What a cool venue! And I can't believe I've never been here before attending my aunt and uncle's 40th wedding anniversary. The Tower Club is at the very top and gives you a panoramic view of the entire city of Oxnard including far off views of the Pacific Ocean. Wow. What a spot! I had the opportunity to help set up the venue before my family's party and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a ton of flower arrangements and decorations to put up the morning of the big event. There was a service elevator with a couple of rolling carts available to bring up all of the party favors and event supplies. We did have to use the stairs to bring up a huge balloon arch, but ran into no real issues. The place was still in disarray from an event that was held there the prior evening, but the cleaning crew made sure that entire room and bar areas were up to par before everything got started. Everyone worked very hard. They had convenient bathrooms/dressing rooms where you could get ready and do your make-up and hair with plenty of mirrors and outlets. The actual room we were in could hold around 20+ tables seating around 10 people at each, so perfect for weddings, anniversary parties and very large groups. There are smaller room options if you need space for a more intimate gathering. And they have a full service kitchen and catering staff that can accommodate and serve 200+ guests all at once. Terrible service made us wait over an hour for our food. Time here is going to be in my top ten worst ways to spend my Saturday night. Asked the server twice about the rest of our food and she told us in a nearly empty restaurant "it's so busy right now". After over an hour we asked for our bill. Dealt with our server starting untrue drama with the manager. Manager: "Did you curse at her?" She's crying in the back right now. My response: Why would I ever curse at someone over a burger. Manager when we take our bill to takeout: "Have a heart our burger guy just quit". My response: If your guy just quit you could've said something from the time he left to the moment we asked where our food was. And we could've ordered something else. If you wanna feel like your back at high school even though you're a fully grown adult, by all means eat here and waste your money. Will never come back here ever again. read more

The view was great and we attended a wedding in Dec 2018 and the reception was at the Tower Club. The steak was mushy and little bit raw but the veges was decent. The other thing that I didnt like was the ground floor help desk or security guard. They have this rude russian older lady that was so aggressive to the guests telling them not go here and not to do this. Geez thats why you are in the desk to guide them, not be rude to them. We attended a bridal expo at The Tower Club yesterday. The only negative was that it was uncomfortably hot inside, perhaps due to overcrowding. We found great vendors for exactly what we were looking for: tuxedos, cake, and officiants! The food and beverages provided by The Tower Club were very nice: a spread of veggies and dip, crostini, cheese, and fruit as well as passed ahi, chicken, and steak. We met some great vendors for our wedding and the club is beautiful with amazing views. I would feel confident booking with them for a private party. read more

We went to a Christmas party at the Tower club and it was the first time since it has transferred ownership to Wedgwood. We used to be members of the club back in the day and enjoyed the club for years. We didn't enjoy it this time. The food was sub par at best. We had a filet mignon with some kind of I think it was suppose to be a wine sauce. It tasted awful let alone looked worse. Not a very appetizing color. The lobster was soft and mealy and not very good either. I was not the only guest that thought the lobster was not very good. The mixed vegetables were undercooked beyond al dente. The dessert was some kind of chocolate mousse pie that tasted like they just took it out of a box. The best part of the meal was the coffee. The view was nice as sometimes it can get foggy. I went to a wedding here and was served a plated dinner which was cold for everyone at our table. When I mentioned t one of the servers they said they would tell someone. After 10 minutes and nobody came by I told another server and they took my plate and said they would mention it to someone. They didn't even heat my plate in the microwave or bring me another plate. I didn't eat dinner. Later the first server came out and told me they had suggested t the bride and groom that they should have served buffet style, not plated and that was why the food wasn't hot. It wasn't even warm. I told him that in my entire life I have never heard of a caterer who could not serve hot or even warm food if it was plated. If I ever get another invite to an affair at this location I will refuse the invite. read more

Fine dining in Oxnard. You go to the 22nd floor in the tallest building in the city (which isn't saying much) and the view is very nice on clear nights. And that would be the view of flat Oxnard, which is prettier when it is darker. The food is always really good and we have always had great service. But that's how it should be because it's really expensive. I chose ultra high end, because it is, for Oxnard. You have to be a member or guest of a member to eat here, I think. Luckily dad's a member. We go here on special occasions, and it is a very nice place to celebrate or just go for a really nice dinner. And it's cool to look at the building from the top of the TO grade and think, I've been in there--I've eaten there. read more

