The building is classic Wisconsin wood finished but with a modern feel to it. The interior space is clean and very inviting. The wood work is intricate. They have several dining areas, plus an upstairs space for private parties and a nice bar area to begin and end your visit. I loved all the food on both visits. On Friday they offer surf & turf. It includes a 6 ounce wagyu steak and three large grilled shrimp. The wagyu beef is sourced locally. It was all delicious. The cocktails and wine are at a higher level than other Super Clubs. The service was top notch. The owners, Jim and Kim are super friendly. Everything about Wilson Creek is exemplary. Try it some night for dinner!

We ended up using the ketchup bottles from a few tables around us and some of them were just downright foul tasting. I'm not sure what the issue is here, but definitely room for improvement. This was our first time at the Stout Ale House. I'd be willing to try it again to see if the experience stays consistent.

We brought a small bag of McDonald's in with us and after we'd been seated the manager stormed up to our table saying "we're a restaurant. You can't have outside food. You need to leave." In shock but understanding we said "we understand but our son only eats McNuggets and we're going to order." She angrily says "you need to leave. Go eat in your car". All 4 adults stood there dumbfounded and said "I'm sorry?" And again she barks "I'm not asking. I'm telling. You have to leave". We had every intention of ordering food and drinks and only needed our son to eat something. I get if you need outside food to be left outside but I've never been so aggressively approached and yelled at without giving a chance to agree to leave before being told to eat in my car and get out Never again at this place.

He was able to force down the over cooked noodles but with much regret. My son got a crispy chicken bacon sandwich and it was dripping so much grease he used a stack of napkins and couldn't finish it. The worst experience we've had and now we definitely will not be returning.
