Found this gem after Hurricane Irma for it was one of the only places open. Walking in it felt like a place we would hang out to have a drink and watch a game. Absolutely loved the food. Was a regular at the smaller version and love this new place just as much.

Came to have dinner at this establishment and didn't even get to try it. I purchased a 30 for 15 deal on local flavor.com. The fine print clearly says one per table. We had a large group and asked to be seated at different tables. Manager said we could only use one per group. So we found out quickly that it is a crooked web site and false advertising. Also found out that according to The Talking Pint if you know someone eating a their establishment at the same time you are that you are considered a group. Even if you rode in different vehicles and sit at different tables. It is a poor business tactic to get people to spend their money to come to your establishment then change the rules on them when they arrive. I'm just wondering if three other customers bought the deal and happen to show up at the same time and sit at different tables how you choose which two can't use what they purchased based on false advertising. Anyway I don't recommend spending any of your money at this very crooked establishment. One star because zero is not an option! read more

Talk about a neighborhood watering hole worth visiting! Was in town and wanted a little late night eats and saw this spot was right around the corner. The crowd outside looked inviting, so went on in. It was a different and cozy environment, but I loved the fact, that they cooked your food right there! Had a wonderful burger and a good beer. Tried this place for the first time last Friday night. The food was very good...typical pub fare. My group had wings, burger and fries, and roast beef quesadillas - all very good. They have a large selection of beers, ciders and liquor. They also had live entertainment. The guy singing was very talented. He sang songs from several genres. We really enjoyed that! The negative things I have are: the music was a bit too loud. It made it difficult to chat with friends. And the lights!! The lighting was wayyy to bright for a Friday night pub atmosphere. First time visit over the weekend. They don't appear to have a fryer so no wings or anything fried obviously. The ham sandwich was really good as was the cole slaw. The nachos were kinda tough to eat as they were in a basket and were basically a mound of cheese. The beer selection ranges from $2 PBRs up to more expensive craft beers. Hubs and I tried this place w/ some friends on the way to a Christmas party and really liked it! It's got friendly staff, beer/wine, and good snackage to boot! I loved that they had eclectic feel w/ mismatched furniture. The bartenders were very sociable and there's also featured live music. It's not as big as a World of Beer or Brass Tap, but similar feel if you're in the mood for something like that, but w/ a more intimate feel. We'll definitely return! read more

I am from Texas, visiting family here in Florida. The fam considers this place a local hangout, which I can understand why. Small and narrow area, one sided bar top and a handful of tables. TV's are a plenty. Come on out for football games. Bartender was attentive social. He even turned the grill on for us on Xmas eve :) Typically have a few local and rotating beers on tap. Menu is light bar food such as pita sandwiches and a bag of lays chips. All reasonable. Is this a place to travel across town for? Hands down my fav. local hang out. The food is bomb.com and don't let anyone tell you differently until you try it for yourself. The only absolute downside is service/time to get food. For being a small bar, you can easily wait 30-45 min to get two burgers made. They cook off of one very small grill to accommodate the entire bar so my husband and I usually call ahead to order and just pick it up. If we are feeling froggy then we will sit, have a few drinks and just wait it out. Also, they don't have register set up so even the tab is hand writte which takes a bit longer. Overall, this isn't really an in and out place I would go to if i were in a rush but for the most part, it is worth it! read more

We came here before we left town and we're glad we did! The food was excellent! We ordered the hummus flatbread and the stuffed ciabatta with coleslaw. What an amazing craft beer selection, I think it is great they offer several local brews too! The talking pint also has some wines and even root bear floats, yum. I also like how their bar food isn't your typical fried greasy food but everything tastes fresh and tasty ( I especially love the buffalo blue cheese burger)! On weekend nights there's live music and a jam session on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Friendly staff, very great and helpful owner, this is truly a fun place to hang out and drink some good brews. read more

Went here for the first time Friday night and found a cozy little bar for just kicking back & relaxing at the end of the week. The Agave wheat on tap was excellent, the music was good, & the owners were friendly. Reminds me of '"Cheers". Only suggestion is to have the music go later than 11pm. We will be back! read more

