His shop is filled with lots of spare parts for the popular r/c brands (traxxas, hpi) along with a few dozen of rtr's and kits. He may not have the vast selection some of the other hobby shops in Mississauga have, as his shop isn't the largest, but he will order anything in for you and actually call you to let you know when it has arrived. His prices are in line with everyone else too. If you're in the area and run r/c cars or trucks, Galaxy should be your LHS.

My experience with BBWCT is purely via online purchases. Some were made directly through their…read morewebsite and others were done via the Shop app. For in stock products they always shipped promptly. I live in Ottawa and some orders arrived at my door the same week that I ordered them. For pre order products, while it was disappointing to have to wait a few weeks (or more), their text help line was or is always good at providing updates. I had to make a manufacturer warranty claim (through Horizin Hobbies) and BBWCT was very helpful to walk me through the process...they even responded late at night to a few of my email inquiries. I've read some of the negative reviews, and while I understand some of the criticisms, the complaints are not fault of the store or due to any wrong doing or 'scamming' by the owner employees. The store policies are lengthy, but none are hidden and all are clearly stated. Ottawa has a Great Hobbies brick and mortar location, and they are always my first choice, but when it comes to online orders BBWCT and GH are my go to options. Prices at both stores are very competitive, sometimes GH has the better price and sometimes BBWCT has the better price.

Do you need decals for whatever reason? They have a big free bin near the front. Do you need cement? What types? There are so many! And, if you don't know, the guys who work there do, and they will make sure you walk away with what you need. If you've been thinking about giving models a go, or are just looking for a place that has shelves lined with them, this is where you want to go. It's hard to believe that a brick and mortar like this place still exists, but it's wonderful that it does!
