If there's a rule you've been looking for or need some inspiration this is the place you. They have vast selection of files to chose from and the displays will give you some ideas if needed. Remodeled one of our bathrooms. We have purchased from the Tile Store several times before, but I never will again. One of the items I ordered, was not shipped (a glass shelf for the niche). I didn't notice until it was too late so I had to tile without it. When I wen to return the left over tile the refused to take an open box with 22 of 25 tile still in the box. The order says I paid $7.56 per tile not $189 per box. So I was forced to bring home $166.32 worth of useless tile. To make the situation even worse, I returned 2 bags of grout that I had purchased just the day before. I paid $14.69 per bag on Tuesday but only received $12.49 per bag returned on Wednesday. Now the $4.40 difference isn't a lot of money, but based on the fact that the salesman said "there is nothing I can do about that" means that they will never get my business again. Next tile job I'll buy from Lowe's or Home Depot. read more

I've been contemplating a tile backsplash in my kitchen for some time. But I've had a hard time finding places to actually look at, touch, and feel tile. Enter The Tile Shop! This place is huge! Whether you are looking for tile for a kitchen or bathroom project, or some other part of your house - there is something for everyone! So many patterns, styles, colors, and materials! Plus they have lots of mock kitchen and bathroom demos - all tiled up so you can see what it might look like! I've not made my final decision as to what I am going to do in the kitchen - but because of The Tile Shop - I am now leaning heavily toward one of their Slate tile products. read more

My wife and I used stone from The Tile Shop to spruce up our fireplace. As we neared the end of our project we realized that we miscalculated and were not going to have enough to finish up the project. None of the local locations had the stone in stock and it would be up to 6 weeks before more came in locally. We were offered to have the stone shipped from a NC location by FedEx if we paid shipping. Not the most cost effective solution but for $75 shipping we were able to complete the project in a timely manner thanks to their suggestion. We ordered extra and as they told us, full boxes would be returnable, we returned the extra unopened boxes without any issue. We are very happy with the fireplace refresh and the stone and service from The Tile Shop. read more

My fiance and I had a great experience at The Tile Shop in Manassas. We went in on a week night to look at tile for our bathroom remodel. A salesman named Aaron offered to help show us around. My fiance and I both have a construction background but neither of us knew much about tile. Aaron was not only a salesman but he also installed it for a living so he had a lot of knowledge about looks, installation, and design. He spent hours helping us get the right look for the right price. There was no rushing and he would provide examples throughout the process to help us envision what our new bathroom would look like. The prices are very reasonable and they have a great selection to chose from. We tried to go through home depot but they are not nearly as knowledgeable and their selection leaves a lot to be desired. We could not be happier with our experience at The Tile Shop. I highly recommend you ask for Aaron if you need help understanding or designing your next tile project! read more

I was ready to buy. $2300 in tile and trim for a bathroom. More than I expected but he said he could take 10% off since I was a veteran. He went on to say if you order today we will have it Thursday and you need to pick it up right away so it doesn't get damage or lost or sold. I said then I will hold off until next week since I will be out of town. The salesman said he could take another 10% off if I order now. Reminding him I will not be able to pick the tile up for over a week. He responded that's okay we will hold the tile for you. But you said I have to pick it up right away. He got upset and and was very rude from them on. I realize that he must get a commission and wants to close the sale. But now I have lost trust. He doesn't listen and his story changes. I was set to come back. But the experience with the salesman was irritating at the end. But I now decided to shop around. Niche prices are decent. Wall tile special ordered elsewhere is 45% less but take 10 days. Trim marble pieces are also less elsewhere by $3 to $5 per piece. Overall $1800 (with the one time only offer for a discount that day) at the tile shop and it takes 3 days to get every thing Other place $1500 and it takes 10 days to get everything. Since I'd like to get this work done now I will go to another Tile Shop. Reading the review from the other Tile Shop makes me not want to step foot in any Tile Shop read more

The staff was helpful and they had a great selection. They helped me out even though I was only there to buy six tiles and they couldn't possibly have made any real money off of it. Prices were a little higher than Home Depot, but that's expected for a specialty store. read more

I was told at purchase that any unused tile would be re credited. After making a 35 mile trip to the store I was told only full boxes are refundable. Be cautious on their refund policy. What one sales person tells you is not supported by another and maybe even get their refund policy writing. read more

The Tile Shop is the place to start if you're looking to just get ideas OR if you're ready to take the plunge and make your bathroom your own! We've worked with Phil @ the Manassas Tile Shop over the past 6-8 months or so as we gutted and redid our master bath. He was great to work with - - - and it seems like everyone there really knows tile. We highly recommend going by this (or any of the) Tile Shop(s).... we've been to the one in Sterling, Tyson's, and Springfield - all big huge stores with great examples of tiled bathrooms/kitchens to look at. Stay away from this store. They will not deliver products on time ! They have a good selection and reasonable price. But when you order them, they don't come on time. I ordered my tiles and made arrangements with the contractor and took couple of days off from office. They couldn't deliver the tiles the day that they promised. In fact, they had no idea when the order will arrive. Their standard lie is truck broke down on the way and they cannot track it ! Very unhappy with the way they handled my situation. I will not recommend anyone to go there. read more
