Chose a set of Vossen wheels and worked with Iain for pricing, fit, and finish. On time delivery but when I arrived to look at the finished product Iain and I decided the "hella flush" was a little heavy on the "hella" and light on the "flush" as it sat a bit outside. These were custom powder coated wheels and there was zero pushback about the issue. Iain immediately said "let's get this fixed" and ordered another set and had them powder coated. In any good company good customer service is about what they do when an issue comes up. 503 hit it out of the park by their reaction to this issue. If Iain was an attractive woman (& not a middle aged balding man) I would have kissed him when I saw the results. This is the fourth project this team has done for me. As a car enthusiast and detailing snob I can say I was delighted with the service recieved at 503. We took our car in for a full detail after a dealership wash gone awry. The car was just detailed weeks prior, so an average detail shop could have simply passed over the car once with a polisher in a couple hours and called it good. However the detail crew at 503 took their time, kept the car all day, applied some extra protection that wasn't even in the initial bid, and cleaned the interior as well. I'm not going to ding this place stars for their pricing but holy cow! This business is for customers who recently hit megabucks or just have more money than brains. I have a fairly new Challenger and have been looking around for a while for a one-stop shop to handle various upgrade projects I have in mind. The Yelp reviews are impressive and it appears that they do first class work. For the prices they are charging I would certainly expect no less. I am a free enterprise capitalist and believe that businesses are welcome to charge whatever they like. If pricing is excessive than they will find themselves out of business. Obviously they are able to find sufficient customers to keep the lights on so more power to them. I'm merely posting this review as information that prospective customers can use to decide how much time and energy they want to put into their consideration process. If cost is no object you will likely love this place. I had contacted 503 a couple of times previously and found their prices to be in the stratosphere for those projects also. But this latest quote really came off as something else. I asked about installing a dashcam that I can provide or buy from them. I included the model info for the unit I'm considering. They are dealers for a similar model that is not quite as fully featured as the one I have in mind for $250 more PLUS $650 to install. Wow! I would have been happy to go with the unit they represent if it was competitively priced, but... So the cost to install the dashcam I would provide? Wait for it. $225/hr with a 5 hour estimate! $1,125 just to install a dashcam. Yikes! I sent this same quote out to a couple of other places using Yelp's "request a quote" feature and the highest quote was a flat fee of $125. This is consistent for what I'd expect to pay for this sort of work. There's no major surgery involved in installing this dashcam, btw. Mostly just a matter of tucking the wiring under the head liner and trim. Yeah, I want a nice, clean, professionally done job but jeez Louise.... Again, this could well be a fine shop (although at these prices I guess I will never know) and thus no minus stars. And their estimator does seem to have a well developed sense of humor. read more

And I was finally back for an annual Ceramic Pro refresh session that includes a solid wash, complete decontamination, fine polish, and careful reapplication of the CP Top Coat. Because the top coat is the only layer that degrades over time the refresh really brought back the shine and hydrophobic nature of the coating. Not inexpensive, but the results were worth the investment. I had them lower my 2016 Model S an inch (so that my stock-size 20" rims better filled the wheel wells), de-chrome all the trim, remove the badges, and apply a full ceramic coating treatment. I was originally going to buy the rims through 503 as well, but most of the options were well above my budget, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on something that will eventually wind up with curb rash. Their wheel/rim mounting costs are also higher than what you'll pay at a dedicated tire/rim shop. I bought my rims from a Tesla-oriented dealer, and then had them mounted at Discount Tire. The combination of the de-chroming and the ceramic coating were spectacular--they made my six-year-old car look showroom new, and the ceramic coating has held up very well so far (though we're only a few months in). The paint is now so deep and rich that it really looked like it'd been repainted in a deeper red. Although the top-tier ceramic coating was the most expensive part of this project, it was definitely worth the money. I tried to make the before-and-after photo as comparable as possible--I took both at similar times of the day, from similar angles. The change in the apparent paint color is as obvious as it is in the photo; that's not some trick of the lighting. Overall, I'm thrilled with the work 503 Motoring did on my car, and would recommend them to anyone looking to have work done. You can probably find a cheaper shop, but I don't know that you can find a better shop. read more
