It's such a small thing, but it makes a huge difference. It's rare to walk into any store, let alone a busy shipping and printing spot, and feel like the staff genuinely cares. Here, you're not just another package in the pile -- you're a neighbor they know by name. In a world where customer service often feels rushed or impersonal, this place stands out. Friendly, professional, and just genuinely good people. I can't say enough about how great it feels to support a local business where the staff actually cares about their customers.

Service was terrible; it was based on some ridiculous corporate policy…read more I needed to ship a package to Vietnam. The recommended approach is to use a Vietnam shipping service out of California for the second leg, and to use a service like UPS to get it there. I needed to know the package dimensions and weight to complete all of the information on the site, so I went to UPS to buy a box and get the contents weighed. The woman at UPS refused to sell me the box or weigh the contents unless I was prepared to ship at that moment. I explained the two step process, but she still refused to take two seconds and weigh it. I went to FedEx who was happy to help. I will be using FedEx from now on, and will be sure to tell everyone about the terrible customer service policy at UPS.

I'm…read morenot sure who is to blame, FedEx or Hyatt, but they do not make you aware of this when using their services. My box cost $40 to ship, and I was charged $60 (50% fee?!). They give you a grand total and try to slip it quietly by. If I weren't on a tight schedule, I would have gone elsewhere, but I suppose that's what this fee is supposed to take advantage of, right? I would also assume this is one of those deals where anything you get shipped to them for pickup to the hotel is held at ransom for a handling fee, as this is technically labeled the "fedex 'business center'." Awful way to take advantage of travelers.

Is this USPS in a good part of town? Not really, but it's still safe…read more Is this USPS in a newer facility? No, it could use an update. It's a very old building, but it was clean and well kept. I've recently moved back to STL and for my new zip code, this is my post office. My first visit was to confirm my, COA (Change of Address). It's not as easy as it use to be. Back in the day, you went to your PO and filled out a card and you were done. Now you fill out the card, get a letter from the USPS telling you to go to a website and answer questions. Once you do that, you're still not done. You'll get another letter telling you to take a photo idea to a qualifying PO to "confirm" your ID. The young lady at my new PO was personable and professional. She made the confirmation of my COA, simple and easy. I'll only need to return for the purchasing of stamps or to ship a package and when it's time, I wont mind coming to this PO.

Yes, the #1 staple of a post office- maybe they'll have some, maybe they won't. Employees aren't quite as annoyed to have customers as a lot of South City businesses, but they're not really thrilled to help you, either. The bullet proof glass is very warm and welcoming. It's alright if you really need to mail something, but again, you're gambling with any city post office getting your mail to where it needs to go. If there's a county post office on your way to anywhere else, I recommend doing your postal business there instead.
