Where do I start! Since my wife and I's repeated calls to management and every option listed on voice mail for this facility have gone unanswered. Maybe this will get your attention. On Nov 19th my wife and I attended an event hosted by her colleagues at Live! At the Battery Atlanta. We arrived about 15 minutes after the event started, as we walked into the facility we noticed a line of about 12-15 or more people standing single file from the bar into the seating/dining area. We politely asked one of her colleagues at the back of the line, "is this the line to order?" We were told yes! Already disappointed, we waited almost 30 minutes to order because the young lady (Chloe) behind the bar was working alone. Once we got to the bar, Chloe took our order (#60003). Consisting of (2) 6 piece original style hot wings, with blue cheese (1) Coors light and, (1) unsweetened tea. After ordering our food and drinks, Chloe asked for my card for payment. As we waited for the charge to complete, she politely asked if we would like to keep the tab open? I kindly responded, No! Reasons for this, (1) bars like this have a tendency to charge things to your card that you didn't order. As I added the tip and signed the receipt I told my wife, "I'm going to hang onto our copy just in case something goes wrong. Sure nuff it did! Chloe gave us our drinks and we walked away from the bar feeling completely unsatisfied. No thank you or anything! We were just shoe'd away so they could continue tackling the growing line of people in line to order. We then walked over to the first table available in the seating area and waited almost another 30 minutes for our order. Issue (1), as we waited the wife tasted her tea only to find out it was sweet tea, extremely sweet, sweet tea. I took the drink back to the bar and requested Chloe replace it with unsweetened tea and she replied "That is unsweet tea!" I stated again, No, its sweet tea can you please replace it! She did so finally after a few minutes of I'll assume was verifying that the tea she gave me was actually sweet. Back to the table I went to continue the wait for our food. As the order arrived, a young lady, who for all purposes I believe her name was Gabriella called out my name from her receipt then brought the orders to our table. Issue (2), the orders arrived with ranch dressing, after we specifically requested blue cheese. I flagged down Gabriella at the bar to correct our order issue of (2) blue cheese replacement dipping sides. The waitress Gabriella returned to our table with (1) blue cheese dip. My wife then had to ask her again before she walked away to bring her one as well. As we ate our wings and watched (3) other orders come out Gabriella returned with another (2) 6 pc wing plates. As she walked around the seating area obviously not knowing who the order was for, she asked if we had ordered a second set of wings? I quickly stated, No! She walked away looking confused and we thought nothing else of it. By now we had been in the facility for about an hour and a half and decided it was time to go, we have had enough of this place. The next morning my wife was blindsided and completely embarrassed because she was informed by her colleague that Gabriella via her manager stated that the "Black Couple" had walked out without paying the bill. Really! Funny part is we were obviously the only black couple there, so lets just blame the out of town black couple for our fuck up! Her colleague stated to the manager, it must be some sort of mistake and went ahead and paid for the wings. During her break, my wife called me with her colleague on the phone and he explained the entire conversation with the manager. Knowing that we definitely paid for our food, I forwarded him my bar receipt and AMEX billing statement showing that they had indeed charged me for my order of $47.42. Now days later, I have given the business ample time to reach out and respond to our calls, yet nothing! It's definitely not because they are sooo bust that they don't have time. No, its more like from my experience with these "Bro/Dude" places is that the manage is a trust fund baby 1. "Providing behind locked door one on one training to the waitresses." 2. Clearing booger dust from his desk. 3. Online bragging on how his BMW M car is so sweet." Or any combination of the three. Nevertheless, not only did my wife and I commit to never returning. So did the vast majority of her colleagues due in part to the poor service, limited menu and poor quality food. People its nothing "Premier" about this facility, to be premier you must first have integrity and be honest when a mistake was made on your part. None of which this place has. Last, don't expect a return call from the manager to resolve any errors or mistakes made on their part accusing you of not paying for crappy food. read more
