While we did originally confront issues with the initial install, there were various events that resulted in what appeared as a major issue where this contractor did not follow up. I have since learned that Alexander and team never received my original feedback until I had posted my review on yelp. And within days of posting I was called and asked what happen and how they could make things right. I forwarded my original feedback along with multiple pictures and immediately was told that action would be taken to correct the issues. Then came bad weather and various other events, but I will say, they called me every few days to keep me apprised of their availability to ensure it worked for both of us. Today, I am happy to say that a crew came out and put new gates in and repaired some of the other findings. As I expected, the crew came through and did an excellent job. They made sure that I was satisfied. The Project Manager later called me and asked if it all met my satisfaction. He gave me his number and said to call him if something else came up that presented an issue. I debated on leaving the original post up or not, but I wanted to leave it as a lesson learned. Not often is it sufficient to send a text or an e-mail, it takes both parties to try various forms of communications to ensure feedback is given and received. This works both ways. I think Alexander calling today even after he knew the job was done and asking/telling me to not hesitate to reachout. This company clearly is concerned about doing a good job and maintaining an excellent reputation. I would highly recommend them. read more

Just had metal fence with puppy panel bottom installed at new house by AMG. This is a great company to work with, and last minute add ons are not a deal breaker for them. From the owner down to his workers a hard working polite and friendly people . They worked quickly putting fence up and did a fantastic job, and leaving job site clean. I am disappointed to say the least & would give them zero stars if I could. I made an appointment for today to look at the scope of my fence replacement & get an estimate. The appointment was set for 1 PM & I completely understand running late, but given this is my first interaction with this company, after 30 minutes, I texted to ask if we were still on. I did get a very quick response to my text that he (Frank) was running a bit behind schedule, but was "on way now". He never showed up nor contacted me again. A complete NO SHOW. We had contacted them first after being highly recommended by many many people in our neighborhood and they showed up the very next day to give a quote, but they didn't have a stone guy at the time so reluctantly we attempted to get quotes from 5 other fencing companies. We needed a stone wall /stucco to match the house then a wrought iron fence , a single gate and a double gate. Some other local companies came to look at the project, then didn't call back or answer our inquiries, some didn't even bother to call us back at all , after repeated calls and emails, some tried to give an outrageous quote over the phone-not even asking what style of fence or doing any measuring or seeing the project etc. I was very disappointed at the responses we got. Alex and his team were sent back to us by a neighbor when we realized they were installing their fence right next door to us and they now had a stone guy again. He contacted me , then came right over the next day and gave me a detailed quote by email. It was very fair pricing and 2 weeks later it was done. His guys did a beautiful stucco wall and wrought iron fence. They were friendly, professional , and cleaned up / hauled off the previous fencing material. I highly recommend ! read more
