Here's what you need to know about Jason: His work on the trees on your property not only will look fantastic, but because he is an arborist and he really cares about trees and loves what he does, his work will ADD TO THE VALUE OF YOUR PROPERTY. I have heard Jason say many times, "Even if this were not my chosen field of business, I would be working on trees just because I love it." He really does care about how his work impacts the health and beauty of the tree, and because he is an arborist, or "tree scientist," he knows exactly what to do in cutting, pruning, watering, planting, thinning and more. Ask Jason about the proper method of root-crown excavation, or about the science of how air should flow through trees to help reduce tree stress. See? He really treats it as a SCIENCE and he combines that for his LOVE of trees, so the customer gets an amazing benefit. Jason did an amazing job on the oaks and cedars on our property. While many of our neighbors had major tree damage during the recent wind storm, Jason properly trimmed our trees to be able to weather the storm. Also, he's extremely honest and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend him. read more

We have used The Tree Man twice in the last year. In December 2017 we had Jason and his crew come out to remove a large branch that had broken off one of our trees. The branch was very big and very high. They removed that branch and trimmed the rest of our trees. In December 2018 we noticed a limb on a tree was being stripped of its bark. We called Jason again. He fit an evaluation into his holiday schedule. He recognized what disease the tree had immediately. I also had him look at other oaks in my yard that I was concerned about. He said those trees were okay, but needed to be fertilized. He and his crew came out 2 days later and removed the dying limb and another dead tree. They also cleaned up the crepe myrtles in our yard whose limbs had grown into our cable wires. They also fertilized all the oaks in our yard with compost. They completed the job within an hour and cleaned up the yard very nicely. I will be calling Jason again the next time I need help with my trees. read more

We did a lot of research into good tree trimmers and found Jason and his team. He not only gave us the most reasonable estimate but also seemed to be the most knowledgeable about trees. He's a certified arborist, and we could see he genuinely cared about trees and how they naturally grow and thrive. He and his team did such a good job that we hired them again this year and recommended them to a family member. They're pleasant to set up appointments with and come when they say they're coming. They finished our yard just a few hours ago, and our trees and yard look great. The team that came out was courteous, professional, and responsive. (Also, our kids enjoyed watching them through the windows as they climbed and maneuvered their way through our many trees.) We plan to call The Tree Man when we need work on our trees again. We think their prices are great and their work even better. read more

We needed a big limb over our roof cut from our cottonwood and some oak limbs cut back from our roof. I saw the great reviews on yelp and called the tree man. Jason came out and discussed with me exactly what I wanted and gave me his recommendations and what options I had when deciding how much to cut back. I felt much more comfortable having an arborist help guide me how to cut these trees. Two days later his team showed up and did a beautiful job. They were so careful to seal all of the cuts on the oaks so we don't get oak wilt. They made sure I was happy with the job before they left. They also worked super fast and were done in an hour. I am so happy to not have to worry about these trees, and I will definitely call The Tree Man when I need my trees cut again. And the price was so reasonable that I didn't feel the need to go with the guy with a chainsaw from Craigslist. read more

I had a Bradford Pear kick the bucket in my backyard. Funny thing is, Jason had been to my house for other tree work and had recommended that I have the tree trimmed way down, but I failed to act on his advice. About a month later, sure enough, the tree split down the middle from the weight of the lopsided canopy and fell over. I called Jason and told him my sob story about the tree falling on my flowers and he came over the next day and chopped up the tree and hauled it away, being very mindful not to tramp on my flower garden that the tree fell into. I'm happy to say that my flowering bushes bounced back and survived the crash landing of the tree. Jason was very professional and courteous and never said, "I told you so." LOL I highly recommend Jason and his crew. And if he gives you advice...please take it! This guy knows what he's talking about! read more

Yesterday, we saw Jason's crew working on live oaks up the street -- removing Ball Moss and pruning. Walked up and tree looked great, plus yard was being cleaned up completely for haul off and disposal. He had a good sized crew and all looked as tidy as the tree and yard. He came over and gave us a quote -- reasonable! He arrived at 8:30 this morning and by 10:30 had finished. The tree looks so much better. It actually looks like people who care live here. The moss is gone as are dead branches, roof touchers and stray limblets. The yard is totally cleared. Jason likes to be paid at completion of job so he can move on. So be prepared! We had the check written except for payee. Highly recommend -- good work, good people. They got the work done and we were left with clean premises and a neat tree! Call The Tree Man! (Thanks Jason) read more

I had a big job for Jason - several mature trees to be removed, lots of large branches to be trimmed, many limbs overhanging the roof and wires, etc. Jason came out to give an estimate. He spend a good 40 minutes going around my property (small, but lots of trees), listening to my ideas and and explaining his recommendations. I was convinced that he loves both the trees and his job and accepted his bid. He did not disappoint. He and his fine crew were skillful and fast. Jason worked hard along side his crew and checked with me frequently to insure the all was going as planned. Clean up was efficient and complete. When I called the next day about a limb that I had not noticed needing some extra attention he came back and took care of it promptly. I recommend him highly. read more

