Lemon and lime seltzer drink, wedged potatoes, string beans, rice with peppers and chicken skewers.

This was my first dining at Park Bench Battery. My employer had a fundraiser event there. They had Southern charm food such as fried tomato sliders, potato wedges, string beans, etcThe drinks made and provided by the establishment were beer, wine and the famous cyclone drink. Since I am not a drinker, I requested a virgin Daiquiri, the bar tender made me a seltzer drink with lemon and lime. It was quite refreshing. The ambiance was nice for a bar without a smoking atmosphere. The dual piano entertainment was lovely as well. As this was an event that was catered, I enjoyed the restaurant.

Came here at the beginning of August 2021 when Atlanta Braves A-List members were invited to enjoy free food and entertainment at Park Bench Battery prior to a Braves home game. We had to RSVP quickly because slots for admittance to this event were very limited, and we made the cut. The Braves' organization sales reps were at the entrance of Park Bench to check off the A-List members' names on the admittance list, and we were given a couple of tickets for canned beers, which we both used at the bar staffed with many bartenders. Attendees ordering mixed drinks had to pay for their drinks. The main event area was kind of small for the amount of people admitted, and there weren't enough high top tables and high stools for everyone, so most of the people stood. After we went to the next room, which was a lot smaller than the main event room, we got into line for the catered food, which were build your own tacos with tortillas, cheese, salsa, and rice and beans. We walked back to the big main event room and I found some counter space at a column and two tall stools for us. Our food was very good. Our location was perfect, because we had a great view of the Dueling Pianos show that started soon after we started eating. The two guys, each playing grand pianos on the stage, took turns being the lead piano player/singer. They didn't have a set playlist, but, instead, took requests (with accompanying tips) from the A-Listers who wrote down titles of songs on pieces of paper and put them into a jar on one of the pianos. The live entertainment was fun and enjoyable, and some of attendees went to the open floorspace in front of the stage and danced during the danceable songs. The piano players/singers didn't have great voices, but they sure did a great job tickling the ivories! I noticed that they both had a little help from their electronic tablets for the lyrics that they sang (and possibly looking up sheet music?). Anyhow, they ended their set so that all of us attendees could leave to attend the game. Great event!

Came here after a Braves game one day and had such a great time! The bartenders were quick with taking and fulfilling orders. There was a band performing when we arrived, and they performed covers of 90s songs that I love! Such a great party environment!

I got the chance to visit the Coca-Cola Roxy to see Miguel in concert for his Caos Tour earlier…read morethis month, and I was not disappointed. It is located in The Battery and is surrounded by various other bars and eateries. So, it's a great spot to make a whole night of. The overall venue was quite spacious, despite the massive crowd that attended the concert that evening. The security check process was efficient and, honestly, pretty quick considering the LONG line. This event was not seated, so it was standing room in the main open (ground) floor area. Seats were available for purchase at the upper level (or for VIP, but do not quote me on this). Even though it was standing room, I still had a solid view of the artist(s) once they came on stage to perform. The acoustics were GREAT! All performers were clear of sound, and there were very minimal audio issues. My friend and I were near one of the bars near the venue entry and bathroom area, so we had easy access to all points. Price points for food, snacks, and drinks were a bit high, but that is to be expected in these types of venues. I typically try to eat prior to avoid spending extra money on snacks that are upcharged. The specialty cocktails were also on the pricer side, but the upside is that they came in a cute container that you could keep and take home as a souvenir (or at least that is what I did). As far as parking goes, it looked like it was a challenge. However, I cannot speak fully to it as my friend, and I got dropped off and picked up by another friend. Traffic in and out of the area was a challenge, but again, it's to be expected when there are games or other concerts / major events occurring. All in all, for my first concert experience at this venue, I truly enjoyed myself. I would definitely go back, and I'd like to see how the experience is when it is a seated event.

This is a small music hall or concert venue. But I like it because there are no bad seats, unless…read moreyou're on the right facing the stage behind a large square pillar. Every year for 8 years I've said whenever Miguel goes on tour, I'm going to see him. The crowd for this was 3 times the size of the venue so I'm not so sure where they all went. I don't like the idea of standing room only. The concert got interrupted twice for ppl passing out. My boyfriend paid too much money for last minute tickets to be seated up top to deal with interruptions. Miguel is so good he recovered fine, but it still was annoying. It's also a scam because even though you pay for seated tickets, they claim you still have to wait in the "general standing population line" which is insane. I kid you not, the line! Length of a football field or as far as I could see. So guess what, he paid another $80! for fast pass entry on top of already paying $300+ each for tickets. Come on now! Plus! $35 to park? This is why I stop going to Cobb. Insane price gouging. And I love going to braves games in the summer. And I really like The Battery, but this was a lot. We sat in row "A" directly in the center of the venue facing the stage which was nice. There was no one in front of us. They have no projectors, so if you can't see, you'll need to be on the right or left closest to the stage up top, or standing room only on the floor. Overall, any other act I would probably be mad, but the show was so good Miguel's performance made the great. Only other gripe is the show was short to me. Lastly, I have no clue what happened with gps or if CCR was ever associated with downtown Atlanta, but I've never noticed the Coca Cola Roxy at Truist Park. I've never been to this venue until now, so it didn't occur that it was in the Battery on Cobb pkwy. The map took us to 65 Trinity Ave SW. I was so annoyed. Luckily it was early enough before the show to account for all this error like parking, driving another 30mins from downtown, and figuring out the bogus line. I was not going to be late. If someone you want to see is performing here, get the tickets early and do pay over $150. That's about the value this was worth for me.

