The Caesar Supreme Wrap
Daniel P.

A Must-Visit Spot in Miami! If you're looking for an incredible meal in Miami, this place absolutely delivers. We ordered the Ultimate Smash Burger and the Caesar Supreme Wrap, and both were outstanding. The Ultimate Smash Burger was cooked perfectly--juicy, flavorful beef patties with melted cheddar, crispy applewood bacon, sweet caramelized onions, and a house sauce that tied everything together. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the soft, buttery bun made it even better. Easily one of the best smash burgers I've had. The Caesar Supreme Wrap was just as impressive. It was loaded with fresh romaine, perfectly grilled chicken, creamy avocado, Parmesan, tomatoes, and Caesar dressing, all wrapped tightly so every bite had the perfect balance of ingredients. It was fresh, filling, and delicious. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right, and the fresh mixed greens were a nice touch. Presentation was excellent, portions were generous, and everything looked as good as it tasted. On top of the amazing food, the service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. If you're in Miami and craving a great burger, wrap, or just an all-around fantastic meal, don't skip this place. It's the kind of restaurant you'll want to come back to every time you're in town. Highly recommended!

The Tavern is located inside the Croydon Hotel. The staff is nice and the food is very good too. We stopped by a few times for quick drink/munchies during our visit to Miami.

We had an excellent experience here on Monday morning. Great food, great service and great ambiance! We were impressed. The Tavern sits inside Hotel Croydon in Miami Beach. Just look for the black & white umbrellas and the entrance to Tavern is there. We chose to sit indoors because it was windy that day. We loved the decor inside: high ceilings, dark woods, low lights, artwork, high up shelves with interesting objects on them, comfy leather booths and chairs, and a cool looking bar with black & white decor and bright red high tops. I have to compliment them on their wise choice of 80s music. Most everyone in there was singing along and moving to the beat including us! Dress code is nice casual. Our host and severer, Carlitos, warmly welcomed us and immediately took us to our table. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations. He took very good care of us. My daughter and I both ordered the Golden Classic Benedict. It was amazingly delicious! The best that I've tasted in years. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the yolks were soft like we wanted. The Bernaise sauce was delicious! The Canadian bacon was a good cut and tasty. The English muffin was toasted perfectly. The potatoes were seasoned nicely and browned lightly on the outside. What a great breakfast/brunch! We also ordered 2 hot vanilla lattes to go with our breakfast and they were just right. I can't believe we did it but we split a Nutella Pancake with blueberries and strawberries on it. It was perfection. We did not eat dinner that night. We were just fine from our breakfast! We plan to go back very soon. Parking is basically street parking and we didn't have a problem finding a spot close by. We got there around 11am before the lunch crowd. Put this place on your list.

During a recent work trip, we actually wound up coming here a couple times for breakfast and lunch! They have ample outside and inside seating and the staff is pretty quick and attentive. The portions are pretty large and everything I got (and our clients) was enjoyable! The pricing is good for it being right near the beach, too. I recommend checking it out!

Flight was delayed into Miami and this spot was close and open. Server was distracted but courteous. Beer was warm but drinkable. I didn't love all fake fauna all around, twinkle lights were nice. Cuban was ok, best part was the pork, smoky and not dry. Mahi mahi sandwich was adequate. Fries were really good.

We set our sights on this spot for our first brunch in Miami. They sat us outside, and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The menu has some great brunch options, including platters with various small bites (served with fresh fruit), which I loved since it lets you try a little bit of everything. The portions are generous and filling, the food is fresh, and the presentation is standard. We ordered the Chocolate Banana Waffles, Grilled Salmon Benedict, and the Catalina Breakfast. However, the service was the downside: our drinks came out right away, but we waited 45 minutes for our food--even though it wasn't even busy. No one checked in on us or gave us an update on our order, and we were starving! We also had a long wait just to get the check. Overall, the food was good, and they have plenty of vegetarian options which is a huge plus... But the wait times were just too much.

The Tavern Restaurant and Bar is located in Miami Beach's Mid Beach area close to hotels and the walking distance from the beach. Its airy and cozy casual outdoor dining area gives this restaurant a relaxing atmosphere. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner and have a full bar for those who likes to drink. Food and service is always good. Check it out!

