY prior to catching a plane to meet me. Although they acknowledged getting both of our voice mails, they never offered any apology, discount, nothing. Still charged me what I considered an unreasonable amount for what work they performed. They will never get another dollar of mine. Very poor customer service.