We celebrated our anniversary here while we were in Atlanta. We also purchased tickets to see Tony…read moreTerry which was amazing!! Parking is a bit tight since it's in a strip mall area with other popular attractions like a cigar lounge so get there early! The food was AMAZING!! The cornbread waffles were delicious and not too sweet. The drinks were perfect and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The ambiance was nice until the concert started which was to be expected. We were able to enjoy our dinner prior to the show starting which was a plus! Will DEFINITELY return next time we're in the area!!

They have a Unisex bathroom when tou walk in to the right and then they have one in the room where they have the shows. They have a nice bar and waiting area. If you are looking for a venue that provides intimate entertainment then this is a place to visit. The acoustics, sound system, lighting & table set up are great. Its a lot of space to get up, dance & walk around. The tables are not on top of one another it is good for groups. The music sounds great as well. Now let me get to the food. My friend has been here several times and said the food is normally good, however, today it was subpar. I had all sides and every one was horrible the Sweet Potato Souffle had no seasoning it was very bland, kind of loose and tasted like water, it had no vanilla, cinnamon or nutmeg. I was glad they made the greens with Turkey however, it was a bit salty and the greens were extremely soft, the Mac n' cheese was a miss they were bland & had no taste at all, lastly the Garlic Mashed Potatoes didn't have a lick of garlic, they were also bland & stiff, I had to ask for butter to help loosen them up. The lamp chops were brought to the table cold which took away from being able to enjoy them. One thing I will say the entertainment is what will bring me back the food I will definitely be hesitant to order anything, they do have a $10 minimum order which is great and an automatic 20% Gratuity is added to every check. Also, I did mention this to the server who had the Mgr come speak to us, the Mgr did do right by us and discounted our bill by 50% as we left half the food on the table. Overall I would have given 2 stars if this was a review for food only. But since I was really there for the entertainment they will get 4 stars. 4

So I went a couple times, it's a cool little vibe. It may not be my kind of vibe all the time…read morebecause it is very active, but with the right crowd it's actually pretty good. Here's what I mean, it's a cowboy bar, whatever that means lol. So this spot is very vast and has a lot of different areas. So you may see a stage performance by somebody dancing on stage doing some line dances. You may see somebody riding a mechanical bull on the other side of the room. You may see the bar full of people with cowboy has. It will see a lot LOL. Thought it was cool, you have to walk up some steps which I have no idea how drunk people make it up and down LOL. But you make us the top of the steps today. Typically will check you at the top to make sure you're not bringing anything in. The barge right there, it's a very nice size bar, but if you don't want to wait at that bar or if it's too crowded, you can wait at other areas within the facility. Everybody is still very cool and friendly No matter where you go. This is in the battery so you have to pay for battery prices. So the first 2 hours are free. So just keep that in mind, if you want to stay longer, it's going to be more but you should need more than 2 hours. This kind of spot anyway but it is really a good time if you just want to colouse a little bit. Last time I was there, they did every hustle and lying dance. You could possibly name within an hour lol.

I went to Soho Lounge for a girls' night with friends and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised…read more I am usually a little hesitant about lounges but this is easily one of the better ones in the Atlanta area. Parking One of the first things I appreciated was the parking situation. You actually have options here. Valet was twenty dollars which I chose, or you can park for free yourself. A lot of lounges make you pay for parking so I thought this was a nice touch. Atmosphere and Seating I found the lounge through a quick Google search and was drawn in by the fact that they had both a live band and the legendary DJ Frank Ski performing that night. The vibe is definitely mature with people dressed in linen suits, nice dresses and heels. I did not make a reservation and arrived about forty five minutes after opening. At that point the bar was already full and the only free option was a shared section for walk-ins. Honestly it worked out well. The section easily fit twelve to fifteen people and we had more than enough space. I strongly recommend making a reservation if you want your own table. Food and Drinks The menu is pretty limited but I split the seafood plate with a friend. It came with fried catfish, shrimp, and potato rounds. Everything was hot, well seasoned, and came out quickly. For drinks I had two French 75s with cognac and they were made perfectly balanced and smooth. Service Our server Taya was wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and patient with all of our questions. The only hiccup was with the hookah service. On the refill the hookah was not pulling correctly and it took a little back and forth before they swapped it out. Once it was fixed we were good to go. Overall Between the live entertainment, great drinks, solid food, and attentive service I had a really good time. I would definitely come back, especially with a reservation in place.
