The place is wedged at the edge of a neighborhood that backs up to one of the main city streets. I believe I saw about six parking spots total in the gravel parking lot. ZOLA's coffee menu is a unique blend of spiced lattes and especially sourced beans. There's just a couple breakfast bar type food items to choose from. After looking over the menu a few times, a barista stepped out from behind the coffee bar and started talking with me about the menu options. I tried the cumin latte which definitely peaked my mind. I then explored the diverse selection of used and new books in the space. Most of the reading selections were unknown to me, a rare experience. I picked up a journal on women's spirituality. I only had a hour in this store before it closed. Not enough time to see everything, yet I had a pleasant time browsing items in this store. The store has a skeleton in a chair greeting you at the entrance and a meerkat as its symbol & mascot. A meerkat is a mongoose from South Africa. The lady at the shop was very kind and gave me a sticker of the shop. I saw on the sticker a meerkat dressed in Victorian clothing. Inside the store is an enchanting tea & coffee bar. After scanning the teas offered in the store to drink today, I wish I had sampled the DRAGON'S HOARD, SMOKY BLACK TEA they had. It has a blend of Black Tea, Lapsang Soushong Tea, Cocoa Nib, Allspice, Cinnamon, Cloves, Carob, Calendula, Cornflower, and Safflower. Lapsang Soushong tea is my favorite tea and has a unique smoky flavor. Very difficult to find and only in specialty high end grocery stores or teahouse places. I purchased two dragon bloodstones for $3 each before the store closed. The store's highlights: A tea & coffee bar with unique tea blends and a sitting area to drink & converse. It was the first time I ever saw and found a bone throwing divination kit for purchase in a store. It had a scan code beside it to learn how to use the bone kit as well. They offered small kits for $9.99 and large kits with an instruction book for $39.99. If you want a ready made divination kit, these are ideal. Most of the items in the store had scan codes to link you with information of the merchandise being sold. The store has an assortment of occult jewelry with Lilith sigils and rare occult symbols. I never see this in a metaphysical store. The bookshelves area has a LBGQT & Sex Magic section. Wild! The sticker with a meerkat - a great idea to give to store patrons and definitely makes the shop visit memorable with this unique memento. Kind & helpful customer service Madame Meerkat's Cabinet of Curiousities is the place to see if you want to have a one of a kind experience in a metaphysical store.

They sell and make Snowshoe share teas which are fabulous. I had a summer solstice iced tea made fresh and it was absolutely delicious and so refreshing. I love being able to pick up a high quality tea like this at a local place. Their soaps are great and I enjoyed meeting Juniper who was working there. They have tons of incense, crystals, candles and so many "curiosities" that no one else in town has.

We both got refreshers. I had pineapple and passion fruit with traditional tapioca pearls, and my husband got strawberry lemonade with strawberry jellies. Both were delicious. I got 25% sweet, and that was definitely sweet enough for us. He got 75% and said he would go lower on the sweetener next time. We'll definitely stop in for more boba when we're in the area!

This would be a nice casual spot to catch up with a friend over boba drinks. They have a sign at the front door that requests you to fill out an order form before going to the counter. I tried the popular special-tea slush tea drink called White Dragon, which is a mixture of white peach and passonfruit flavor with your choice of tea. I chose black tea and added boba and mango jelly for an additional cost. I only had to wait about a couple of minutes for my drink to be done. The drink itself was good and sweet, but not overly sweet. The boba was good, chewy. The mango jelly was also good-they were shaped as cute stars. My only complaint is that I could not taste the black tea. Otherwise, it was a refreshing drink to have on a hot day. They have other interesting drinks that I look forward to trying next time.
