I just got my eyebrows done here. I told the threader that I just wanted to clean my eyebrows and tried to emphasize to them that I did not want my eyebrows any thinner. When the threader finished, one of my eyebrows looked noticeably thinner and misshapen than it originally looked, and I mentioned it. The owner or manager told me that I did not have to pay, which was generous but I did not feel comfortable not paying. When I came home, I simply asked my roommate, "What do you think of my eyebrows?" She pointed at the one eyebrow I was unhappy with and noticed the same changes I did. This further validated to me that this was an objective change to my eyebrow. I suggest that if you do come here, please give very clear and detailed instructions, make sure they understand, and monitor the threading through the process (always better to have them do less first and then thread more if needed-- you can always take away more hair, you can't grow it back right away). I say this as someone who has been to many threading places before and usually does not provide oversight during the process. But I feel you might need it here. read more

Mitali has been doing my eyebrows for almost a year now and they always look perfect. She listens to exactly what you want and is very thorough. She is very responsive for appt requests (I've been using Instagram), and the salon feels especially safe and clean since she has reopened (although it's always looked spotless). I've been coming to Mitali at this location for over a year, and I have never had a single complaint. Her salon is always impeccable, clean, sanitary, and welcoming -- and that was even before the pandemic. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded and have gotten waxes done by her, and she takes her time and makes sure you are happy with her results. I actually came in to get my nails done (Raybella operates inside the threading house for now), but figured that I might well get all the way pretty by getting the brows done. Mitali is super sweet and did a very nice job. I'm not overly picky about my eyebrows, I just asked for a bit of an arch and that they would not be too thin. Mission accomplished! Love this place! I've been looping for a threading place since I've moved to Chicago and this is it! Such a cute shop and very hygienic. She wore a mask the whole time and there's a note outside the door that one is required to wear one before you enter. She also offered my hand sanitizer before and after doing my brows. Overall, great experience! The woman who did my brows, who I'm assuming was the owner, took time to ask me what I wanted to do and she was so gentle! I have been seeing Mitali for the last 2 years now. There is NO OTHER person I can trust with my brows. Trust me, once I went to where she used to work and she wasn't there!!! It was the worst.
