Twisted Pickle is one of my favorite sandwich, sub and salad places in the whole area. They reopen today in the new location which is indicated on this site. 10/12/2020. I have had most of their subs some of their sandwiches and some salads that were all great. I had photos on the last site that disappeared after the fire took place. I will bring more photos back. Friendly folks that work here and great food. The only reason I don't give five stars is because I wish they had indoor and or outdoor seating to eat there. I'll be back soon

I'm from Chicago so I'm all about food and finding a good deli. Thanks to Jim B. The Twisted Pickle is that deli! The staff are terrific and though they were crazy busy and short staffed they were cheerful and professional and the hot pastrami sandwich was just like being back in Chicago or NY. Thank Jim!

Nice sandwich shop in the Vero Beach area. Fresh ingredients and creative sandwich options. They do have a nice veggie sandwich for all the vegetarians out there (I liked it). My husband is obsessed with the rueben (loves adding sauerkraut and brown mustard). They aren't quick so budget a little waiting time but I think it's because they put a lot of care into their creations. Oh - if you're a pickle lover, they do make their own pickles (my husband recommends them). Easy parking as well right out front (never been full). Enjoy!

Twisted Pickle is the absolute best! I am so obsessed with this place that I make my boyfriend bring me sandwiches whenever he comes to visit me in Chicago. My absolute favorite is the Mamma Mia. It's a loaded sandwich with meats, cheeses, and a plethora of condiments. The owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating - They make me a "deconstructed sandwich" with all the ingredients in a to go box and the sauces all packaged in TSA friendly containers so that the sandwich doesn't get soggy on its flight over to me. Truly amazing service! I can't wait to eat one in person again!!

Food was great. No place to eat inside. Signs even say do not eat here go outside. Over all great sandwiches. Plan to vary out though.

The food quality here is always been great. I find on the menu they have these things called rolls. I ordered one thinking I'd get some tostitos pizza roll looking things that were homemade. What arrived it was a much better surprise and delight. it arrives and was a very fair size very filling. I was also surprised that it looked almost like a stromboli. Similar concepts for totally different. Service here has always been great. If you call ahead and order it's usually ready by the time you arrive. Even if you don't call ahead and order the order still comes out in a very timely fashion. The staff here is always been nice and friendly I'm happy to engage in a casual conversation about pizza and other Italian food related chit chat. They have a fairly good selection of bottled beer and bottled organic sodas as well as a fountain drink machine. My only small complaint would've be at their fountain drink machine does not have dew of the mountain on tap. It's a little odd because it's a Pepsi fountain drink machine but I'm sure the reason mountain dew is it on tap has a lot to do with health and personal choices having said that it is a Pepsi machine so they still have Pepsi.

It set a pretty high bar for us, so we weren't sure we'd find anything comparable in our new area. Then we came across Nini's Cuban Cuisine in their new Sebastian location, just a short and easy ride from our home in Vero Beach, and what a great surprise it turned out to be. We stopped in for an early lunch and started with a cafe con leche that was exactly what we'd been craving. Smooth, rich, and comforting. We added an order of maraquitas, and the onion and garlic dipping sauce instantly won us over. It's the kind of simple, perfect flavor that makes you pause for a second and savor the moment. For our entree, we shared the Pan con Bistec with black beans. Splitting it was the right call because the portions are generous. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, the kind of food that feels like it came out of someone's kitchen rather than a restaurant line. If you leave hungry, that's on you. The cafe itself is small, charming, and welcoming. The staff matches the atmosphere with warm, friendly service that makes you feel like you've been coming there for years. There's a lot more on the menu that we're looking forward to trying, and it's nice to finally have a Cuban spot nearby that scratches the itch we've had since moving south. ¡Nos gusta mucho! Sebastian just gained a new favorite for us.

The view is spectacular, we sat outside. The service was really good, even though they were short-handed the night we were there. The servers were really hopping and did a great job keeping everybody's glasses full and got everybody their food quickly. All the food we had was perfectly cooked and perfectly tasty. We had some shrimp and I think what they call their seafood snack. It was basically a bowl with scallops, shrimp, crab, potatoes and corn na deliciously busy basting sauce. It was absolutely delicious. I'm sorry I didn't get any more photos to add to this.

I had the crab cake dinner which I felt was a little more bready than I would have hoped. I also enjoyed the fish dip. It is served with crackers which were all broken but the dip was good on its own. The food is a five star. The drop in stars comes from the service and atmosphere. The service was just barely present. She was slow and probably just spread too thin. The bigger issue was the music. When we sat it was at a good level. The DJ kept turning it up throughout the evening. By the time we left it felt like we were in a club. It was not even good club music. The music was 90s soul music. I love the music but would have preferred that as a background music. Crab stop is worth a trip, but I think I was just there on a bad night. I don't come enough to this area so will probably not return to here. I do encourage everyone to try this place, just maybe more of a lunch place.

It's an unassuming, small, restaurant that is easy to keep driving by, but it has some of the best food we've eaten here. Your best plan is to arrive for opening at 5pm unless you want to wait to be seated - it fills up quickly after the doors open. Parking is ample for the size of the establishment, and the dress code is casual. The duck wings were wonderful. Everything you could want with crispy skin, plenty of meat, and a sticky sauce that is flavorful and not too spicy. The shrimp and grits are the best I have ever eaten, and I've been to many of the landmark restaurants in New Orleans. The spice level is really on point - warming, but not too hot - with plenty of shrimp and sausage. Grits perfectly prepared, and the whole dish was swimming in delicious broth. Simply perfect. Their tuna tacos were also delicious with a generous amount of sushi-grade tuna perfectly seared. My only complaint is that the meal we enjoyed was so delicious, it's going to be difficult not to order the same meal over, and over, which would be a shame because everything we saw coming out of this power-house kitchen looked amazing.

We arrived roughly 30 minutes after they opened. When we came inside, the woman sitting behind the host podium didn't acknowledge us at all. She simply said there were no more times available. After driving an hour to get there, I asked if she might have any suggestions for another place nearby where we could have a nice meal. Her response was just "no." The whole interaction was incredibly odd and unwelcoming. After making the trip specifically to come here, it was frustrating to be dismissed so quickly with no effort to help. Based on this experience, I won't be attempting another visit. ***it has since become a running joke between us whenever a situation makes no sense, we just say, "Someone must have stormed the castle."
