Got my glass repaired here in a jiffy. I Got 5 quotes for my windshield and they beat them all! They fix rick chips for free, and the windshield had a full year warranty. What else can you ask for? This is for their shop off of SW 72nd in Tigard. It's appointment-only, but I was able to use their website on a Sunday night to submit my request and phone #, and got a call back on Monday morning. I was in the shop by 2:00 that afternoon. The windshield replacement was very professionally done, was cheaper than I thought it would be, and took less time than I thought it would. Hopefully my windshield doesn't get cracked again, but if it does I know where I'm going. read more

Do not take your car here, or have these guys put a windshield in your car. I took my car there to their shop near I-205, and NE Foster Rd. They sloppily installed my windshield, got black urethane window glue on my interior cloth, and scratched my roof up. When I confronted the installer (unfortunately claimed owner) He got belligerent, threatened to take my windshield out, and cussed at me, and my girlfriend. Hes short, with red hair, and hes a real chode. Bottom line is they dont care about your car, or you as a customer. Definatelly will not be returning, or having them come near my car again. I've used Techna Glass a couple of times now and have always been really impressed with their people and workmanship. I arrived for my appointment in Clackamas yesterday morning and was greeted my Tina at the front desk who was friendly and helpful. I left my car (even though i didn't need to as the replacement in my BMW was only a little over an hour) and Tina called to let me know the work was completed and they would be ready for me whenever I returned. When I arrived, my car didn't even look like anyone had been in it, very clean and repaired beyond my expectations. Thanks again for a job well done! read more

I woke up to a broken car window. So I called around to find a replacement. Courtesy Ford wanted $192 for JUST the glass. I told them that was way more than what other people had quoted. Guy on the phone said well that's "Carlite" glass and the others will be thinner and not as good. I made another call, this one to Precision Glass. $78. I went to pick it up... and.... it was "Carlite" glass!!!! It was in stock and they let me pick it up directly from the warehouse to save time as I was in a hurry. Moral of the story ... the window obviously costs both Courtesy Ford and Precision somewhere around $50. Precision applied an appropriate markup and sold it to me for a reasonable price. I'll go back for my future needs. I did the repair myself as I am the frugal handy type. read more

I'm a repeat customer for a reason. Came in today to have for what I thought was a rock chip on my Audi and turned out it was only a small scuff, no repair needed but I'm sure that some other companies would have just taken my money. I also requested a quote on a new windshield (just in case) from their amazing office lady(I'm horrible at remembering names) and I was very pleased on their pricing. If you chose to use this company, I would call ahead to make sure your windshield is physically in the shop. I was told the install would take an hour. 30 minutes after arrival, I was told the windshield had not been delivered to the shop it would take an additional 1.5 hours to get it delivered. The really disappointing part was the attitude of the installers "not my fault, I just work here." I also emailed the sales rep, Doug Rocks, who had contacted me several times to schedule and the manager, Eric Seaver, who did not return my calls or emails. So disappointing. I chose Techna Glass because of the good reviews about customer service. Not my experience. But then, good customer service is harder when there is a mistake. read more

Here's my final review. The owner got in touch with me and reimbursed me to get my gasket fixed. That's great customer service. Due to the fact that the stand by their work and still offer great pricing in the area. I would not hesitate to give precision auto glass another shot, but i will be sure to ask about which gasket that they will be installing. read more

