A super cute place! It's really not tiny! There is indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted right away when we entered. Turtles all around. They are an ocean friendly place so if you want straws you have to ask for them. We came for lunch but they were only offering brunch. So we ordered the following. The Robertico's cubanito. I enjoyed a weekend lunch at Tiny Turtle, I've been here many times and always find new things to enjoy on the menu. Today I tried out the Quinoa Bowl with the added sides of maduros and chips and salsa. The food was rich in flavor and the portion was huge! I'm glad I came with an appetite. While I came for lunch, they have fantastic brunch offerings on the weekend as well. Something to note about Tiny Turtle is that the service is great, but everyone runs on 'island time'. Don't be surprised if your waiter isn't checking in regularly. The interior has a bar and an array of booth and table seating. You can enjoy the front or back patios and the back patio is known to have live music on the weekends. Parking is a bit tricky so you might have to walk a bit if you don't snag the coveted 6 spots in the front that require parallel parking. read more

Looked at the menu on here and liked it so we went. BUT it was Sunday so they offered brunch. I love brunch; Breakfast, lunch, you decide! My son got Mac and cheese bacon pancakes, so totally a mix of both worlds (that said the maple syrup came on top, not on the side). We also got mahi mahi tacos, tripleta sandwich, and sofrito burrito. All thumbs up! The Tiny Turtle has seating out front, out back, or inside the restaurant. We took our lunch outback. The patio was cool (temperate) with games and places for photos. They also had an island style band playing live music. The service was quick and the style seems like any staff helps all tables. I personally like this communal care as you don't have to wait for one person to bring you something. So another big thumbs up as drink refills and boxes for leftovers came to the table very quickly. read more

Great food, great atmosphere, and very friendly service! The Mac n cheese stuffed pancakes were a knockout, one of the best sweet and savory breakfast items I've ever had! Also loved their sofrito bowl with chicken. The chicken and rice were well-seasoned and fresh, and went very well with the sauces on top. The tripleta was also very good but we thought it was a bit on the dry side and would've been even better with some cheese and more sauce. Had a gift card so we came here and sat at the bar. After we ordered our food and drinks, the bartender let us know they were closing. I wish they let us know before we ordered. It was empty and they started stacking chairs and felt like they were trying to kick us out. It was only 8pm on Monday. Food was fine. Definitely not worth the hype. The place it's kind of a fusion of Puertorican & Bahama Breeze and got a baby. Awesome ambience, Great service, the food it's a hit or miss. The kabobs are kind of small, the Tripleta sandwich got curry, the plantain chips and potato sticks not as fresh as expected. Seems like more than a year since the last time we were here. We've missed coming down to Cocoa Beach out past few trips. Especially for a meal here. Last day in Florida and came down here before going to the airport. Forgot about warm, sunny days around a beach - traffic was crazy. But we're here, not busy so easy to find our seat. Really sad service today...I don't understand why the management did not staff better for a festival day . We sat for 10 minutes with no one coming to our table. My husband had to go ask for menus and still we didn't get any response. When the waitress finally came to the floor she went directly to the table of 6 that came in well after us . I got the nachos they were really good with steak. My wife got a wrap it was shrimp. She normally doesn't get the coleslaw or like it, but for some reason she enjoyed this places. We really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere here. Good tiki, island vibe and great food. We were there for breakfast and ordered the Wake Up Burrito with chorizo and it's big enough to share! However, we brought 1/2 of it home and ate it the next day. It's loaded with scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese etc. delicious. We also got the Rise 'n Shine bowl which was also really good. Actually parked in front of this establishment but was looking to get an ice cream at the Fat Donkey. Turns out they were closed on Tuesdays. Queued up the Tiny Turtle on Yelp and saw it had a good following. Sat at the bar (because it's just that kind of day for me cruising Cocoa Beach. Ordered the Tiny Turtle beverage; quite yummy. Tue bartender had his hustle on and was busy. Being In a dessert frame of mind I ordered the peanut butter chocolate rum cake. Thank goodness I do intermittent fasting to offset all this sugar intake. Sugar coma here I come! Ok the dessert was from frozen and not homemade so it was okay. Always appreciate homemade and fresh where possible. But I understand that dessert might not be their specialty. They get four stars for great service and yummy beverages. read more

Excellent food, everything was very fresh. We sat in the big, open-air palapa behind the restaurant. We had our beautiful dog, Ace, with us and he was very comfortable. Wish I was spending more time in Cocoa Beach because I definitely would come back here. Had heard great things about their breakfast and was able to stop by this morning to get a couple of their breakfast burritos to go. The restaurant is just off one of the main roads and is super cute. Walking inside it's a seat yourself situation or you can walk up to the counter to order to-go. I tried the sausage breakfast burrito, which includes eggs, potatoes, queso, guacamole, sour cream, roasted tomatillo sauce, and what they call creme caribe. All of the flavors played well together and this was one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had. I am seriously bummed that I don't have time to come back and try more of their menu on this trip. read more

My wife and I ate breakfast here yesterday morning. It was not crowded around 8:15 AM. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. TTT has a cute vibe. I had the stuffed French toast, which was good. My wife had the banana pancakes with fruit coulis, which was excellent. The portions were substantial. My wife could only eat half of her three pancakes. It would be nice if they offered a 2-pancake option at a slightly lower cost. The coffee was good, not great. Our only criticism is that the food and the coffee could have both come out a little hotter. read more

History

Established in 2013.

