Eduardo was at my house within a couple hours of my call to him and he and his crew had the tree cleared and cleaned up by the afternoon. This is the second time The Tree Guys have done work for me and the both experiences were smooth from start to finish. Eduardo is extremely fair and transparent in his pricing -- no surprises, no upselling, just honest work at a great value. We already had a garden plan so we wanted a reasonable and reliable landscaper to do the job. The Tree Guys were the first to respond to our call and they were here the very next morning to measure the garden and discuss the details for the estimate. (We had other landscapers make appointments, one didn't show up, another was too expensive and said that he would send his "guys' to do the job, he would not be at the site) We're extremely happy that we went with The Tree Guys. They gave us a very reasonable estimate and more importantly, the owner was on the job with the workers every day. Our garden was overrun with weeds. I wanted to clear and section off different areas so I could later plant little by little, on my own. They cut down 3 trees, got rid of the weeds, put river rock at the edges of the garden by the fence, put down weed-guard and mulch on a large area, finished off laying stone for the hammock area, made a stone herb garden and planted clumping bamboo trees. All the work was done with care and efficiently. Eduardo listened to us and worked closely with us to make sure everything was satisfactory. All the work was done in 3 days. After trying other providers without success I decided to try The Tree Guys. Eduardo was very prompt in visiting my property, evaluating the tasks and provided a quote the same day. He and his crew arrived at the agreed day and time and fulfill remarkably well the tasks that included: removing two large dead tree branches, removed several dead bushes and replaced them with new ones, trimmed the bushes around the house and thinned some of the existing trees. The work was done fast, with precision and a lot of care not to damage anything. They cleaned thoroughly and thus, overall, I am very happy with their performance. I wouldn't recommend these guys. They gave me a fast quote and what I thought was a fair price to cut back 2 ash trees on my property. I don't live on site, and what I found when I was able to personally inspect the work is that they only really cleared branches from the roof. Large and very obvious dead limbs that were hanging higher in the canopy were left. Branches encroaching on my neighbor's property ignored. They would text me pictures along the way from angles that led me to believe the work being done was to my satisfaction, but when I personally inspected the completed work, I was really disappointed. If you decide to hire these guys, make sure you are on site. read more
