I am so shocked I didn't give this review when I was sitting at the table. I heard about this place from a friend of mine who we were supposed to visit together, but just never got around to it. Since this year I am trying to get out a lot more. I came across it when I was just bored in the city and was like hey I like the crafted drinks that they have to offer. I'm gonna go try this establishment. One of the things I wish they had was food options. I wished we were able to eat a little bit there because that was part of the reason that we went however, I love the craft that they had as far as the drinks and the choices that they had the ambience was so beautiful. I cannot wait to return when the patio is open so I can sit outside or maybe even in one of the vans and just enjoy the scenery

Food: 1M drinks Service: 1M Ambiance: 2M On our weekly Wednesday Nights out, we decided to try Third Door Down! And boy are we happy we did! We tried 4 of their signature drinks. I can only remember the lemon drop martini! You can choose anything and they will all be good! On Wed nights local artist perform their music! I loved it!!!! We will definitely be back. Z

I stopped by here for a college event and am so happy to have attended! I had no idea this speakeasy existed until I came to this event. The entrance is off to the side, and there is plenty of seating outside and inside as well. Their inside space is private and can be closed off like it was for this event. I really liked the variety of drinks on the menu including nonalcoholic beverages! I went with the bearcat which came highly recommended and was garnished with mint. There are also a few food items on the menu if you want to snack on something. They do have live music and there is a parking lot located across from this place, but it does fill up quickly. Definitely recommend coming by here and I can't wait to try more of their nonalcoholic cocktails!

Came here randomly last night because we were in the area and had heard good things. They have a seasonal list of craft cocktails, as well as a couple of mocktails and the ability to make a lot of classic cocktails with their full bar as well. I got the Let The Night BeGin (Gin, Herbal Liqueur, Montenegro, Orange, Bitters Blend) which was very herby and despite having gin, was very reminiscent of an old fashioned. My friend got the Thru Hiker (Gin, Fennel, Lime, Thyme Syrup) which smelled like lasagna bc of the thyme syrup. It was a very savory cocktail that tasted like being in an Italian deli. Very unique! My other friend got the Port Of Call (Rye, Apple, Madeira, Cinnamon, Pomegranate) which tasted like an adult apple cider in the best way. We sat out in the little mini RV they have out back (it had heaters and blankets!) and it was quite the vibe. Fun place!

We went to Third Door last night, and had an amazing experience, as always! The service was fantastic, the drinks were tasty, and the band was great. They were taking requests for songs, so that was really fun. If you're there during the live music, they do add a $5 cover to your tab. The drinks we tried this time were Home Sweet Home and Gatecrasher. Then we ordered a second drink based off of our server's recommendation, so I don't know what mine was called, but it was a very sweet drink served with champagne on the side.

The Third Door is a great vibe! My friend and I wanted to get some drinks so I yelped and The Third Door had such wonderful reviews. We were in the Cumberland Mall area so it didn't take us long to get to Marietta. When we walked in we were greeted with a friendly welcome and told we could sit anywhere. So we opted to sit in the garage area. A little fun fact about this place, it used to be a gas station and was converted into this amazing craft cocktail bar but they kept the original layout, which I think is quite charming. I ordered the Spritz and Giggles and helped my friend finish off her drink, whose name escapes me but see pics attached. The Spritz and Giggles is a very refreshing drink, especially if you like bubbles. It is light and airy and not overpowered by the Gin or Bubbly which is hard thing to accomplish. It makes for an excellent Spring/Summer cocktail. I truly enjoyed both drinks and would love to try more of their drink menu. Let me say that the service here is top notch. Ki is an amazing craftswoman and is one of the best mixologists I've met in the Atlanta area. She's friendly and shows true passion for what she does and it shines through in her cocktails. And to add to that, Coti (pronounced Cody) was a an amazing server. His vast knowledge of the cocktails, liquor, and ingredients make your visit more that worth it. He makes you want to be a regular and if I lived closer I would definitely make this place my go to for afterwork drinks or pregame before a meal. And if they were able to serve food, I would be here at least once a week. They do offer chips to go with your cocktail but even still this place is a great place to unwine, pun intended. The next time I'm in the Marietta area I will certainly make a stop into The Third Door.

