Today I went in during their 'walk in' hours and was informed that they were booked the rest of the day. I was the ONLY person in there. I had all my documentation on hand, filled out and just waiting to be signed. The 'passport agent' on duty told me they were booked and she could not assist. When there were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE FACILITY! I addressed the sign on the wall which showed the times for walk in appointments. This government employee would not budge. In the time she was arguing with me, my passport submission could have been completed. This facility does not provide service, they cultivate laziness and seem to relish in it. Avoid this hell-hole at all costs.

The first time a human answered the phone, she didn't ask me what I needed and put me on hold for close to 30 minutes. I called again, was put on hold again, then hung up on. Three more times like this -- answer, then mysteriously the call is dropped. I call again -- she puts me "on hold," but doesn't realize she hasn't transferred me to the "hold music" and I can hear her shooting the breeze with her coworkers. Not talking about an urgent or professional matter. Just chatting. This goes on for 15 minutes. I hang up and call once more. Now, I work in service and have dealt with my share of jerks and Karens, so I hate to get angry at anyone working a retail/service job. I tell her how many minutes I've been on hold and that I could hear her whole last conversation with her coworkers. She argues with me that she's the only one working the phones today. I ask if I'm going to get some actual help now. She says, "Yes, and you're gonna go on hold." Another 10 minutes. She answers, actually looks up the tracking of one of my packages (this situation was beyond what the website tracking could tell me) and tells me the whereabouts. I ask her to look up the second and last package and start to read the tracking number to her. She puts me on hold again and we are now approaching 30 minutes again. She told me she was the only one working the phones today, and I know how much working understaffed sucks, but this was beyond ridiculous. Either hire this woman some help, or a manager needs to address this completely unprofessional behavior with her.

I've never had such a good experience at USPS before today. I was headed home and went to go use…read moretheir self serve lobby, which runs 24/7. There's no one inside, but you can usually walk in and put your package in a mailbox. This location closed at 1:30 today and I was walking in at about 6pm, yet there was a postal woman working hard cleaning and scrubbing the windows and interior. She was so kind to me and said I could just set it on top of the desk because it was much too big to fit in the mailboxes -- even though the post office was 5 hours past closing. She then went behind the desk and scanned the item for me and put it back in the bigger bins. I thought this was a really kind gesture, because some post offices aren't even unlocked past their closing hours -- yet this woman took a decent bit of time out of her day to help me. I will be back if possible!!

I sat the package down on the designated area for these items and nobody was around the front area, but I could hear talking. I waited a minute or two and then I coughed a little haha. The worker said, "I'll be right out!" and they came out pretty quickly. They were friendly and helped me with my stamps. I got the fun SpongeBob ones for a little over $12, which wasn't bad at all. I did notice they were wearing an AirPod, but that didn't distract them from helping me out, so what do I care? Hopefully, they're all improving and growing from previous experiences! Thanks!

The woman last time I was there got annoyed that I was there at 4:30 when they close at 5 and she was rushing me and the person behind and in front of me because she wanted to close early. You shouldn't be able to close early since 5 are your closing hours, plus it's when a lot of people can go during the week after typical working hours.
