If you're considering getting tint here make sure u talk with them in detail about the shade you're looking for. They told me they would match my front windows to my rear. The tint they applied is noticeably lighter than my rear windows. My car window was smashed during a break in and Highline Customs was recommended by the window repair shop for tinting. I was able to make an appointment the next morning. Once the work was completed the manager asked how the window was broken. I explained it happened as a result of a break in. The manager said Highline did not want to profit off my misfortune and did not charge me. I've had Highline tint several of my newer vehicles and they have all turned out great! I took my 2024 SOLTERRA in recently and unknowingly to both of us there is a UV film on these cars, it was scratched in the normal cleaning process before applying the tint. Eric was great about explaining what happened and they ordered new factory windows and had them replaced, they even covered the cost of the tinting. Made an appointment to bring my 3rd car here recently. Since I only needed 2 windows tinted I decided to wait around, time was a little longer than usual, but no real complaints. I should mention that my two previous cars had all the windows tinted and they never showed any signs of bubbling or peeling. Always quality work from here and a fair price. Guess I'm trading in and out of vehicles a bit too much lately. This one was a brand new 2023 cross-over sized compact SUV and it came factory pre-tinted on the back and rear windows, the front side windows were not tinted. The factory tint was fairy dark, not blackout, I'm guessing around 20% visible light transmission (VLT), which on a standard car or wagon in Oregon is considered unlawful if less than 35% VLT... Oddly enough trucks, vans and SUV's rear and back windows behind the driver can be as dark as you want legally, but the side front and passenger windows should allow a minimum 35% visible light transmission, and the front windshield should not be tinted, aside from a strip along the top. Anyways, I decided to match the rest of the windows, went with their mid-range density durable quality tint film. Looks pretty close to identical, maybe just barely a different color shade, but you have to look pretty hard to see the difference. Another fine tint job... until the next ! read more

These guys run an honest shop and they stand behind their work. They performed a full tint on my new car about 18 months ago. Took a couple days of phone tag and email exchanges before deciding on what work would be done and setting an appointment for the following week. A few hours later they emailed again and offered a discount if I could bring it in next day to fill a last minute cancellation - Score! Appointment took about 90 minutes and they did a fine job although there were some small air bubbles on the passenger side window that only became noticeable after curing. But they were only noticeable in direct sunlight and were small enough that I felt like I could live with it. Fast forward to the present; after an attempted burglary left my drivers side window cracked but intact (luckily my car came with laminated glass panels), I brought it back to have the newly installed panel re-tinted. Cost was $100 which seemed fair. Since I was there, I asked if they could take a look at the bubbles just to see if it could be easily fixed. I don't know a lot about the process of window tinting but they said that they would take care of it, and they did, by stripping and reapplying the tint at no charge. Both windows cured perfectly this time around and look great! Only (minor) criticism is that they often seem busy with work in the shop and therefore can be difficult to reach directly by phone. They did return my VM messages, but it's far easier from the customer perspective to ask questions and discuss business with them via email. They usually responded by the end of business, but more importantly they took the time to respond with sufficient detail so that any questions/concerns I had were resolved in the first exchange. read more

On 2/22/24 I have Highline Customs PPFed my 2024 Model X as alway they did great job. I said always, because this is my Car #8 they PPF or Tinted windows ,some of my cars they did tint and PPF and I never ever had bad experience. Last Year( 2023) they PPF and tinted my 2023 Model Y and 2023 Model X, both cars still looks perfect like they did it today. I've used this company to tint 3 or 4 prior vehicles in the past with acceptable quality for the price, not this time though. First, the website stated the install would be $50 dollars less than what I was billed for in shop, when I asked why the difference multiple employees gave me different bumbling answers as if they did not know, did not jive with the other answer, or were making things up. When chatting with others in the waiting room while my car was worked on, these customers informed me they were all there for repair work from prior installs (air bubbles) that the company originally said would "go away" once the film dried and cured. These customers stated that it got worse over time and they were not satisfied. When my car was done, I inspected things closely because after overpaying I really did not want to have to set another day aside to have to get the work fixed like the others on site. Sure enough I found debris trapped under the film in multiple places. When I brought this to the installers attention, and going back and forth he said "well I'll just pull it off and refund your money", which he promptly did in an unprofessional hmph. Terrible customer service for a repeat customer. The installer also left scraps of cut film inside the car. It seems these guys may be rushing though cars and not giving the proper attention to detail. As a background, I've been building and restoring cars of all types for over 35 years, even tinting my own windows on several cars, so I have a better idea than most customers of what is both acceptable and achievable. I will be steering everyone I know in the industry away from ever using this company in the future and I would suggest anyone reading this think twice about using them as well. read more

I got all my windows tinted on 10/3. I bought their Groupon and made the appointment within a week. Super easy process! The gentleman on the phone - was very nice and gave no hassle on getting me in within a week. My appointment was set for 1pm and I showed up about 15-20 minutes early. I was helped right away! Sadly, I don't remember the guys name - who helped me. But he was extremely nice and informative. I chose my tint shade and signed a few things and my car was on its way - off for a make over. The employee advised it would take about an hour in a half. They have a nice waiting area - comfortable couch, tv, magazines and fish tank. I put my headphones on and played some games on my iPad and before I knew it. My car was done - They advised me to not roll my windows down for 4-5 days and they also had a piece of paper in my car of things to not do for the time being. I waited for the 5 days to pass to give my full review and I'm extremely happy with my results. Such a great deal and amazing work done. My friend also came here to do her windows months ago and bought the Groupon and even though she likes her tint. She said after seeing mine - she wished she had gone darker. I had Highline tint and PPF my VW ID4. They did an excellent job on the windows and the PPF looks flawless. I initially had an issue with one of the tinted windows and they fixed it on the spot. They're very responsive and have great customer service and they offer some of the best tints (Huper I3 Ceramic) and Suntek PPF. I highly recommend getting at least a partial PPF on EVs since there isn't a grill on them to catch rocks. read more

Yes! This place is great so far! Affordable pricing, great explanations of all the current tint options and pretty darn quick. First off I have to call it their DOPE salt water fish tank! It's AWESOME!! We managed to score a Groupon to get the VW tinted. We saved 35% which was good enough to give them a shot. Pls they had great review. But since I had to have the visor strip done it was an additional $45, which is a very fair price imo so we got the add-on. They said they'd be done in 60-90 minutes which I was personally impressed with how quick they anticipated getting it done but I wasn't returning until after work so I let them know that and it was done when I arrived as expected.
