But when I got to the counter, the employee told me the socks weren't part of the sale. I pointed out the sign, and instead of acknowledging the issue or offering any kind of apology, he just dismissed it and didn't seem to care at all. It felt unprofessional and honestly pretty disrespectful. I ended up pity-buying one pair instead of the two I planned on, but I'm now planning to return them. I left the store feeling misled and frustrated. If you're going in hoping for a sale, don't trust the signs without double, or triple-checking. This is fairly close to my house so I was in the area and called and they said they could probably get it done today but for sure by the next day if they got busy and had to keep it overnight.
