am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing experience with UPS regarding my lost delivery and the complete lack of care shown by customer service. My package never arrived, and when I contacted UPS, I expected at least a level of concern, accountability, and effort to resolve the issue. Instead, what I encountered was dismissiveness and indifference. I was walked through the steps providing reassurance that my lost items would be located or compensated for, I was made to feel as though my situation did matter. Later to find out that it did not. Someone falsely filled out paperwork for me to receive a refund for much less than what I paid to have my now lost item mailed. Losing a package is already frustrating, but what makes this experience worse is the way it was handled. As a customer, I rely on UPS to not only deliver items safely but also to take responsibility when something goes wrong. In my case, there was no sense of urgency, no empathy, and lastly no return phone call to explain why he chose to rip me off. read more

Beyond horrible customer service. There is a man that another worker told me is the owner, He has been rude and acted inconvenienced to help the last 2 times I was there. He is more than rude. Great, fast service! The owner saved me A LOT of money while shipping an emergency package on Saturday that needed to arrive in Los Angeles by Tuesday. The package needed up arriving Monday afternoon and I saved about half of the freight cost. Amazing and can't thank him enough! read more

This location is family owned and operated and gives great personalized service to every customer that walks in the door. They are friendly, knowledgeable and their service is over the top. It is the only UPS location I will go to. I have been to other locations in the past but none were as impressive as the Grasso Plaza location. read more

New Counter Person - Bad Experience Ive beebeen doing Amazon returns with this location for the last few years and have always had the best service. Today I took some AT&T equipment and two Amazon returns. I think a new employee was very uncooperative and disrespectful today. I had AT&T equipment delivered by mistake to my house, and it was still in the original box. She proceeded to unpack the entire thing and insist that I take all the packaging and the box with me as well as the packaging from my Amazon returns. I have never had this location, have a problem with me packing my own returns. She practically shoved the boxes at me and told me it was my problem to get rid of them because "they've got too many boxes around here". Put my items in their packaging with printed instructions and labels. The service at this location has always been exemplary and the people were very friendly. I will reconsider using this location because this new person was rude, the procedures were unusual and I walked away with an arm load of cardboard boxes, which has never happened before. I suspect they're going to repackage everything and then charge both Amazon and AT&T. this is a shame because this was my local branch. read more

Terrible customer service I have never ran into a shipping problem until I went to this UPS store.

I have been dropping off packages at this location for years and have never had one problem. They are always fast, efficient and friendly! This location is also very convenient. What makes this so easy is having an account and printing out labels from home and just walking in and dropping off. Even if there is a line, you just set your package down and leave. This was extremely useful during the holidays. You can also buy packing materials too! I appreciate the quick in and out along with friendly service! read more

I've been to this UPS store several times now. It's near one of my weekly work errands and when you need to return to Amazon you usually end up with a prepaid UPS label and have to drop it off. This place is perfect for me because I'm going right by it anyway. The employees are always friendly and offer me a drop-off receipt which I accept. I'll be back. read more

Bottom Line: Clean store, Quick Service, Good Customer Service Overview: Because of the convenient location, I use this UPS store about once every six months to return items I purchase online, which have prepaid shipping, primarily. One of the *bonus* things I did not know, and sometimes forget about, is that many UPS stores will take your styrofoam to reuse. Awesome! This UPS store took my styrofoam that was included with a television set I had recently purchased. Store: The store is quite clean. A little on the small size, but I think more than adequate for the services they offer. The person I mainly interact with at the store is a gentleman that I believe is the owner. He has always been fairly pleasant. I must admit, I get a sense that shipping prepaid packages is not really valued, and so getting "moved along" through the process is paramount. read more

If you really want to meet mean people, you should visit this UPS Store. I think in their interview process they look for only one quality in their employee i.e rudeness. The owner, the staff everyone is so mean and hostile. I just asked to see if they pasted the return label correctly or not and the lady at the counter got all ballistic on me saying' you should have better pasted it on your own'. Gee if I am paying for the service I sure would want to make sure that things are done properly. P.S. Always bring sealed boxes because you will not want to be charged 75cents extra for every box that they seal(this store's policy) and better not ask why they do so because the owner will jump in and get all angry and hostile towards you. The owner Dennis is extremely unpleasant. If you can use another store I would suggest it. We just dropped off a package and when we asked for a receipt he asked if we really needed it. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't ask if I didn't need it. Geez This was not the first time but it will probably be last. Will not answer the phone. Impossible to talk a real person when the automated machine cannot answer your question. When they do pick up the phone, they just have it on mute until you finally hang up. Unless you wait patiently like I did several times, then they just hang up on you :) read more

