    The vibe here is not as pleasant as it once was. The current cashier (owner?) is stern, unsmiling,…read moreand quick to place high prices on items without price tags. The building is dark. Items for sale on the top floor are mostly orderly, although there may be small piles of things in bins or on the floor in the holiday area and in toy section. The lower level and the rear receiving area are much more cluttered than sections on main floor. Prices are sometimes high for a thrift/resale shop. I recently looked at a jacket to take on a short trip and was surprised by the $50 price tag. I decided to check TJMaxx and found two new coats for $25 each. Dollar store items I noticed at ShareHouse were priced at $2.00 and higher. On the other hand, I found an elegant coffee table for $40. Reasonably priced items can be found on occasion, but I've had better luck, welcoming smiles, and better prices at Kiwanis, which is only open Fridays and Saturday's, the Ann Arbor Thrift Shop, and at the PTO Thrift Shop. I also like knowing where the money I pay is donated. The PTO Thrift Shop, A2 Thrift, and the ShareHouse are each open 6 days a week, which is nice.

When we tried to clarify, he called his employees liars and other derogatory names, but refused to honor the price quoted. When we asked if that was legal, Mike told us to call the police.
