It's pretty good pizza. I'm not going to say it's the best, because I haven't tried every pizza place around....yet. I ordered a pizza for carry out just before they close mid week in August. It was ready when I walked in. I got one of the signature pizzas. It was hot and delivered as ordered. I ate about half of it on the way home to Eau Claire. This is a must when in Menomonie. I started going there when I was at UW- Stout in the 90's. It's been almost 25 years since I have been there. It's still the same great food as I remember. We always drove to Ted's from Chippewa Falls for their delicious pizza. The last two times we were there the pizza had very little sauce or cheese and had burned crust. To be honest I'm not a big fan of their pizza, don't get me wrong it good pizza but it's not to my personal taste however the pasta wings and subs are heavenly. The service is good it's just like your normal restaurant, the place has a like Italian and Ancient Greek vibe to it. A hometown favorite with some classics. The pizza is always good with a wide variety of flavors, or choose your toppings build it the way you like it. I am a fan of the Gyro's as they have great seasoning and offer homemade taziki sauce that is wonderful and worth getting extra. Ted's is my go to place for great pizza. The crust is thin and handmade, the sauce is tangy, the cheese is gooey, and it all comes together in an explosion of tastiness. There's nothing fancy about the dine in experience and that is fine. I'm there for the pizza and they do a bang up job with that. The staff is friendly and prompt and the waitresses are attentive. I don't think I've ever had to ask for a refill as they see the need before I do and come with the next glass before the first one is empty. Can't beat that for service. This place is great for pizza and such. It is the best pizza place in town as far as I am concerned. It is right downtown and near the Stout University campus so it can be a student hangout at times. Stranded truck driver!! So I called Ted's Pizza today and ask them if they deliver they said they do but not 7 miles away. I was trying to explain to the gentleman on the phone that I was only 7 miles away. I continue to tell the gentleman that my truck was broke down I'm a truck driver I'm not gonna be able to leave to go get any food until 10 o'clock tonight when my trucks ready I'm just a hungry truck driver. Ted's doesn't cater to the bar crowd and they lose some demographic that way, but they have superior pies. Ted's serves authentic Greek style pizza pies. Paper thin crusts cut into squares with plenty of greasy cheese melted on top and the toppings tucked under the cheese layer. They have other tasty menu items like boneless wings, pastas and sandwiches. Ted's has great prices, and specials every day of the week. I love Ted's and always order from there, not 'that other pizza place' down the street on Main. This is a great place for families/large groups. We're new to the area, and wanted to be sure to check out what Menomonie had as far as pizza. We sat in a booth that was more than roomy enough for three people. I had a beer (New Glarus' Spotted Cow) that I thought was a bit pricey for the amount I received (small mug for $3.50), even if it is a WI indie brew. We ordered garlic bread for an appetizer, and it was basically Texas Toast (but still good). Two of us (and a toddler) split a large pizza, which had extra cheese, and 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 green olives. The sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the crust extremely thin (crispy on the edge, and extremely soft/limp on the inside. In the end, the food didn't scream AMAZING, but it got the job done, especially for the price (Saturday special was Large 2-topping for $12.50). Would I go here again? Definitely. Have I found my favorite pizza place in the area? I hope not. read more

While passing through town it was time for a quick meal. Thought Ted's did a nice enough job. The pizza could have been charred just a bit more for my taste, but it was competent 'Midwestern style' pizza that was good. The Greek Salad would have been better if it had been dressed versus dressing-on-the-side (one of my personal pet peeves). The room's a bit cavernous, or at least it seemed so on a slow Wednesday night. But, the dining area was nice and clean, and the kitchen is out for all of us to see (and also looked nice and clean). Great place!!! Always so kind when I come in. Great food!!! Come here a lot, they care so much for their costumers it's amazing. Pizza is my favorite thing to get .. They ended up cooking my a bit longer and giving it to me. I didn't care really cause it was still good and the waiter said "I'm sorry you said you wanted it not all done" And I said it's okay, they insisted to make me a other (on the house) also got some JoJo's.. I get my new pizza, I just box that up. I go pay and they gave me both my pizzas for free. You guys really didn't have to do that, but it amazes me how you make sure every costumer is happy even if it gonna cost you sometimes haha. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Floppy super thin excuse for crust. Very disappointing for the #2 Pizza restaurant in Menomonie! The crust has a absolutely no rise to it and its floppy and undercooked. We had the thin crust because that is our usual preference. The pepperoni is also super thin and placed under the cheese and very sparse! The sauce and cheese are tasty but that's all I can say positive about it. I found it a rip off for what you get. read more