Rude customer service. The reviews on here made me want to give this place a try. Have not physically been in there. However, their phone service is rude and unprofessional. Been here twice. First time my window was broken from one side to the other. When I called my insurance company they said my deductible was $500 so I waited on the repair. I heard about Techna Glass on the radio and their price was much lower than my deductible so I called and made an appointment. The woman on the phone was able to get my deductible waived completely and I paid nothing for the repair. I was in and out of their shop in 47 minutes after being told 90 minutes. As a former business owner, I always appreciate finding someone who shares my business ethics. The customer really should come first and, if you or your company makes a mistake that causes a problem for you, then you fix it. quickly. So I was especially pleased to be referred to TechnaGlass by AAA when someone(s) of less than average intelligence decided to break into my car while I was on vacation. Apparently breaking the window set off my alarm which continued running until the battery ran out. I was greeted upon my return by a field of glass surrounding the side of my car. AAA towed me to TechnaGlass, which was on its approved list.The repair was done in less than a day which meant that the cost of my rental car was covered. Not only that, the price was more than fair. Later when I discovered that the passenger door electronics weren't working, I took the car to my dealer, thinking it was best equipped to repair the problem. It turned out that the electronic harness hadn't been reconnected after the glass was replaced. My dealer only charged me for labor, but since it was still less than my deductible for the incident, the cost came out of my pocket. Prepared for some push-back, I showed the bill to Eric, the Technaglass manager, and he immediately agreed that since the mistake was made by Technaglass, he would reimburse me for my costs. My mother in law was visiting from out of town, she got a rock chip that turned into a crack on her windshield. We put in a request ON Thanksgiving and we were scheduled by 10am the next morning. We went to the Tigard location and they were fast, really friendly and did a great job with the repair. It was great that we didn't have to spend the whole weekend dealing with this. I called around getting quotes for a new Windshield for my pickup. Techna Glass ended up having the most competitive pricing, and an excellent warranty and rock chip repair program. I arrived for my appointment and they got going on it right away. My wife picked me up, we went and had lunch and then she dropped me back off at Techna. My pickup was parked out front with its brand new windshield and looked great. Upon checking out I was given another discount for a promotion that they were running, so I was really pleased to save even more money. I had the best experience with Techna Glass. Originally I was set up with them from my insurance. The. Unfortunately found out my insurance wasn't covering my broken window. Paying all out of pocket now I decided to shop the price they quoted me. Techna Glass ended up being the lowest price anyway. Their customer service was 5 star and I couldn't have been happier. When the tech came to me to fix the window there was an unexpected broken part that had to be ordered. The part alone was $500 from the dealership. Techna called me and suggested I check a local auto parts store to see if I could save money on the part. That advice saved me $400! I recently had the unfortunate surprise of finding a good size chip in the bottom of my windshield. I was frustrated coming across the damage and with having no idea where it came from. Within the last few days cracks have formed off the chip and made its way up and across the windshield. Even MORE frustrating. I started looking around at places nearby and getting quotes for a windshield replacement to see what my options were. Turns out my insurance wouldn't cover the replacement so it was important for me to find an affordable solution. Thankfully my cousin had JUST had her husbands windshield replaced here and told me to check them out. Happy that I did because not only were they extremely reasonably priced, I dealt with a gentleman named Mike Stark who was an absolute pleasure. He ran into some issues while doing the replacement and came and had a very honest conversation with me. He was extremely genuine and made sure to be up front and transparent about what my options were. Rather than pushing me towards the more expensive option to make more money as a business, he let me know what he would personally do and his honest opinion which I very much appreciated! We did a lot of research and finally chose TechnaGlass do install a new OEM windshield on our 2011 Mercedes Benz GLK. Their technicians are Accredited Auto Glass Technicians with the Auto Glass Safety Council. Apparently it is very easy to open a shop and provide windshield replacement, but being certified with the Auto Glass Safety Council clinched our decision. Our TechnaGlass technician, Andrew Reeve, did an excellent installation, and both he and the Eric Seaver, the General Manager, took pride in the services they provided. Highly recommended! read more

We tried to ignore the hole in our huge picture window for as long as possible (thanks to some kid shooting a BB through the outer pane) but when it started developing a huge crack, we figured we had better replace it before the whole thing fell down. I called all over town, and Precision was the only place that treated me like a real person, not some dumb girl who didn't know anything about windows. Their quote was in line with everyone else, and they had someone out the next day to measure our window. Since it was over a holiday weekend, it took about a week to get the glass.
