Now they've expanded in there and they've filled the space with even more beautifully curated goodies, new and "found." There's a bit of everything in here, perfect for finding a gift for a friend, family, or a partner, or a little goodie for yourself. They've got beautiful art prints from independent artists, handmade ceramics, plus stationery, a bangin' candle section, lovely housewares and textiles like throws, pillows, and tea towels, plus jewelry, the list goes on and on. Plus when you shop here you're really shopping small, because most of what they carry falls into that category. If you go to their website you can take a look at a list of the artists they carry in store, and I love recognizing names of friends and people I admire in their respective fields. It's a delight digging through all their offerings and I highly recommend you get there soon to do it yourself!

This year was our first year with a real tree. My wife had one ever year as a kid and this year…read moresince we don't have a dog, we figured this is the time to do it. I checked around and emailed several tree farms and this place was the ONLY one to respond back to me. We went there on Thanksgiving weekend and it was a great experience. The kids enjoyed the wagon ride to the trees. We already knew what kind we wanted so we headed straight for that area. We found our tree in about 15 minutes (felt longer for our kids, they were ready to leave the tree area in 5 minutes since they wanted to go play). They have a little play area for the kids which most places dont have and its FREE!! Then we headed to the barn to look at their christmas display and have some hot chocolate. Its a great way to spend a morning or afternoon picking out a tree. Took us about 45 minutes or less. Some people might take longer if you don't know what kind. They'll gladly take you around to each section of trees. I suggest looking at their website and researching your tree before you pick it out that way you don't have to spend hours and hours looking for a tree. WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR and years to come. This is going to be a new tradition for our family. *** Prices are reasonable. We got a 7ft. spruce for $42. You can get the same kind at home depot for $30, BUT you cut it yourself so you know its fresh and its local. Why buy from a big box store who gets there trees from who knows where and sitting in a truck for several weeks when you can get a fresh tree!!

After searching for a true Christmas Tree Farm where you can cut your own fresh tree, we found…read moreHillside Christmas Tree Farm and instantly decided that we will be their customers for as long as they stay in business. Not only do they have all size trees, they have numerous varieties to choose from.

I checked out some of the jewelry and the spoon rings alone were $20 each. I looked through a lot of the clothing and most things were $14.99 and above. Most of their clothing wasn't very well curated for the high prices in my opinion. I tried on one top but the worker looked a little burdened to help which made me uncomfortable. Their garage home section was really cool but again, everything was incredibly overpriced. Overall, here are my prices and cons: Pros: 1. Some kind service; well greeted. 2. A lot bigger than you would expect. It goes far back and then loops around as well. Some places to sit for older people interested in checking it out Cons: 1. Overpriced for a consignment store. I work at one in a wealthier area and the items still aren't that expensive. 2. Imbalanced service. Some were kind, some weren't. 3. Size organization was kind of all over the place 4. Clothing isn't well curated. More for older generations. Overall, I definitely won't be back but I wish the best!