Avocado Burger

We stopped by The Tavern since it was busy but conveniently just a short walk from our room. The atmosphere felt lively, though it did get pretty crowded. I ordered the avocado burger. The bun-to-patty ratio was great and the avocado was fresh, but the patty itself could have used more seasoning, and it was a bit wetter than I'd like with the salad mix. The chicken wings were solid, nothing spectacular but cooked through and with a nice crisp on the skin. The fries, however, came out on the dry side and really needed a side of ranch or ketchup to help swallow. Our waiter Hassan was friendly and tried to connect, but at times it felt a little awkward. Never came to refill our drinks or anything ,but did peak in on us to see if we were done. Overall it's a decent spot if you need something close by and don't mind a casual, somewhat noisy vibe. Wouldn't go back for the convenience and friendly service, if you do go ask for extra seasoning on that burger and maybe an extra side of sauce for the fries.

Lovely breakfast on the way back from Basel. Excellent food. Eggs Benedict were so delicate but also substantial. Portions are very generous. We had the Tavern breakfast also good. Eggs are so yummy and fluffy. Pancakes are so good with a nice light vanilla flavor. Service is very good. Ambiance is laid back, chill Sunday morning vibes. Prices are very reasonable.

Excellent food and outstanding service. The cooks delivered on every single meal we tried. The caramel latte was one of the best I've ever had rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The quality of both the coffee and the food really stood out. We tried the Hangover Burger, Chicken Alfredo, Benedict's empanadas, and the scramble, and every dish was flavorful and well prepared. Definitely a place that delivers consistency and quality across the board. **** Second visit and just as impressed as the first. After how great breakfast was on our first visit, we decided to come back for dinner -- and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The portions are HUGE, easily enough to share between two or even three people (think Cheesecake Factory-sized). We tried the chicken piccata, steak entrée, mussels with pasta, short rib burger, calamari, and a chopped salad. Everything was delicious and well prepared. We also had the Key lime pie for dessert, which is made in-house and was the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Great food, generous portions, and consistent quality.

Large menu with a ton of options. Claire behind the bar was extremely helpful and friendly. The ambiance is confused. They play a retro rock selection and sports on big screens. The space has a lot of odd decor, that some (I) would deem unnecessary including lampshade lamps and bottles of wine with glasses on the bar. And the vignettes on the far left wall have an English manor vibe but there are chalkboard pinups on the back wall.

Stopped in here for happy hour and I really don't think this deserves the three stars it has on yelp. Solid fries, good customer service, especially from Claire at the bar, and a fun atmosphere. I will be back!

Located inside the Found Hotel (a Marriott Edition), Bar Luca is a little restaurant with a beautiful bar area and attractive decor. The wicker-seated chairs aren't super comfortable, but they have other options. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food arrived quickly and steaming hot. Portions are huge - easily large enough to split. Expect tons of garlic. Prices seem typical for Miami Beach; $20 cocktails, $22 glasses of wine and entreés are ~$30+. Please note they have an 18% service added to the bill. The worst part was the bathroom experience. They're down a badly-maintained staircase behind the host stand, through an untidy/messy lobby (we saw piles of dirty towels and someone's bike). The women's bathroom smelt terrible, like they hadn't emptied the trash in days. The floor was filthy, one toilet had leaked, and there was no soap. Such a terrible shame, it let the whole experience down.

We did a full buyout of the space, and from start to finish everything exceeded expectations. The food was absolutely fabulous, the space was fun and vibrant, and it perfectly captured the local Miami vibe we were hoping to share with our team. Our attendees had an amazing time, with plenty of great food, great energy, and lots of pictures and memory-making throughout the evening. It was the perfect way to round out a week of corporate meetings, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend for both group events and special occasions.

I was not exceptionally well dressed, but I was very pleased to be welcome to warmly by the staff when I sat down. They were certainly attentive if needed, but they weren't interrupting my experience at the same time. This bar goes back to opening day for the hotel, and I'm very pleased that they've maintained the original chandelier and the overall feel of this bar. The drinks are expensive, but if you've been to Las Vegas or New York City the prices won't shock you that much. With a bar this well stocked I would be shocked if there's a drink they can't accommodate. I ordered a cucumber based item off the menu and found it to be absolutely delightful. This is the sort of experience that you only get to have a first time with once, so I'm hesitant to come back as it might spoil the memory I have of this place.
