This is my 5th time using Alexia for my auto tint needs. As always, an easy process in and out. The only big difference this time is I did experience a couple of bubbles. They told me to come back by and they would get it fixed. I showed up and they took the car right back. I was in and out within 20min - no more bubbles! They said if I have anymore issues to come back by and they will do whatever it takes to ensure I am satisfied. I 100% believed them when they said that. They never once made me feel like I was an inconvenience or that they were upset I came back to have the issue addressed. I'm about two weeks post-install and I'm very pleased! The work turned out great and has made a substantial improvement to the comfort inside of my car, as well as its appearance. I saw that others experienced issues with bubbling or peeling, but I haven't had anything of that nature. Part of me is wondering how closely they followed the discharge instructions. They give you a 1-pager with a list of things to avoid and I stuck to it religiously. For example, you're not supposed to wash your car for 5 days and I waited 10. Not supposed to open your windows for 3 days and I waited 8. Things like that will help minimize any flaws or complications. Pricing was very reasonable too, all 4 side windows plus the rear hatch were $285. I had called around to other places that wanted closer to $400. I'll definitely be using them for my wife's car next time around, they've quoted us $125 to match the front windows to the rest of her car. read more

Overall a decent experience. The work they completed turned out great... just one issue with the experience which normally would be a bigger issue to me if my tint job wasn't so perfect. First off, don't buy the coupon on yelp. I called and told them I wanted my front windows tinted on my crosstrek. They gave me a quote of 110$. I was happy to pay that and made an appointment. When I was reading yelp reviews I saw they had a coupon, 50$ for 75$ worth of work. No restrictions were listed on the coupon. So I purchased one and was even more thrilled that the two windows would cost me only 85$. Car took about 3 hours to complete. When I came back and went to pay I was told I couldn't use the coupon because I was quoted the "sale" price and that the actual price was $150 to be able to use the coupon. I mentioned that there was nothing on the coupon that indicated it would be a problem but she told me there was no way she could honor the coupon and that they should put on the coupon is not good for roll up windows. So I essentially ended up paying the 150$ price in order to be able to use the coupon (since it was through yelp and not something i could easily return), resulting in me paying 125$ for a job they quoted me 110$ for. The only reason I let the issue go was because I was referred by a coworker and In the end 15$ wasn't going to make or break me. I just found this to be poor business practices. That said the actual product looks great. I liked that they told me what was legal and what would match my windows the best. They take care to tape your window buttons so you don't accidentally roll them down prior to the 5 days and damage the product. The older man who actually applied the tint did a really incredible job. Immediately I saw bubbles in the film and was worried it wouldn't look good. But be patient... within the week they were completely gone and it was a flawless job... well worth the 125$ I paid, I just wish they would take down the coupon or put appropriate restrictions on it so that the issue I had doesn't happen to others. I'd likely go back again... but this time I'll skip the coupon purchase until verifying I can use it. read more

On the recommendation of my bro, I went to get my parents' old Honda Accord tinted here. The woman at the counter, whom I assume is Alexia, was very helpful in explaining the different tint percentages and tint material. Once I selected, I handed off the keys to them. It would only take 3-4 hours and they will call you when it's ready (or you can wait in their little lounge at the front). They did a pretty good tint job, though I saw one or two bubbles. They explained that it would be common to see some bubbles, as the glue was still drying. Little fishy, but I'll take their word for it. You can't open the windows until the glue dries fully, which takes a few days. Worth it? With the Yelp discount I'd say so. read more

Great service and the people who work there did a great job tinting my widows. They are very courteous and really in tune with the COVID virus situation. They clean every thing from the pen you use to sign things, to your car key and remote and they do a thorough wipe down of your vehicle prior to your pickup. read more

Sketchy. Skizzzzzzzzzetchy. Ultra sketch. Sketchtastic. Sketchalicious. Alexia's comes "recommended" from our 2 Portland area BMW dealers. I'm not entirely sure how they were able to pull off that cross-promotion but alas, somehow they were. So, great, I take my car over for a full tint job (legal), including the removable hardtop. The place is a dive in an alley behind Tom's Pancake House near Cedar Hills Blvd. I can nearly guarantee you didn't even realize this alley was here. Anyway, it's in a pretty dilapidated building that just doesn't scream "PURCHASE OUR SERVICE WITH CONFIDENCE". I ain't being snooty here, I'm just stating the facts. Oh, and this is neat, too: there's a business next door called "Private Pleasures". I kid you not, this building (errr, former house) is so run down it wouldn't be out of place in like... Beirut. I was starting to wonder if I shouldn't have been packing heat in this alley. So, I had to take my car back twice. They replaced the passenger side window tint 2 times due to sloppy work (bubbles, streaks, etc.). The shop setting itself combined with those two experiences are 3 strikes for this customer. I'll pick somewhere like Highline Customs right up Murray next time. read more

