Lucette Brewing has grown up! We were here 2 years ago and she has been added onto. As was made evident when we pulled up and bride and her party were getting photos taken outside. The natural fall decor was enhanced by their smiles. Flight choices were Brickyard a Red Rye IPA, Brunch a Brown Ale brewed with coffee, Slow Hand a Robust American Stout and Space is the Place a Double Oatmeal Stout. My spouse had an All about the Hustle a Cream Ale. The beers all were great and the amount of wood fired pizzas that were being made shows that they are great also. Been coming to Lucette when in Menomonie for a number of years, has always been a hit.... Until tonight. Had some old college friends up for a UW Stout hockey game and recommended we meet here for dinner. Made reservations for 5pm, game start at 7. Took 30 minutes to get our drink order ( had to remind our server we had put one in), Appiez came out an hour after we ordered, and had to cancel out pizzas as we would not have gotten them until after puck drop - two hours after our reservations!!! Apparently the cook staff was new?!?!?! Unfortunate, given the service we've experienced in past visits, especially after recommending to our out of town guests Could have been an off night. Pros: Atmosphere was clean and nice, server did a good job, wood fired pizzas were good and had a nice flavor Cons: Your food and beer tasted good, but my indigestion all night and this morning tells me different. You also added 20% tip automatically which is not the wisconsin way...a gratuity is a reward for service. It is specifically my favorite pizza place in the area - the crust is so flavorful and the combinations of pizza ingredients are creatively delicious The staff are friendly, but there can be longer waits for pizza if they're busier! Lovely brewery nestled close to Red Cedar River in Menominee- a great place to stop if you are in the area and not that far off the highway if you are driving through Wisconsin. Well worth with the stop. The beers were excellent - I sampled four on a flight. My favorite was one of their seasonal - the Leavers which is is a Franconian Red Lager. I'm not familar with that style, but I really enjoyed it. They had a big oven for woodfired pizzas. I was pleased they had a vegan pizza, which was delicious! This was the final stop on our Eau Claire Beer Crawl, and a fantastic one. The facility is surprisingly large, but the heart of it, the restaurant, has a warm and cozy vibe with a high ceiling, pretty wood, and a showcase brick oven. Also, it was fragrant of pizza, one of the best smells known to humankind. We didn't get pizza, not that we weren't tempted. This was a stop for libation and a snack before we began the hour drive home. My husband ordered the beer flight, while I had a perry from Restoration Cider. Everything was delicious. My husband's favorite beer wasn't available in cans, but he was able to get a pack of his second-favorite to take home. We ordered two pretzels as well, one for each of us. The bread was hot and soft, the dips excellent. Really, this struck me as a place I'd happily visit for a date night, which would give me a chance to try their pizza! read more

Most of the seating is upstairs. If you want to sit downstairs, only pub (tall) tables are available. Service was good, raves for the root beet. The two pizzas were not served at the same time; one "had a hole in the middle" and had to be redone which took awhile. Had to ask for plates and napkins. Pizza was ok. Toppings slightly burnt and bottom way undercooked even for New York style. I know Woodfield pizzas can be a bit inconsistent but this was too much. The taste of the toppings was generally good. The best way to summarize this place would be "ok". It's a pet big patio and tap room with a small menu of things made from pizza dough. The service was fast and friendly so no complaints there. It seems like they probably get a bit overwhelmed when it's busy, though. The taproom isn't good friendly but their patio and "big gravel area with picnic tables" are. Right off the bike trail so you can hike or bike here for a brew super easily. The beer was all pretty standard. Nothing stood out, good or bad. The pizza was also just ok. The sauce was very bright and they didn't go overboard on mozzarella, which is excellent. The pizza definitely could have used a bit longer in the oven or a hotter deck. It was very soft and was much more NY, fold and eat texture. The pretzel didn't have much flavor but was nice and soft. The mustard was a strange mix of sharp mustard seed and sweet honey but didn't mix into a single "honey mustard". The other sauce was also just ok and didn't blend super well. Overall, not bad but I wouldn't ever go out of my way to head here. read more

This was the 115th brewery my boyfriend and I have visited together, and it's definitely in the top 25%! Everything about our visit was wonderful! A great place to stop on our way from the Cities to Milwaukee! I think the outside space is under construction, because there wasn't a sign or anything to let us know we arrived! We trusted the GPS, parked in the gravel lot, and made our way inside this large establishment! The interior has lots of different spots for seating, including a bar, normal tables, and a cool loft! Sweet tile work elevates the modern barn feel. I'm always a fan of breweries that give us a peek into their production, and they do just that! Service was really friendly and timely during our stay! The beer and pizza were superb! We ordered two pizzas, and enjoyed two of their brews. Everything was absolutely delicious! Pizzas are perfect individual sizes, and each beer was only $4. So we're in town for a college visit and I see this place reviewed on Yelp and a local did recommend it. Usually I write reviews after I leave, but since I have nothing to do since my food hasn't come after 40 minutes, I'll do it now. All they make is pizza....you make one thing that takes 4 minutes to cook. They were not even at 50% capacity. The waitstaff all seemed busy and confused. It was not for being overwhelmed by customers so I blame inefficiency. I'm about to order Domino's and get 6 pack of miller lite to hold me over until the food pizza I order about an hour ago comes. If I brought my ooni oven from home I could have fed this whole place already!!! And the menus are dirty. read more

Love this brewery!! Actually more like a pizza place that calls itself a brewery...lol I've never had a bad experience here and I wish they were closer! The beer is great and the pizza is a must have. The pizza is a Neapolitan style and is better than most pizza, plus it's cooked fast in a brick oven behind the bar. They have a great outdoor seating area and it looks like they are currently upgrading with an event center or bigger restaurant. Parking is easy and there's plenty of it. Take some time and stop by, you'll become a regular. read more

