It got sold and reopening as the outpost. Looks like good place to grab a drink. Good amount of boat parking

It looks…read moreso unassuming from the outside, but having tried several menu items, you can't go wrong. My favorite is the chicken philly cheesesteak. There's such a great option of beers and wines and the service is always outstanding. It's a little out of nowhere for us, but we look forward to every visit!

Some call it a dive bar, some are more generous; are there sticky tables, servers with tattoos, a busy bar were suds and cheaper whiskey prevail, and original paint? You bet! Let's get to the food. Lucky's menu features a variety of burgers, salads, wings, hotdogs and sides. Don't expect beer on tap, but an extensive selection of bottled beer should satisfy most folks. We ordered a Black and Blu burger with onion straws and a patty melt with fries. From the time we walked in until our food arrived probably took about 25 minutes. That was our own fault as we took way too long deciding what to order. When our food arrived, I immediately dug into the well constructed burger. I could barely open my mouth wide enough. And the taste? Very tasty. My wife enjoyed her patty melt--a burger on marbled rye with cheese and cooked onions that holds up surprisingly well! My onion straws were crunchy and sweet. Fries weren't great, but all in all an enjoyable burger experience. Oh, did I mention entertainment? Well on Tuesdays you can grab a free bingo card and try your luck winning a gift card! Try Lucky's today!

Your server can really make or break your experience…read more Let's start with the good. The views from this place are absolutely incredible. Docking the boat and grabbing some food and beer while the sun is setting, is such a vibe (as the kids say). However, having an inattentive server that doesn't check on you, while you wait 70 min for your food on a kinda busy Wednesday night. To me that is unacceptable. By the time I got my food, after 70 min wait, it was wrong. To the restaurants credit, the manager did offer to make me a fresh burger. At that point I lost my appetite. I was so disappointed! Will I be back...maybe? I'm not itching to go back any time soon though . And if you have or know someone with a boat you can get these views in a lot of other places on the lake. The one aspect that is egregious and I can't overlook is $12 for a side salad with a sprinkle and I mean a sprinkle of chicken ($6 upcharge!!!). You would never be able to tell that there was chicken on there unless someone told you. Views- 5 stars Food - 3 (mid but passable. Not from me since my order was wrong.) Service- 1 (only because the manager was gracious enough to offer to cook the meal again) 3 stars- come for the views, grab a drink and don't rely on your server.

Great service. The food was hot, made to order & tasty. Very cool place. We will be back next time…read morewe are in town.

Service was…read morequick despite the crowd, and the big juicy burger and fries were delicious, it's a lot of food for about a typical gourmet burger price. I like the old buildings downtown. Parking was its usual Broad Street challenge, yet once inside there was plenty of space and an easygoing rhythm to the dining room. The only real hiccup was the slightly counterintuitive flow of things, since you order first and then find a seat, and I wasn't the only one who walked in and paused awkwardly until someone pointed out the process. I've said for a while that you should stick to what a place is named for, because ordering chicken wings at a pizza shop or a barbecue joint has burned me more than once, but tonight I ignored that rule and it turned out to be the right call. Mrs. K took down my side of fries with enthusiasm while I focused on the wings, meaty and generously sauced, the kind you finish without a second thought and then sit back with a local beer feeling like you made exactly the right choice. Every single one was worth it, no regrets at all, a small delight tucked inside a busy Augusta evening. I did see two of those massively stacked burgers get delivered to another table and while I was a little jealous, I know that having it without the bun wouldn't have honored it the way it should be. Maybe when I'm not on keto. [Review 228 of 2026 - 928 in Georgia - 25417 overall]
