Despite a mischievous look, Labubu is kind-hearted and always wants to help. Aren't they so cute? I hurried over to Newbury Comics and they had THE MONSTERS - Have a Seat Vinyl Plush Blind Box, THE MONSTERS - Exciting Macaron Vinyl Face Blind Box, The Monsters Coca-Cola Series Figures Blind Box, and The Monsters Lazy Yoga Series Blind Box behind the checkout counter. There is a limit of purchasing 3 of each type and no holds. A few hours later, I saw an update on the post that Have a Seat and Exciting Macaron Blind Box were sold out. I am so glad Newbury Comics carries these blind boxes and even have a whole Pop Mart section. I've also purchased hippers. Hippers are adorable decorative mini figures come with adhesive tape to stick onto your laptop, desk, phone, bookshelf, and more. I've stuck them on my monitor and my desk organizer. It's a friendly atmosphere where you will find all types of comic book customers and is welcoming to both novices and enthusiasts. This shop is kid friendly and I don't have give my kids the "angry mom look" when they navigate themselves through the store because they are encouraged to check things out and explore (side note: anything really special or valuable is behind a glass case) without concern that they *might accidentally touch* something irreplaceable. They also have a nice selection of games, figurines, and retro items you will remember from your childhood. They are really good with tracking down back issues of comics you may have missed which is a plus for some collectors. I can tell you that this store is huge, neatly set up, and boasts an ungodly amount of comics, collectibles, figurines, toys, games, cards, books, posters (check out the very foxy Supergirl) across the pop culture spectrum of movies, television, comic books, super heroes & villains. They even have a small sports card section, so every branch of the Nerd Tree is represented here! They don't have a website, but have a Facebook page on their business card, which I included as a photo.

I then bought another 18 comic book full set for $15 and with 2 missing books (that was clearly marked as missing) and I found the other 2 online, so now I have the full set, and it only cost me $24 in all - you can't beat these prices. I'm not looking for comic books that are in perfect condition, although, most that I have received are in great condition and inside protective sleeves. I'm 54 years young and enjoying being able to buy full sets of of the classics. Great store, and I can't wait to buy my next full series.

The owner was very upset someone would want to return something. He kept saying they did not do that (which was confusing because I had already exchanged a book once, a Superman collection) and that only Amazon did that and added that it was "the stupidest thing I have heard". I told him as politely as possible to not call me stupid, and will go back tomorrow to either get my money back. Either way, it's a good store for game playing, but not comics. No one ever knows about the comics I ask for. It's terrible owner is impolite and I wonder if it was because I am latin american?