My friend's parents rented this place out a couple of years ago for my friend's 30th birthday party. From beginning to end, the whole event was a massive success. As soon as I arrived, I was led to where the dinner was going to be served and the area looked amazing. It was so well put together and fancy. The food was great. There were basically two choices- fish or steak. There was an official photographer who had a station by the entrance. He did such a great job considering he had to deal with a bunch of rowdy drunkards. The bartenders were fantastic. When we found out it was an open bar, my friends and I basically planted ourselves at the bar area. Since we were there for dinner, we were fortunate enough to watch the sunset which looked majestic from that high up. It was breathtaking. I do have to say that the staff were awesome. They went above and beyond. They treated every single one of us like family. I'm sure at some point they realized who among us were inebriated, but they were so patient with the noise level. There was one woman at the lobby who made sure those who drank got into the rented shuttles that took people home. I highly recommend this place. If you can afford it for a function, do it. I honestly can't thank Ginny enough! What a perfect human she is! My husband and I both liked her from day one! We only looked at this venue because she was so fantastic. First of all the venue is gorgeous! It's stunning with the white wainscoting and that view is spectacular! We chose the beach venue and even on a cold and windy day in JULY , it couldn't have been more perfect! We live between Vegas and LA so nobody was actually from there. People came from afar to spend this day with us in a city I'm not really familiar with but fell in love with the venue. The price was on point. She didn't try to upswell us. She only gave us more options. I up sold us myself on open bar be candy bar which we're both fantastic too! (Manybells creations did our candy bar and flowers.) We never felt rushed. I never had to actually go to a tasting or meeting. We did everything over the phone due to my hectic schedule. In fact, we booked on Christmas Eve. What a trooper Ginny was! Like I said NEVER felt rushed. She went beginning to end with us besides one meeting at the end with Angie who did an awesome job of picking up where Ginny left off. On our wedding day, Ginny lead us through everything until it was her time to go and our Chef/dinner captain took over. The food was delicious! People loved it. The cake was beautiful (a gift of taste). Our DJ Jeffrey was perfect! We had a long phone meeting with him to get things correct because we had such a unique way we were getting married. Our wedding party married us so everyone spoke and he really lead the way along with us so well. Great music and just an all around awesome dude! We had plenty of time to party. Our bartender was sweet. She was concerned about big groups taking shots but I assured her that we are not the frat boy type crowd. The alcohol choices and wine selection were quite nice. It was all very impressive for the package we received. I'm beyond thankful for this team. Everyone in the office was so much fun, happy to be at their jobs, and worked effortlessly. My family and I went with our best friends to visit. And to look into a private party function we are doing for the holidays. The view is pretty nice, event rooms are large. the lunch we had was great! Service not so....much. A older lady waited on us in the Sky Bar Maybe a manger, not certain. We all felt totally insulted. like as if we were doing her a favor by being there. Not a happy person. People really shouldn't work in hospitality If they are not going to be hospitable. We decided against having our Private function there. As for the food It was delicious. Not recommend for top star rating. read more

Ugh. Told them I had celiac and was gluten free. What they supplied to me would have been at home as a hospital meal: overcooked salmon and steamed veggies with no salt or butter. They think potatoes and butter have gluten (they don't) Truly terrible and disgusting. read more

This is where all the fancy people go in Oxnard. I for one am not fancy, but I know fancy people. I came here for a meet and greet party for prospective clients for Ameriprise. I basically party crashed, cause I don't have any finances to be invested. The view is amazing, and truly beautiful. There was a buffet taco bar, which left much to be desired. Though I don't believe that the taco bar was a true representation of what the Tower Club serves. Great place for a drink though, hope I get to come back. read more

We love The Tower Club. My husband Chris works in the bank next door to the Tower Club and it's a great place to go to get away from all the noise of the Collection. Sometimes you're just looking for a more private venue with beautiful views and great music and this place hits the spot. The food and the drinks are always perfect and the regular staff there makes it feel like a home away from home by your second visit. It's like if Cheers went classy; everyone there knows your name except your having a drink under a chandelier! My wife and I got married this weekend at the tower club. Wedgewood and their staff --Huge shout out to Angie, Jose, and Ginny--made the process seemless and unforgettable. We have zero regrets and could not have asked for a more perfect night. Angie was an angel. She worked so hard to make sure all was perfect and she did it with such ease. She was prepared for any situation and was stoic in our moments of panic (Totally no need to panic--brides are going to be brides) . She was encouraging and truly a joy to work with. Planning was extremely easy and not stressful. "Yes, we can do that" was something we heard every single time we had a request or question. Jose was truly there to make our night so effortless. He checked in with us, made sure we ate, drank, and if we needed anything at all. Our guests raved about our dinner and the bar staff as well! We just had our wedding at the Tower Club. This place has an amazing view. My husband and I were blown away with it but I would NOT recommend this venue to any other couple unless you want a basic simple cookie cutter wedding. The room is awkwardly shape since the building is circular, so think about that for seating arrangements. If you have a party of 175 plus this is not the venue for you. Your guests will end up in the dark with no light. (May have light but no one to help turn them on). The bathrooms have major plumbing issues. We arrived the day of the wedding with one bathroom out of service and men's bathroom overflowing before reception even started. Was told Mens would just be closed. Why should a bride have to worry about the restroom? The service at the bar was not great. Understaffed for a large group. Rude to guests. Definitely think about your group and if your group isn't a drinking group then no need to worry about staff ratio. The main issue is the communication of what the wedding coordinator does vs you and or the banquet captain. The coordinator they provide and you have to pay for is only there for ceremony and grand entrance . That is the only job they do. They leave right after and hand over all responsibility to the banquet captain that does nothing cause you will never be able to find them! We had no water at our head table or cocktails they said would be there. They don't keep the schedule going. Your dj needs to be really prepared to own the schedule moving forward which we didn't know about. Involve your dj immediately from day one!! Finished Food will be left at the tables, waiters done go around cleaning it up. Cake will not be passed out. Your guests have to pick it up. Service is sub par for sure. Linen will NOT be floor length unless you ask about it. Make sure you ask what they do vs don't so your 100% of all the responsibility you will have before your big day. We definitely had our own wedding planner and without that we would still be there decorating for our wedding cause they don't help at all. They do the bare minimum. As much money I put into my wedding, my guests had a great time but I am left with a nasty taste in my mouth about this venue. I would definitely tell people don't do it. My wedding was beautiful because of what my planner did not anything Wedgewood provided. read more