My name is Dana & I had several arborists come to my house trying to save a huge, beautiful tree in my front yard. Sadly, I was told it was deceased and need to be taken down because it was a risk of falling. Of all the arborists, he came in with a lowest bid and was able to do the job the very next day. I was extrememly pleased with the care he and his crew took to be sure there was no damage to my house and my yard. Not only did they do a fantastic job of removing the tree, but because it was a breezy day there was saw dust everywhere and they cleaned it up from my front porch, yard, driveway, sidewalks and even the street. I was amazed. I had several neighbors wanting his information after he and his crew left. I was sad to see my tree gone, but they did a caring job. read more

Not only does Jason love the trees and what he does, he's GOOOOD! We live on a quarter acre of land with some very large live oaks that haven't been trimmed in way too long. When he came over to give the free estimate it was clear to us he knows what he's doing and he enjoys it. The amount of work they got done in a single day seemed unimaginable. They removed a large ligustrum that had cleverly weaved itself around one of our precious live oaks in addition to removing loads upon loads of deadwood from our oaks. Remarkably not a single branch was left behind and both the roof and driveway were left spotless. Our trees look healthier and happier than ever! Save yourself some time and call Jason, no need to get other bids. read more

Jason and his crew did a wonderful job pruning/trimming all the trees on my large property. It was expensive but not when you consider there were 23 trees in all, 19 of which are live oaks. As other reviewers have mentioned Jason's expertise as a certified arborist was the key reason I hired his company along with his easy manner communicating. He was very patient with all my questions and explained the preocedures they were used to insure the health of the trees. The crew arrived on time and did outstanding work, and cleaned up the yard at the end of each day. The trees look fantastic! Jason, The Tree Man will be my tree man in the years to come. I highly recommend him. You will not be sorry. read more

Fantastic people to work with. We got a prompt call to schedule a meeting for an estimate and agreed to trim all three of our very tall American Elm trees. We had a large limb that had come down in the neighbor's yard and this was cut and cleared out as well. We really appreciate setting up a time when I could be there to assure my elderly parents that everything was all right. All they had to do was write the check, which was very fair and well worth the work done. We're very happy with the excellent communication, scheduling and quality of work. We highly recommend Jason, The Tree Man, and his crew! Kevin P. read more

After having Jason out for Root Excavation in 2012, I just had him out to trim trees, bushes, etc. and get what had become a jungle in our backyard back to the beautiful yard it had been. AND HE DID JUST THAT. With the help of his assistant, an afternoon of work and we had a lovely yard again. He understands what needs to be done for both beauty and preserving our wonderful trees, including some baby red oaks that must have been started by squirrels. And, with all the trimming, etc. the yard was left pristine. We will have him back regularly and I definitely recommend him to others. read more

I had a very clear idea of what I wanted to have done with my 2 large oaks and several medium sized ones and they did exactly that. Jason is a nice man with good knowledge and a great level of honesty who wants to do the right thing. His communication is good and he gave me options for checking the work as they went to make sure it was what I wanted. He also made it very clear that if I felt like they missed something to call them up and they would come back and take care of it. He went out of his way to make me happy and I am! read more

I was very impressed. The other companies showed up and ran off leaving me with an estimate that wasn't very clear about what was to be done. Jason was very friendly and spent over an hour talking to me about my trees. He explained all of the science behind the trees and his decisions about why he would do things the way he would. His approach to what the trees needed was much less aggressive than the other arborists. Jason was honest and upfront, as well the price of his estimate was half the price of the other guys. read more

For the past 27 years, we have lived on an acre of land with plenty of trees. On many occasions, we have hired tree companies to cut and remove trees. Our latest tree problem was handled by The Tree Man, and we can honestly say that Jason and his crew were the most professional and most reliable of all the tree services! We contacted Jason one day, and the problem was taken care of by the next day. They did a great job in cutting down a very large tree and in the cleanup too. We highly recommend The Tree Man! read more

My experience with Jason (The Tree Man) has been fantastic. When we met him, it was clear to see that he was extremely busy. However, he arrived on time for the evaluation of the work we needed, and took the time to give a knowledgeable, informative and reasonable suggestion for what we should do with our trees. Then he returned with his crew and did a wonderful job. He is friendly, respectful and seems to genuinely care for the health and beauty of the trees. What more could you ask from an arborist? read more

Jason and his team are fantastic. The initial conversations was easy, the bid came fast and very reasonable, the follow through and work was top notch. My favorite interchange with Jason was regarding a tree I was planning on removing. HIs response was awesome, and I quote "Well, I hate talking my way out of making profits, but I am the Lorax and I speak for the trees. It's a really good Texas native, and it's beautiful specimen." Needless to say, we hired Jason and team and just pruned the tree. read more

Jason and Serenity were wonderful to work with! We unfortunately had to loose our trees due to a disease. Jason's background and in depth knowledge, makes us we feel confident that we will know what to look for with our next trees that we plant so that this does not happen again. The day of the service, the team was prompt and got straight to work. We also had some of our other trees thinned out and they look great! I would recommend the The Tree Man to anyone need a top notch Arborist. read more

We've used Jason and the Tree man twice now. First last summer when we needed some routine trimming on the trees on our house. The crew was fast, professional & our trees still look great. Second, we recently had a neighbors 40ft. tree fall onto our fence, backyard & my workshop out back. After I called, within 48 hours there was a crew on site, clearing the tree fast so we could start getting repairs done & on with our lives. We'll contine to use Tree Man for all our tree-related needs! read more