Very disappointed. Went to the Talking Pint recently with my wife and were pretty excited because we were looking forward to having a good local bar. We were incredibly let down. It's no lie they have a great happy hour and very reasonable prices for drinks but the unwelcoming atmosphere and unfriendly bartender overshadowed that big time. My wife asked about the soup and the bartender rudely said they didn't know if it was good cause she's vegan and won't eat it. I'm no connoisseur of craft beers but enjoy trying them out, never heard of these beers offered and ended up just ordering a Yuengling cause the bartender was no to concerned with telling me about any of the other options. We ordered one drink, left and can't say we'll be back. read more

A great local spot for enjoying craft beers that aren't found on menus at many other places. The beer selection changes frequently (once a keg runs out a new flavor is tapped, oh the suspense!) but there are three mainstays: Miller Lite, Yuengling(yay!), and Crispin Cider(double yay!). The bar also offers bottled varieties, along with coffee and cappuccino. There is live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays by local musicians, so get there early to get a seat, because the place fills up quick! There are also books to read, board games to play, and of course tv to watch. There's also some outdoor seating for you smokers, since the bar serves food. Very nice place in the fishhawk/lithia area. The owner is usually behind the bar and making the food. I've been here a few times and love the burgers. There's usually live music and a good selection of craft beers that change pretty frequently. Outdoor seating if you want to smoke. The other customers have all been very nice. We went to this place due to the positive reviews. Here is the positive...I think this place might be a decent for a cold beer. I would try it again for a cold beer. Here is the rest. The beer I ordered was poured into a glass that had someone else's lipstick print on it. We had to point it out for them to get a new glass. The menu is only bar food, not much of a selection. We chose chicken nachos and chili. The chili just did not taste right. It was extremely spicy...but I can usually handle that. I could only eat a few bites and gave it to the person with me. The chicken nachos had no flavor and were not hot at all. Could not eat those either. We had 2 beers and our total was 29.96 for bad food. We pointed this out to the staff that the food was not good and they did not even offer to substitute it with something else. We paid for it and left. By the time we were at the car....the person with me was vomiting due to the bad food. The food was not only bad...it made him extremely sick and me nauseous. read more

A great little local hole in the wall spot with an awesome beer selection. One awesome thing is the speciality beers stay on a rotation. Once the keg is kicked they get a new different beer to take its spot. Talk about keeping things fresh. And as far as food they do have an assortment of items that get cooked fresh right there in front of you. Grill space and proximity to customers may be a little on the tight side, but that minor issue will be solved soon when they move to their bigger location right in same plaza. And everything is fresh cooked no fryer or microwave which is commendable considering they serve food until 1am on weekends. You can't get a better beer and better food anywhere else in the area especially late at night. Got late night munchies or a hankering for a cold quality beer this is certainly your place to go. Been here before and it is a nice little pub but this review has nothing to do with the bar itself it's based on a decision they made. About a month ago I noticed some guys around a car that was running while walking into the gym next door and they said there was a guy in there passed out and wouldn't move right in front of the Talking Pint. I tried to wake him as well to no avail then went into the Talking Pint explained what clothes and car the passed out patron was driving and she knew who he was by name and said that he was in the bar drinking all afternoon(this was around 4:00pm on a Sunday.) She went out to the car woke him from his drunken nap and brought him back into the bar after constant banging on the window and when he woke had no clue where he was. This next move is what this review is all about, the bartender brought him inside for 20 minutes(max) and let him get back in his vehicle and drive home. Watching from the gym this guy was still hammered obviously and they willingly and knowingly let him drive away. Listen I am all for a good time but that's why there is services like Uber and Lyft and having a family and kids the bartender letting this guy drive was irresponsible and put other people's lives in danger. I understand not all drunk people can be stopped but one that passes out in your parking lot and couldn't be woken should not have been allowed to drive and shame on this bar and bartender for allowing that to happen. read more