The hubs and I used to live in a hot spot in Austin, TX that was a wildly popular spot for craft cocktail bars and swanky restaurants. The Third Door would neatly stack up nicely to their collection of craft cocktail bars, but selfishly, now that we're back "in the burbs," I feel like this is the closest thing we've got. That's said without snark or disdain. Better yet, now that we're lowly parents trying to navigate "the burbs" with a toddler in tow, my biggest love about this place is their patience for our little one. Craft, unique cocktails, totally for the win. Caring. Adorable staff for the win - definitely. Our daughter dotes on Patrick and also will call out Cody's name any time we can walk past the bar! That's all to say because the staff are insanely attentive, intelligent and accommodating. As locals, we're proud to make this our "regular" spot. Furthermore, I adore what they've done to acclimate themselves to the "neighborhood". Just recently, they invited all of the all-star bartenders from the Marietta Square area to compete in a cocktail takeover, which I think is such an amazing way to be the "new kids" while trying to assimilate all of the locals. Seriously brilliant. Beyond that, I freaking love that they're taking over their own menu this month (December) to celebrate the season. They're forgoing their regular menu to highlight one of my favorite Christmas movies, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Check it out, because they're envisioning perfection.

Mezcal mango drink in front. Drink with thyme in back. Both great.

Really cute bar on the square. Love the covered patio for rainy spring nights. Service was friendly and attentive. Drinks were good. Not very strong but good. The cocktail menu is pretty limited for today's speakeasy. There are only 6-7 cocktails on the menu. Yes, there's a full bar where they can make anything, which is rad. But as someone who likes to experiment with different cocktails, I'd appreciate a larger menu. 3 stars is not a bad rating. This bar is definitely worthy of a stop in. It just didn't blow me away. A solid choice, though, especially for Marietta.

Back here again after a long time. Always so good. Tried the Missons Revival 2.0 and the Don't Be A Square. Delicious. Great vibe and live musicians.

I'm leaving this because what I saw doesn't line up with that review at all. The group that was eventually asked to leave came in clearly intoxicated and immediately made another table uncomfortable. When they were told the table wasn't interested in being social, the intoxicated group sat down at a table directly across from them and continued making loud, inappropriate comments. The other table appeared visibly distressed and were clearly trying to keep to themselves. Staff initially tried to calm things down and keep everyone there. When the behavior continued and escalated, they made the right call and asked the disruptive group to leave. You could feel the room relax once they were gone. Unfortunately, situations like this happen sometimes when alcohol is involved. From where I was sitting, the staff handled a tense situation professionally and fairly. I've been going to Eleanor's for over a decade and have always found the staff to be kind, attentive, and respectful. This review doesn't reflect what I personally witnessed that night.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

Our total was $71.60 with tax for 4 drinks. Each drink was about $16. Pros Loved the decor and the drinks were great! Not too much juice and just enough alcohol. Cons $16 a drink can rack up pretty quickly if you're a heavy drinker. Would I Recommend: Yes! Based on the drinks I would definitely recommend this place. This year the drinks were blah, the food was mediocre, the vibe was non-existent, and the service was the bare minimal. I have been to other pop-ups this year and would recommend any of them over this include Rreal Taco down the street or Hamp & Harry's or even just picking up the Grinch Happy Meal at McDonald's. Pros: Parking onsite, Reservations (sort of), friendly host (best part of the experience) and server (but absent), nice decorations. Cons: Expensive, boring drinks, overcooked and poorly plated food, not a lively nor festive vibe, poor communication and customer service. Even though this is the only pop-up pre-charging for their event and it was significantly more than a year ago, we liked having a booked time and it was a great experience previously so we booked in early November, but within an hour of booking, we had to adjust the time via OpenTable to a couple hours later. Faster forward to two days before our booking. Confirmations comes in and we notice it is the old time. Called, left messages, send messages through multiple means. Zero response. Called the next day and finally reached the manager who said that the time we wanted wasn't available even though it was the day before so took a later option at 730. Arrive on time but they don't have a table. While waiting they seat us in another area and offer extras since they are late...but they bring chips and salsa 30 mins after 730 when we were supposed to be seat 10-15 mins after we arrive. No waters or anything. Bring complementary margaritas at 810 but only 4 and there are 6 of us. The waitress was dismissive and there was no one else in the bar when we got there. Finally seated at 830 even though they are timed reservations and said they were going to be asking people to wrap within 15 mins of 730. Food was so basic and slapped on the table. Drinks were not festive at all. Ran out of hot chocolate. No festive cups or anything. It was the most mediocre experience I have had. Skip it!
