We have yet to eat at the actual restaurant, but we had takeout the other day and it was fabulous!! We had the Prime Rib French Dip with fries - WOW. This is a must-try if you enjoy prime rib, this french dip is one of the best i've ever had. The Cuban was also very delicious and the sweet potato fries were crispy, sweet, and salty! My son loved the fries and his meal as well. Very impressed with how tasty this meal was.

"Don't be thrown off when you're greeted at the door by a rabbi that looks like Joaquin Phoenix..." SNL, Stefon Stefon: If you're looking for a bonkers dinner in Baldwin, WI, I've got just the place for you. Baldwin's hottest restaurant is Phoenix Grill. Inspired by Rob Schneider, this restaurant was built around an aquarium formerly owned by an Argentinian lionfish owner. It's got everything: Dori from "Finding Nemo", live music on the patio, a Friday night fish fry, and a gazebo that's perfect for Zha Zha Gabor's tenth wedding. Plus, you can play everyone's favorite trivia game here, "Piers Morgan or Home Alone Pigeon Lady." The restaurant went all out with their star dish, the flavorful, rich Cajun Fire Pappardelle Pasta. Tossed with grilled chicken, sausage, tomatoes, green onions, and bell peppers, it's the urgent response to all your mom's nagging "eat your veggies" messages. The pasta portions are so big that you can easily share with the weirdo in the booth behind you, if you're feeling generous. Warning: Inhaling the pasta's spicy cream sauce might dissolve your nasal septum on contact, but that's nothing a quick Tijuanan rhinoplasty can't correct. The delightfully smoky brick-oven pizza is also not to be missed after a night of trance dancing with Robert "Freddy" Englund. It's devilishly good...all soul, but no screaming meatballs. Eight-foot Tina with the pituitary gland disorder gives this restaurant 4 stars...partially because of its high ceilings. When you spot Joaquin, he answers to "Kitten".

Wow! This restaurant is big and good. They also have an event center you can rent out. I stopped in to grab some dinner for the family and it was quick and easy. The parking is big and can hold many cars so no need to worry about finding parking. Once you walk in, the great staff greets you and is ready to assist you. I ordered a kids meal and a pizza and some shrimp to go. The food was really good. The restaurant is clean and gives a very relaxing feeling. I really like this place and will be back soon.

We enjoyed our lunch at Phoenix Bar & Grill. We were driving through the area and stopped for lunch. We had the potstickers for an app, I had the Cuban, my husband had a French dip, another member of our party had a burrito bowl (omg-it was huge), and the final person had a burger. It came out quickly. The potstickers were very good! The pulled pork on the Cuban was very flavorful. Half of a sandwich was plenty-I boxed the other half. Great stop! And, they had Spotted Cow!

My soul needed some chicken alfredo, and I found exactly what I was looking for. Everything you could want out of a good chicken alfredo! I want to give 5 stars to the servers because, even through it was packed on a Friday night and they were clearly very busy with many other tables, our food came out in good time, and our drinks never ran too low.

We dined on the patio, enjoying a French Dip Sandwich (me) & a Asian Salmon Salad (my friend). It was busy but it was nice to sit outdoors and enjoy the patio. I had peppers added to the "Phoenix Sammich" making my total $17 plus tip and tax. Glad I didn't order the soup or sweet potato fries (all for uncharges). Don't get us wrong: the food was good, service was okay (since they were so busy)-even gave our waitress a substantial tip since she was working so hard. We did ask & get permission to walk around the outdoor event area next to the Phoenix. THAT was worth the additional $$$

This restaurant doesn't deserve 3.5 stars. Also, get. The. Pizza. The service was slightly above average especially considering the shortage of workers but my goodness my pizza was so good. I got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and my buddy got a buffalo chicken calzone which he said was awesome too.

We had never been to Phoenix Bar & Grill and was very impressed with the menu. A nice variety. We started with the battered shrimp, Mac and cheese bites (gouda), and pot stickers. Very good! Almost enough that we wouldn't have to order entrees. But we did already, so they're you go. Waitress could have been a bit more attentive or announce the specials without being asked. We had to flag her to get a second drink after she went by five or six times without checking. It's a busy place, though. Great food and environment.

If you use the term 'dated' often to describe furnishings that are older than five years, this isn't the place for you. Looking for bold cuisine? Not here, move along. It does appeal to us: a laid back bar, friendly and hard-working staff, and an old-fashioned restaurant (or supper club) in back, with tables and chairs from the 1970s, much to the chagrin of other critics and probably at least some HGTV addicts. It's also a fun place to watch an American sporting match, including the Packers, when they're not blacked out by the imposter surrogate purple football team. The food is good: appetizers, pizzas, as well as our favorite, the salad bar. There's not much to the salad bar: it's small, but I happen to like what they have on it, including the two types of lettuce. Tap beer is around $3 a pint as of this decade (2019) and hopefully you can enjoy a Creamy Dark, like I do. Drop in and enjoy!

This A & W location offers table service, and it is worth it versus drive-though to experience drinking your float in a frosty mug while listening to retro 50's and 60's songs, like Jailhouse Rock. While I'm not a big fan of the food here other than the cheese curds, the floats are worth the calorie splurge and entertainment value. Once you insert a straw in the ice cream mound sealing the root beer, the soda floods over the glass lava-style as if it were shaken up. It is hilarious watching people frantically trying to lap up their explosive treats like hound dogs at a pace faster than that of the overflow! The genius who crafted these floats was clearly inspired by a volcano-building science contest from their youth. Forget singing the Star-Spangled Banner...the most patriotic thing one can do when driving through Baldwin is to stop here for cheese curds and floats. I can say I've served my country well, and I've got the (root beer) mug shots to prove it. "Thank ya, thank ya very much."

I ended up getting one of their specials, the eggs Benedict, and I did clarify while ordering that I would like a soft poached egg because I'm very disappointed when it comes out with no runny yolk. Sure enough, 30 minutes later, which seemed a little bit long for a diner, our food came out and my eggs were harder than a hard boiled egg. I asked them redo the eggs only so that I could start eating my hashbrowns in the enormous slab of ham, and she said it was going to take a while. (If it takes anyone a while to poach an egg, they're probably doing it wrong.) I was able to scoop my butchered eggs off, start eating my food, and sure enough within a few minutes I had properly soft poached eggs as a replacement. I hate to be that girl, but I made it very clear on the front end that the only kind of egg that I would expect for Benedict.