Inspired by his Grandmother's and Mother's cooking, the flavorful Sofrito base of Puerto Rico, and his own restaurant experiences, Chef Moises has created a menu and environment that will transport you to an island experience full of flavor and a laid back feeling. Opening during the famed Art Show that happens every year in Downtown Cocoa Beach as what was called Food Truck Style, being just a kitchen on the back of a building with a patio and picnic tables for seating, it has now evolved into a full service restaurant but still giving that feeling of a small local "Hidden Gem".

Meet the Business Owner: Moises y Kelly C.

Born in Puerto Rico Moises' family moved to Florida in the 80's spending the first couple years in South Florida and then relocating to Central Florida. Always having the dream of owning his own restaurant he was given the opportunity after meeting a good friend a couple years after moving to Cocoa Beach. When we told the host we were a party of 6 with a reservation, he seemed surprised and distraught - immediately leaving to bus one of the tables. A quality restaurant would have expected us and had our table prepared prior to our arrival. Multiple people in our party mentioned the host's frantic demeanor. I don't blame him - it was clear the restaurant was overwhelmed, despite so many empty tables. Was the kitchen backed up? We were sat at the table and the server was very pleasant - a very nice woman. She brought out the water - tap water which smelled and tasted a little funny. I would have expected filtered or bottled water, especially when the tap water quality was poor. At this point, given the above, we decided to leave. If the experience up to this point was not up to par, we didn't want to take our chances. We've seen too many Kitchen Nightmares episodes to take the risk. Chaos in the front of house is normally correlated to chaos in the back. Hopefully the restaurant takes our constructive criticisms to heart and tries to make some improvements. The buck starts with the management.

Unfortunately, friendly staff cannot compensate for a noticeable decline in quality, amenities, and overall service standards. What makes this even more frustrating is that this is my second disappointing experience with a Hilton-branded hotel in just three months. Two separate stays, two disappointments. Hilton used to be a brand I could book without hesitation because I knew what level of quality to expect. Sadly, that confidence is gone. The Hilton name no longer seems to carry the same standard it once did. After this stay, I think I'm done. The Restaurant and bar is only open on the weekends, though. I really hope more people give this place a try. AMAZING! After a long day at the pier we wanted something healthy and filling. We were looking for Jamaican and came across The Tiny Turtle... what a brilliant find. We split the Islander Wrap and Tripleta and were in heaven!!! Whether you're a tourist or a local this is a MUST try. My family and I have been coming here since they first opened. We absolutely love their food, service, staff and atmosphere. The Owners are one of the nicest and most generous people I know in Cocoa Beach. Their pork and mahi sofrito bowls are to die for. So delish! Taco Tuesdays are still our fave time to come! I thought maybe it was friends and family doing fake reviews, and I wanted to give an honest one. But I was VERY impressed. Both Peters were there: Lindtner in the kitchen cooking, and Jacjay greeting and serving guests. Jacjay was so nice and helpful to my wife, daughter, and me. What a nice guy! It's a very small place, but cute inside. Please note: Even though it wasn't listed on the menu that we could see, they CAN do lattes and cappuccinos. My latte was great! Now for the food: My daughter had the signature mushroom garlic soup, and it was delicious. I was jealous of my wife's bacon, cheese, and egg croissant... until my Western omelette came out, that is! Both were fantastic. My omelette was more of a thin, European-style omelette, but it was great! Like I said, I partially visited this restaurant to prove the reviews wrong and set the record straight if it needed to be. But everything was so good that all I've done is provide Just Peters with another five-star review. LOL. A well-deserved one.

Dani was taking care of us at 1st, but there was a shift change,& then Gia took over. She took really good care of us(party of 3)! Inside had so much decor & was mostly all about surfing & the beach life which really fit the vibe of Cocoa Beach. I ordered the blackened shrimp & grits,& we also got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The mozzarella sticks were really good & had that nice cheese pull, although they were a little thin. The food took a little while to come out, but everything was fresh & piping hot when it arrived. Now, the coleslaw deserves its own shoutout! You can get a side of coleslaw for only 11¢ per party. SCORE! 11¢ for coleslaw? I love me some coleslaw, so I was all about that! The blackened shrimp & grits were SOooo delish! The shrimp had so much flavor & there was so many of them. The grits were creamy & buttery. My meal came w/ cornbread. Let me tell you about that cornbread...It was fluffy,tasty, & I couldn't get enough of it. I almost ordered some to go.Honestly, everything we ordered was good. I'd come back again b/c the food was that GOOD!

The multiple servers including the last one who kept messing up items made the experience end on a sour note. I would give it another chance

We had the combos with yellow rice and pigeon peas (arroz con gandules), pork, chicken with cheese and basil, yucca, and platanos maduros. We got a bunch of empanadas for later and some desserts. Super super good! Nice people! We will be back next time we come through Titusville.