Don't be fooled by the lack of a fancy building at Alexia's. The work and materials are quality, the location is convenient, and who wants to pay extra for fancy when you're only going to be there 15 minutes? The customer service wasn't super efficient, but the salesperson was very nice and knowledgeable. They have small example plaques you can take into your car and look through to get a true idea of what it will be like afterward, which is really nice. I stopped in several months ago on a recommendation from my brother, and I'm very pleased with the result. The tinting has stayed immaculate looking and hasn't interfered with radio or cell signals, the material is designed to avoid that problem, or the rear defroster grid. The main reason I didn't give five stars is there was a miscommunication when I placed my original order. I had wanted the moonroof done as well, but when I returned they didn't have a record of the request. Because my work schedule required me to drop the car off overnight they gave me a discount to compensate for my inconvenience and it was very fair. Since mistakes happen every once in a while with every business, it's says a lot about what they do to fix it and Alexia's exceeded my expectations. After I picked up my car and drove home I noticed what I thought was a flaw in the tinting and started to become frustrated until I realized it was a small piece of leftover tint just sitting there, and was easy to get rid of. I would recommend they try to avoid little errors like this that, while minor, can cause a lot of stress, in order to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. Part of the reason why I'm writing this is because it's easy to take a good thing for granted and forget it's there However, when I remember to really look at the tint I'm reminded again what an amazing job they did and I can't help but smile with satisfaction. read more

As a long-term, returning customer with multiple experiences here, I thought this place deserved a genuine review. Alexia's did the tint on my Civic, Mustang, and most recently my WRX. I have never had any problems, and some of these jobs were done, I'm guessing about 6 years ago now. I like that the employees are straightforward. They give you the information and provide recommendations. But ultimately, I'm betting they'd do pretty much whatever you asked them to. I'm beyond thrilled with the work. Listening to their instructions, reading the literature provided, and experience has taught me not to sweat the imperfections that will go away within a few days or weeks. Alexia provided a certificate indicating the legal status of the front windows. Plus, if I'm ever unhappy with the work, I know they'll be more than willing to fix it. Alexia's is an honest and straightforward place, and I know I'll continue to bring in future vehicles. I am confident in the quality of the work, and know that they truly care about their customers. It is a little odd to find, behind Tom's Pancake House, next to Beaverton Pawn. The building does "have character," but that does not indicate the quality of the work or the professionalism of the crew. The restroom door can be tricky ;-) Fair pricing, seems to be pretty consistent with other shops. 4 doors plus the hatch was $225 I think. read more

I'm often tied up at work (like most of us are I'm sure). I had a 5 day break and was wanting to get our Forester's windows tinted. I contacted several businesses in town and couldn't get in with anyone. I was able to speak with Alexia (owner), and explained my work schedule to her. She said she'd review her appointment schedule and should anyone cancel, I'd be contacted. Sure enough, Alexia called me later that day, and was able to set me up first thing next day. It's been over a week now and we are very pleased with the end product. The windows turned out FABULOUS! We have another vehicle at home and am seriously considering a return trip to Alexia's. I got my jeep done at Alexia's and was recommended to me by a co worker. I was impressed with the work and how quick they got it done. I dropped it off at 9 and got it back by 1230. When I got there the lady was very nice and helped me out but when i got out in my car there was a bunch of tinting material left on the roof of my jeep. I got inside and there was a bunch of dirty paper towels left in the front and back seat. My seat was also moved all the way up in the steering wheel and my car was left unlocked in a gravel parking lot with no one watching it. I gave them a 3 star due to the things that where left in/on my car and how it was left unlocked. I work at a dealership on canyon road and if we left those things in the cars or left them unlocked we would be fired. I will be finding another shop next time. read more

This was my second car I brought to them to have my windows tinted. They do an amazing job!! Even after a few years of having my first cars windows tinted they started to bubbling crack in the middle of the bottom of the window, and I called them and they told me to bring the car and they replaced everything for free!!! AWESOME! Brought my Second brand-new car in today to have the windows tinted again, and again they did an amazing job! I just wish that they would've told me when my car was done instead of allowing me to sit there for another hour! I value my time I wish they did! However I value that it's a family owned a business. I used a yelp deal so I can't complain too much. They'll do whatever color tint you want. Nervous for getting a ticket for the tints being too dark I went with 40. I wish I would have signed the waiver and gotten at least 30. It's a mother & son team who are both really nice. And the guys who put it on... They did a really good job. Just know this, you can't roll your windows down or get a high pressure car wash for a bit. read more

This place is literally the worst in the auto tinting business. I took my Toyota Tacoma in for just the 2 front windows tinted. Not only did they give me low-quality tint that was 50% instead of the 35% that I asked for, but the installation was terrible. Lots of dirt under the tint like the window wasn't cleaned prior to install. Air bubbles that NEVER came out, the edges were improperly shaved so the tint started peeling off. Don't take any vehicle here unless you want it ruined. Take your car to Highline Customs (where I went to get mine redone) and get it done the right way the first time. read more

Went in to get the driver side and passenger side, viser tinted. When i got home there was small nicks in the passenger window and driver window. Called and was told if it cant be seen from 3 feet away its good. Then told me it could of happen from the seat belt, no one even sat over there on my ride home. Im sure they have some good tinters i just did not get that one. So you will take a chance if you take your vehicle here. read more

