The cups are so large and the drinks are solid! Didn't get a chance to try their food but if I'm ever back in the area, would love to. They have an outdoor patio area that is dog friendly. The waterside view is beautiful as well, perfect spot to gather with friends and family.

Came in here on a cold raw after snow storm afternoon with my wife. Had a cafe au lait. It's coffee with steamed milk. Nicely done. Very frothy milk.

The perfect little coffee/breakfast spot with an incredible view and wonderful vibe. The coffee was awesome and they also sell all different brands of coffee beans that you purchase. The sandwich that I got was one of a kind and I've never seen it anywhere else, not to mention it was delicious. It was called The Beehive: sesame bagel with onion and chive cream cheese with bacon and hot honey. The employees were all super nice and the whole place had a great feel! If you're ever passing through narrowsburg I would definitely recommend stopping by for some breakfast or a coffee

I enjoy it here but I will say their coffee is quite weak in taste...I'm not a heavy coffee drinker so this was the first time I tried it and I'm not sure what type of beans they use, it's not what I'm used to. Caffeines still there tho. The cream was concerning since it was chunky...although it tasted and smelt fine. Other than that there is wonderful food and the overall vibe inside and on the patio are really nice. They have cute & convenient snacks. Music is always good also! The staff are nice as well :)

Stopped by The Tusten Cup for breakfast since we were staying at the Blue Fox Motel and it was suggested to us! I really loved the herb cream cheese I had on my everything bagel, and my fiancé enjoyed his truffle shuffle sandwich. Even though it was a rainy day, we enjoyed sitting by the window for the view of the Delaware River. Our food came out quickly, and my fiancé really liked the cortado he had too. Such a nice local spot!

So glad that I stopped here during my recent trip to upstate NY. Big windows overlook the river, and there is plenty of seating. Their specialty grilled sandwiches were amazing! We had the Honey Bear (best sandwich I've ever had) and also the Swiss/cheddar grilled cheese. Kind service and overall a really cute place! A faster, more casual option than other breakfast places in the area. We'll be back just for these sandwiches!

Merchandise sold towards the front of the cafe. Some local artisans sell their items here. Love the originality!

I've been to this cafe several times! I am obsessed with their pb and j sandwich! I love the homemade taste of peanut butter, the fresh fruit jelly (not too sweet) and fresh baked bread. Their bagels are delicious and we love that they carry fresh fruit. The coffee and chai are a must! There isn't anything that we ordered, that we didn't like. They have seating inside and outside of the cafe. There are beautiful views of the Delaware river and Narrowsburg bridge from their outdoor seating area. You can also see views of the river and bridge from the windows if seated inside. Place your order and they will call your name for pick-up at the counter when it is ready. The place is clean and staff is friendly.

Tusten Cup is a neat coffee shop on the Delaware with a great selection of hot food and packaged snacks. As of late April, they have indoor and outdoor seating (the stools on the river deck are probably where you want to be). While I didn't actually try the coffee, I'm giving them 5 stars for the Sasquatch sandwich alone. Will be back for the coffee and more soon!

Adorable, clean, and with so many options. You can get breakfast and lunch here, along with traditional coffee drinks. The chai latte (with almond milk) was delicious, perfect flavors and not too sweet. Ample seating with nice views of the street.

