I've been to "The Table" 3 times and it is now officially one of my top 3 favorite Restaurants! We went for a delayed Birthday celebration for me. The food is consistently DELICIOUS! Weekend lunch was very busy, be warned. We waited in line for nearly 20 minutes. It's a walk up order bar, like a fast food restaurant. We got the Table Fries, which were awesome, especially with the herby dip. The Chicken Cherry Salad (with steak because they didn't have any chicken) was good, but not very filling. My spouse got the Beef Brisket on Baguette, which was really good, better than my salad. The most disappointing (and confusing) part was figuring out what we could actually order. The staff gave us a menu, but the website has several other menus, and there's no clear way to tell what you can and can't order. We found out "The Daily" menu, actually isn't available every day... at least not the entire offering. Good place to grab a tasty bite if you're in the area. read more

Loved our experience here. As soon as you pull up there's people enjoying their experience sitting outside. When you walk in you immediately take in the beautiful restaurant. It's pretty decor and great atmosphere. We looked at the menu while standing in line to order. When we got up front I asked the person taking our order for recommendations (fries vs the pasta) and her pasta recommendation didn't disappoint. My husband got fries and they too were delicious. We ordered the quiche of the day with pasta salad and vanilla earl grey latte tea. And the bacon avocado sandwich with fries. The pasta was delicious. The quiche was amazing and filling, they give you a big portion. The sandwich was good but didn't stand out like the rest. It was pretty plain. The fries were tasty. This is my favorite spot for a Saturday brunch. Love their coffee specials and the food is perfect. Had a honey cinnamon latte today and it was spot on. Staff is great. Oh. My wife had one of the salads, and I had a burger; both were $12.00 each. Neither was particularly special. For such a pricey place, you have to order at the counter. They bring your food to you, but refills on drinks or anything else; it is self-service. The drinks are all the same small size and in a clear plastic cup. In the food desert that is Asheboro this is a high point. I had the grilled Cuban sandwich and it was perfect. Served on a nice chewy baguette and stuffed with delicious sliced and tender pork. Good sized side salad came with.I didn't try any of the baked goods but I haven't left Asheboro yet! We ordered the Polenta bowl with greens, bacon, and goat cheese, and a grilled cheese with fries on sourdough. We opted to sit outside, and our food was brought out to us by a staff member. First appearance I thought everything looked very tasty. The polenta was not hot, which was disappointing, but the flavor combination was pretty spot on, and I enjoyed it. After lunch we opted to order a treat to go, so we had an everything cookie, hot chocolate, cappuccino, and a piece of Maple Buttermilk Pie..let me just tell you, that pie was everything, and I'm not even a pie person. The filling to crust ratio was perfect, and the crust was nice and buttery..yummy perfection. I live in Columbus Ohio and know that when places are good that they are worth the wait of whatever line you might encounter. The Table Farmhouse Bakery is a place where I do not mind waiting. It's worth the time spent in line. The pastries and baked goods that I have purchased have been delicious, well made, and devoured perhaps a little too quickly. I have even turned my family members on to this place. My mom and aunt come get pastries when they are in Asheboro. The TFB and Four Saints are always stops when I come to Asheboro to visit my grandma. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by The TFB. Just bring your patience, as there may be a line. But hey, it's okay, it's nice to move a little slower at times. The Table Farmhouse Bakery recently collaborated with a local potter to make mugs. The proceeds from the sell of these mugs was being donated to Randolph Hospice. Before his passing, my grandfather was supported by Randolph Hospice House. When I saw this on their Facebook page, I knew I wanted a pair so I reached out to see if it was possible. The folks at The TFB were wonderful enough to put aside two mugs when I expressed interest, allowed me to pay by phone and, were willing to hold them until a friend of mine would be able to pick them up. This is AMAZING customer service and solidifies why I visit The TFB when I am in Asheboro. read more