My shipping experience at this location was fine. I had a return code from Amazon, and the guy in charge (I'm sort of assuming this) promptly scanned the code and in seconds he produced a shipping label and sent my package on its way. He offered me my receipt which has tracking info and such on it. I'll definitely use this location again. read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION!!! Truly, if you want to meet MEAN people, visit this store. Old Navy offers the option to have packages delivered to a "UPS Access Point". So I chose this location bc it is down the street from my house. After I walked in and told them why I was there, I was reminded why I avoid this business. The man wearing the name tag bearing the title "owner" explained that I should not have packages delivered to their store bc it would be extremely inconvenient for them to house all those packages. They said that if I have more packages delivered that they will charge me a service fee. I explained that Old Navy offers shipping to their store and that they are telling the wrong person. They argued that I must be mistaken. I've been to this store 2x in the 10+ years living in the neighborhood and both times have encountered this unbridled anger. Like I'm trying to take advantage of them when I'm just using services that have been offered. My first (and what should have been my last) visit many years ago was with the female owner who wanted to charge me $1 to tape the box containing my Amazon return. Are they hurting that bad they can't afford 1 foot of tape as part of their agreement with Amazon to be a return delivery point? Clearly, good customer service is not part of the training for this single franchise owned location. I went in to ship a package to my friend for his birthday. I was cutting it close trying to send it across the country only a few days before, but it was importan that it arrived on time. The gentleman at the counter was incredibly helpful in walking me through my shipping options and he assured me that my package would arrive safely and on time. My bank can't provide a notary on property so they recommend I visit Dennis at the UPS Store. I'm not hard to please and I was excited to know that there was an individual in the area that could provide this service. Upon arrival there were two individuals in front of of me and the first was being checked out. As my wife and I were waiting, another four walked in. It probably took the two in front of us to get checked out within 10 minutes. But as the individual in front of us was finishing up with Dennis, he said, "You here for the notary?" My wife and I nodded. He continued, "I'll need you folks to stand over here." We complied. "You'll have to wait there until I can clear out the rest of the customers." It took me a second for that to settle in... I did the math, and we left. Come to find out later, he wasn't exceptionally cordial to my wife on the phone either. No matter if my notary is cheaper than the packages you're sending out, Dennis; time is important to me, too. Remember that next time someone else comes in, because it won't be me. read more

Mixed bag I used to use this UPS store all of the time. Decent hours, clean, easy in and out for the most part. Parking is a breeze. The last two visits have been less than pleasant. I experienced extreme rudeness, in particular when I went in for a notary, which I paid for - per page/signature. It was at least $20. Having been a customer over the years, I was surprised. The man had a most unpleasant demeanor, and appeared very unhappy to provide the service. This was a legal document that was extremely important and I wanted to make sure it was signed properly. I could not wait to hightail it out of there. Maybe he was having a bad day. For convenience, I may use it for dropping off packages that are prepared ahead of time (like Amazon returns), but I can't say I would recommend it if you have other options. Too bad - this biz never caused me to trip the light fantastic, but at least they were generally polite and efficient in the past. read more

The man that is the owner was extraordinarily rude and nasty not only to my friend and I but to the people who were being waited on when we arrived. After this incident my friend suggested to me to use the UPS Store in CWE and I did..The people there were very professional and nice. AVOID the UPS Store Grasso Plaza you'll be happy that you did. Their sign states that their print services include posters, so decided to try this shop out for my photo samples that I'd had printed at their nearest competitor with excellent results. UPS pricing fits my current budget, so decided to switch. I asked for one copy of 15 photo samples that were printed on one of their color copiers that apparently isn't serviced on a regular basis as there were streak lines across the top of the majority of my images. When I pointed this out to Dennis, the owner, he got indignant with me and chided me for asking for 15 copies. There are other shipping businesses that provide the same kind of print services that UPS banner signs state that the company offers. And I never had any problems with the print quality prior to using this UPS store. And the colors always looked exactly the way that they appeared on my screen. I wouldn't give this store even one star if it weren't for the fact that Yelp requires it. read more