I can tell you that not one of their creations has been less than amazing! Everything is plant based, organic, fresh, and delicious. They make a number of signature sandwiches - all served on savory waffles (OMG the waffles!), made with careful attention to the combination of flavors and textures. This food is ART, people! The "What's Up Doc?" sandwich is their take on the classic cream cheese and lox bagel sandwich. Served on an everything waffle (like an everything bagel, except a waffle!) with their handmade cashew cream cheese (to die for!) and smoked carrot lox - carrots that are superbly flavored, marinated in special seasonings that actually capture the flavor profile of lox! Genius! Then there's the "3500 Club" - an eggless egg salad (made from tofu) on a scrumptious buckwheat caraway waffle. It's hands down the best vegan egg salad I've ever tasted. It's topped with their homemade pickled red onions, tomato and spring greens. Basically the perfect picnic sandwich! The third sandwich option is "Peas and Love" - a chickpea based picnic salad made in the style of classic tuna salad. This is served on a lemon dill cornbread waffle. The blend of flavors is heavenly. It hits all the right notes you'd expect from the classic it's inspired by, with a novel twist thanks to the herby, savory cornbread waffle. A healthy and delicious way to get your protein! Now let's talk about their handcrafted spreadable cheeses! I can't even describe how amazing these sunflower and cashew based cheeses are. I buy a container or two and eat them all week long for lunches and easy dinners. Paired with their artisanal crackers (which are amaaazing!) it's the perfect protein-filled snack. They make a number of flavors, like roasted red pepper and lemon rosemary. All gluten free by the way. I like to spread them on all kinds of sandwiches, make toasted cheese sammies with them...brilliant!! To accompany all this deliciousness they serve rosemary infused hand squeezed lemonade! It's basically summer in a cup. Best lemonade I've ever had. Warning - it is addictive!! Wow, I can't believe how much I wrote here. It's just so exciting to find a 100% vegan, plant based, organic food vendor at a farmer's market - and then for it to be this flippin' good - it's a veg foodie's dream come true!! AND the owners are the sweetest, coolest people - much love!! I also should mention that all their packaging is environmentally responsible or reusable. If you're in the Narrowsburg, NY area and fancy a fabulous picnic curated by two cool-as-hell NYC transplants with vegan magical powers - stop by Sprouted Root Kitchen!!!! For me, they are best eaten with limited toppings and no sauce. I'm not a huge fan of their burger sauce but others seem to like it but if you leave the sauce you get the full flavor of the burger and seasoning. I recently had to make a visit with a group to that place where there are nearly half a dozen guys that make burgers and as a test, I tried eating it the same way I'd eat it at here and discovered there was absolutely NO flavor. The best way to find out if a place makes good burgers is to eat it plain with little to nothing on it because if they are covering it all up with add-ons, they don't have a good burger, they just have cooked meat. TKC doesn't need the sauce but it's there if you want it. Better yet, they are reasonably priced and less expensive than any other burger joint in the area. (We are talking GOOD burgers here, not the fast food chains but even then...still probably cheaper.) Second, they have a fantastic hot honey chicken sandwich that has a lot of chicken on it. It is fried perfectly and the hot honey adds just the right touch of sweet and spicy to give it a wonderful flavor. Finally, sides of onion rings and fries are all done perfectly. I think personally the onion rings have the WIN here but either way you can't go wrong. Oh, and they have ice cream! That isn't the highlight for me, but they have a decent selection of flavors and are reasonably priced. My choice is the non-dairy cookie dough and peanut butter (I think I have the flavor right) and it tastes great. This place seems to always be busy and the owner is always cheerful and friendly. Do yourself a favor and make a visit and in the process support a wonderful local business! You won't regret it. P.S. Adding this - I've taken multiple people here over the past few months and not had a single person disagree with me on how great this place is. So, while the review is mine, I'm quite certain my family and friends would give the exact same 5-star review here.

New Yorkers love their delis, and if just half of them are like this one, I can see why. JJ Delicatessen has an excellent assortment of meats, cheeses and dried goods, many from European countries like Germany and Poland. My girlfriend and I ordered sandwiches on a Saturday morning. We had to wait a little over twenty minutes, and the woman advised that next time we call our orders in ahead of time because the hot sandwiches take awhile. So that's your tip for the day. But they were worth waiting for. Fairly priced, excellent quality, and came with a few sides. I got the Polish sandwich special and my girlfriend got the Mediterranean sandwich special. It seems like this is something of an institution and even for first-timers like us, it's not hard to see why. It's a European-leaning local deli that is clean, well stocked with interesting goodies, and that's is a cozy dining room in the front end of the shop. The two ladies we interacted with were fairly friendly and helpful, and after an agonising few minutes looking at the menu, we decided on the Polish and Italian sandwiches (vs heroes, which are bigger, cost a bit more, and are served on a roll). What I liked was the fresh tasting pickle that comes with the sandwich. In fact, the pickle may have been my favourite thing, period. The macaroni salad and potato salad were enjoyable if not particularly memorable. Now, the sandwiches. They look great, delicious even. We could tell they were made with care. From the first bite though, so I could think was, why's this SO salty? To this day, we're not sure what the culprit(s) were. Without the saltiness, I think they could have been delicious sandwiches. Perhaps this is how the locals like it. Maybe this is some sort of traditional way to prepare these sandwiches. All I know is that it traumatised my taste buds so much that I didn't have an appetite for another meal for the rest of the day. And of course I was quite thirsty for a few hours afterwards. I hope they keep improving and stay open for many more years.