We had our wedding at the Tower Club earlier this year. Ginny and Angie were very helpful, every concern we had they were helpful. I bothered them with questions every other day and not once did they show they were annoyed which I am sure they were. When we first went to the Tower Club they were working on the ceremony site outside , they showed us a picture of how it would be when it was all done. when it was all done, it looked NOTHING like the photo. The photo had a huge water fountain in the middle, plants when you walk down the aisle. When we told them our concerns, they said the city didn't approve it. how are you going to show a picture of how it will be and it is nothing like it! By then it was too late to cancel and move the wedding to another venue. It is nice to have all vendors from one place, it is easier, but after comparing prices for the center pieces and flowers , they were a bit expensive. one little table cloth for our table was 15! We decided to have an open bar. The cost for the open bar is ridiculous!!!! And it was just the basic brands and no shots!! . The place was beautiful and I was there getting ready the day of ,so I was able to make sure everything was just how I wanted it to be. The girls were giving tours all day , so just to get champagne from them (asked for hours), it was 5 min before walking down the aisle. Food was great and the cake was great. The bartender/waiter were great. Ginny had said if we pay for security guard, we will have one upstairs and one downstairs. That way our guests won't be lost or locked out. Sure enough they were! No one knew where to go, one guest was locked out for 20 min! my suggestion is , get your own guard. The next day when we discussed how disappointed we were with security, they pretty much said oh well! after all the money we spent, $150.00 wasn't much for the guard but I wanted that money back. it was so disappointing. Also, around 10PM it started smelling like sewage, our guests were smelling it down the hall and bathrooms, and even an employee said when they built the 21st floor they didn't do something and that is why it is the way it is. of course the girls at the office denied it and said maybe someone threw up! Also, the elevator that morning wasn't working and when we complained all they said was we are so pissed and they will complain about this. Some of our guests had a hard time going up those stairs . Again, after all the money we spent , I was disappointed with the outcome. My friend had her wedding at another location by Wedgewood and it was great. when you first see the tower club, u fall in love because it looks so classy and the view is amazing but seriously ask all your questions and check out other places before u sign that contract!! We were not too happy about the DJ either. I am not bashing this business but I wish I knew these things. read more

I've been going to the Tower Club for over 20 years. It's the best food and the greatest service in the area. Unquestionably there is nothing else like it in the tri-counties. First class all the way, from the Owner Robert, throughout each and every one of his wonderful staff, they always make you feel welcome and provide an excellent experience. I too, looked at The Tower Club for my wedding and the woman that showed me the club was nothing but professional, helpful, and charming with a sence of humor that my my fiancee and I loved. She was part of the reason we booked our wedding, which was nothing less than flawless. Not only was the coordinator there to help through every step, the entire staff was amazing! the the food was raved about by all our friends and the venue itself was absolutely gorgeous!. My girlfriend had her baby shower there and recieved the same 5 star treatment. It's a shame that Elizabeth did not look beyond someone hooting it up on thier time off and how they perform at thier job because she missed out on a great venue with a wonderful staff. read more

Advertised as The Place to go in Ventura County (at least north of the grade) the Tower Club has the audacity to charge monthly dues while putting out fairly good food amidst uninspired decor and desultory service. Entertainment, a piano-vocalist duo, performed relentlessly and without a much needed break. Exactly what they played was unknown and largely unknowable. read more

Beautiful Spot for a party! Food usually great, sometimes with a larger crowd they might forget the dressing on a salad here and there but overall good. The bar is large and nice for cocktail hour, one complaint is the air conditioning doesn't cool it off enough., we complained all night and it never did get cool :( read more
