After I dropped it off, they called me and said they didn't have the right window, even though they had ordered it knowing my VIN. They said there are six different types of windows, and they didn't get the right one. They said that happens. I feel like if they had warned me it might happen, or asked me to bring in my car before the appointment to ensure it was the right part, this could have been avoided. They didn't really seem to care. I called two other places, who said they should have known exactly what part to get, given they had my VIN. I don't think I'll go back.

Clackamas agreed to send their technician to me and take care of this. Big mistake! The technician looked at the chip and expressed confidence that he could fix the problem. Before I knew it, he was applying a grinding tool to the windshield, and the tiny rock chip suddenly turned into a huge crack, destroying my windshield.