Alexia you were given several opportunities to respond to the situation. You did not return phone calls or emails which is why we came to talk to you face to face. A couple of things: 1. I told you specifically that it was the trim pieces that were broken and siliconed back in place by either your techs or your subcontractor, Atlas Auto Glass. I even forwarded the photos and written explanation from Landmark Ford about how the pieces were broken and covered up by silicone rather than proper repair, which is why they came flying off on the freeway. I told you it was an almost $800 repair. 2. I did not hire Atlas Auto Glass, you did. He is your subcontracted Employee, and you are the contractor I hired, thus you are responsible. I did not have a choice in who you hired. 3. If he says he did not silicone the pieces, then it must have been your techs. Again, you are responsible. 4. Yes, we called you again the next day because you had not returned a call. We let you know the car was finished and we needed to resolve the situation in order to pick up the car. You had my information the day before, it was not minutes. 5. You are correct, a lot can happen in 2.5 years. Especially when silicone is used in place of a bracket. This is likely why they use bolts and screws to hold cars together rather than silicone. Had the work been done properly in the first place it would not have flown off. 6. No threats were made to you, in fact I think my husband and I were allowed about 4 words between Stan yelling at us, calling us names, and screaming profanities. There was not a single chance of talking, and discussing. It was an immediate escalation from you both. 7. You never offered to tint a window for free, nor was there another car that needed tinting. 8. I did call you a name. I called you a liar. Seems pretty accurate. 9. If you are so beside yourself, here's your chance. Make it right. read more

2009 TOYOTA PRIUS // TINT ON ALL WINDOWS AND THE VISOR Based upon the reviews I felt comfortable that the job would be done right, although I had my doubt's, one guy describing it as a run down building in the middle of the ghetto basically and the place being super shady. It's in an industrial area and the building is fine for what they do. The place was clean, the employees that greet customers could dress a little nicer, perhaps with a company polo or something. But again it's a tint shop not Nike, or Intel. I communicated via the get a quote option on yelp, the response was very fast every single time (I think we went back and forth about six times) and the price was fair, I even got a discount using the yelp coupon. The work was impeccable, they made one mistake on my visor, immediately Alexia took my call after I noticed it was approximately 3/8" short when I got home, and said no problem, bring it back and we will fix it. I will recommend Alexia's Window Tinting to all my friends and family. read more

I've been going to Alexa's window tinting for years and historically they do a great job. I recently had my vehicle's windows tinted and ended up having to return on 3 separate occasions due to the rear window tint not adhering to the glass. In there defense, all the other windows look great but it floored me that I needed to return on 3 different occassions to get the rear window tint right. read more

*UPDATE* After much debate and consulting with some Porsche mechanics, I decided to contact Alexia despite having those forms filled out. They asked for me to bring the car back to "determine fault". They looked the car over and was told they haven't made a mistake in 17 years, well...there is a first time for everything. Not only was the old adage of "The customer is always right" completely tossed out, I even got the run around of "You have a phone call to take". Not a good way to conduct business when you have a customer in front of you. Especially when this customer was willing to play ball and not go the full monty (new wiper motor, switch, labor. To the tune of about 2k). What did I want? Fix the damage done; put a $20 wiper delete kit in, a $2 black out cap for the console switch, fix the electrical and call it a day. I was told they were going to consult a former boss and would receive a phone call the next day. I never even had the respect to have a phone call returned. It was also mentioned to me to contact a lawyer, and small claims court to resolve what should've been an easy problem to solve. If I had the means and time to do so, I would. It's a shame. DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT take your car here if you care about your car. If I could post pics of the damage I would. read more

I brought my car here at 1:30 my car was supposed to be done by 4:30 ...I came back at 4:30 and my car was still sitting in the lot with no tint....I asked the lady at the front desk and she said it would be done soon ...I'm still sitting in the waiting area and it's 5:30...You make the call....I'm still here and it's 6:00 ...They couldn't figure out my car seat so they yanked it to the side on my leather seats then decided to come ask me if I could uninstall it....it's now 6:30.... read more

I just had my windows tinted at Tommy's Window Tinting today and they did such an awesome job it reminded of how poorly of a job Alexias did on my Mustang a couple of years back. I had to take the car back several times because of bubbling & lifting and even had hair trapped inside. I even found a 1.5" strip by my side mirror that they didnt even tint! After my second trip back I was told that's all they could do and that they had the best HVAC shop ever and that it wasnt gonna get any better...both my other cars were tinted @ Tommy's w/ his long haired dogs running around the shop (not a single strand of hair found! or bubbles! or lifting!). I am actually considering taking the Mustang to Tommy's and having them strip off the tint and retint it...it's only been a couple of years and my mustang is always parked in the garage and it's already starting to get a slight purple tinge even though they garaunteed it wouldn't! Do yourself a favor and make the extra drive to Tommy's in Portland, it's worth not having to deal w/ Alexia's hassles. read more