Whenever I come home to Menomonie for a visit, this has become the "must stop" place for me. The pizza is brick oven and the crust is always perfectly done. Wish we could have eaten here, but when we arrived at 5:00 on a Friday, the hostess told us we couldn't sit down to eat for an hour. Apparently there were reservations at all the open tables on the main level. This is a brewery in a small town. Reservations, seriously!?!? Made a reservation on a Friday night. Pizza was decent. Service was not good though. Our waitress took a very long time to acknowledge us and give us water. Then she took very long to come back and take our order. She paid attention to one specific table the whole time, Im pretty sure it was because they were her friends. We ordered three different pizzas. A different girl dropped off our first pizza. When we asked her which pizza it was, she replied that she didnt know because they all look the same. She ended up telling us it was the muppy but it was actually the meat sweats, which we found out after she dropped off the second pizza. I liked Lucette. Beautiful, new space and they take reservations. I was so impressed by the building's exterior and interior. I think they were short staffed because we waited a longgggg time for our pizza. Pizza was fine and fairly priced. My bf hated the beer. I don't drink beer but had a couple of the bottled seltzers they offered and those were really good. Moved to Chippewa Falls, WI from Phoenix, AZ about 5 months ago. I've told people the only thing I really miss from AZ is the good pizza. I have been searching for a good pizza for 5 months. Beer and Pizza... the perfect combo! This place is really an eatery and brewery as they do brew their own beer in house! I happened to stumble on this one as we were driving back to Chicago from Minneapolis and decided we wanted to pitstop somewhere to grab a bite... and a brew since I couldn't pass up a New England Style IPA. Anyways, it's a bit off the 94 but compared to other options in the area at the time, I was more than willing to make the drive out. Their pizza is made in a wood fire oven and comes out perfectly crispy. I love a well done thin crust pizza! Their muppy pizza ~ crimini mushrooms, pepperoni, fennel sausage, mozzarella ~ did not disappoint. The taste and quality of the ingredients was excellent! In terms of beer, several different style available. Of course the New England Style IPAs caught my eye and of course not available for tasters due to the high demand for them. As vegans, places like Menomonie Wisconsin can be tough. Lucette took all our worries today. Our server was fabulous. We ordered pretzels as an app and they were amazing. Each of us (5) ordered a different pizza and no one complained. My husband ordered Herbie and he said it was the best vegan pizza he's had in his life. The kiddo in our group (11yo) also loved her Margarita pizza. Don't get the cherry cider unless you like things very sour. read more

Came by with a group as we were visiting a friend in Wisconsin. Loved the atmosphere and the actual venue. There was plenty of seating available and there are two levels. We didn't order pizza but it did smell really good. There was a group of 7 of us so we tried a variety of beers on the menu. We didn't like a single beer! One of our friends got a cider and they only had cherry available - it tasted like medicine. It was very disappointing and actually a bit surprising! When my wife and I pulled in to Lucette Brewing, we thought it was a good chance to try out a new brewery along with some pizza. Little did we know, the chef is a Neapolitan style pizza master! It was one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. I admire someone who brings food excellence to a small town instead of heading to a big city. They know that people will come if the food is good enough. The country views from the patio made the pizza and beer experience even more memorable. The first thing we noticed was that the building had no signage - but it did not disappoint! The pizza was some of the best I have had, and the beer was excellent. They have a disclaimer on the menu about being short staffed - but the service was quite good. The construction is ongoing, but the building is really cool with an industrial feel. This is a good place to meet with friends or just a quick bite and a beer at the bar. The menu has some great pizzas which are wood fired and nicely executed and delicious. The beer? Well...we all like different things, they have quite a variety on tap. I think their beers are good, but perhaps not destination worthy. I really like the Harmonia IPA. Last night I had the Loggers Lager, it was ok. The Timber Cruiser 2.0, it was ok. And the Birkie Brewski...again ok. I recommend the Kurve, a kolsch style, to some co-workers that like a lighter style beer. It is really good. Tastes like summer. The service at the bar is fantastic. The service on the mezzanine was a little off last night. We had a group of 12, and we didn't all get there at the same time. Some had to go to the bar to get their own drinks. One pizza was forgotten and the waitress didn't realize it. It's a nice atmosphere and a unique spot in the area, so I will definitely go back. The wood fired pizza oven is the center piece of the place. The northern section of the building is the actual brewery. In nicer weather there is adequate outdoor seating and the building is adjacent to the Red Cedar bike trail. read more

They were out of one of the toppings but the server recommended a great alternative and I think it might have been better than the original. My root beer was perfect after a long bicycle ride on the Red Cedar Trail (trailhead right by the brewery). Of course, my significant other would extol the merits of Lucette's beers. Visited this small town to visit a friend. Being a small town and being a foody asked my friend a good place to eat. Blank stare lol- being a college town there should be a dive joint the students go to which is what I was looking for. But only see bars and a few odd places on the map. Looked up places to eat on Yelp and saw a pizza joint that had a great picture of a stone bake pizza - this was the joint. Was seated upstairs which are dominated with large wooded tables and benches and small one with seats. Upstairs more for large parties or personal dinners. Downstairs more lively and loud. Not a dive joint but a brewery that only serves pizza. Good choice of hazy IPAs in the menu. Settle with the easy rider ipa which paired up with the meat sweats pizza. Perfect match - great stone baked pizza more on the this crust which I like. Location is a bit in the outside of town but well worth the trip. Great company and great pizza. Well done ! read more
