Our first trip to Menomonee WI and we had the good fortune of discovering the Log Jam restaurant downtown almost on the university campus. A real gem. The service was fast and accurate as our very friendly server NATHAN R professionally cared for us. When the food arrived quickly we were delighted to find that the items we chose were outstanding. My wife's chicken wrap was more like a log because it was so filled with the tasty ingredients. My sandwich was my first time for a BLT that had two added ingredients: an over-easy fried egg and a slice of cheddar cheese. It was delicious. In fact, I will request the egg and cheese on future BLT's. And no, the traditional BLT flavor was not overwhelmed by the added flavors, it was enhanced! All in all, our dining experience was excellent and the added bonus of reasonable prices. When we get near Menomonee we will dine here again! read more

Beautiful large outdoor space to eat, drink and pass the time. Dog friendly too. Had a tasty Bloody Mary with sizeable Spotted Cow chaser. My husband enjoyed reasonably priced dark craft beers on tap. We shared a pulled pork quesadilla that was delicious. Our young female server was excellent. Knowledgeable, capable and considerate. Great place for a dinner and drinks after moving our oldest in to college. Steps from the UW Stout campus. Wait staff was super friendly and accommodating. Fun bar/grill atmosphere, wit a nice beer garden. Pool table available. Food was good, and especially enjoyed the Old Fashioned. We ate there today and it took 40 mins to get our food and my wife's order was wrong and her chicken tenders on her melt were so dry it was like cardboard. The burger was ok. The onion rings were small and bland. The server was nice, but with so many face piercings it was hard to take her seriously. I'll give it 2 stars because it was clean and the establishment looked nice. The server blamed the wait time on all the folks that showed up 25 mins after we placed our order. We were going to go to Culver's, but wanted to try something new. We should have gone to Culver's because we would have been full and happy with the food quality. My wife came here a year ago and said that it was great. Idk what has changed since then, but $17 for a hamburger that wasn't even that good is ridiculous. Shoot, McDonald's would probably be more satisfying than this place as far as burgers go. Btw the chicken tender melt at Perkins is awesome. Way better than this place. read more

My wife and I came here on a date. We both had a burger with avocado - I don't remember what it was called, and we agreed that the patties were very average - not particularly juicy or flavorful, but they were still edible. Their fries are amazing, however. We had a Carmel Apple flavored mixed drink, which was fantastic, and the cheesecake for desert, which came with sauces dribbled over it and was delicious. The service was good. We would return, although I don't recommend their burgers. read more

Came in at 6pm. Didn't get food until 7:20 pm. Three tables that came in after us got food before us. Our fries and chips were cold. When I asked to talk to the shift manager quietly and politely she said "well stuff happens" and completely dismissed me. That is the cause of this negative review. As consultation for the long wait and horrible service the offered us one piece of chocolate cake for our party of 7. One piece of freaking cake for 7 people waiting over an hour for food. I just moved to town and will never be back. My 2 star review just went to 1 star. I just wanted respect and acknowledgment that me and my guests could have been treated better. My respect is worth more than a $6 piece of chocolate cake. read more

This place is very special! Such a great place to get together it's friends and family. The drinks are good and the food is great. We love doing the outdoor patio area. However I did not detect much seasoning, the butter packets were placed on the plate so the butter was melted. I liked that. The chicken wild rice soup had very good flavor but came to the table on the barely warm side. It was a decent amount for $7.30. I asked for a side/pop in a to go cup. They had plastic cups but no covers. Not a key point but thought I would mention it. The service by Addy M was good. So I might say 3.5 but the flavors of the food let me round up, instead of down. read more

Went to celebrate a family birthday, wanted to try a local, small/family business, that we could enjoy with a group. The place started off pretty great, got our drink order, gave us time to review the menu, then took our order. That's about as good as it got the rest of the time. Our server had to be reminded to come back to refill drinks or ask about another order. We watched our food sit on the cooks window for about 20-25 mins. We had to ask our server if the food in the cooks window was our order. She walked over and to our fears, it was our meals. We knew it was going to be cold and it was. I would not recommend this to any group larger than 1-2, very disorganized, had a dad and son experience the same wait times we were experiencing. They were smart and left after 30 mins, we should have followed. Save yourself time and the horror or this establishment, go elsewhere. read more

You are served a basket of homemade chips with a dill dip. The chips were over cooked and under salted. Food is fine, but be careful if you have a food allergy. My friend has celiac disease and made the staff aware of it twice and even asked for confirmation once her food got there, and she somehow still ended up with a normal hamburger bun. This has also happened once before, but thankfully she caught the mistake the first time. Not taking food allergies seriously seems like a poorly run business to me. read more
