I had been wanted to check out The Table for a few years. I finally made it yesterday. It met my expectations. So cute and quaint, welcoming and personal. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I got there at 2:15 but they were still willing to take my order. The food was unique and so tasty. My mother had the House BLT. She couldn't stop raving about it, especially the marinated tomatoes. I loved the comforting taste of Grits and Greens. I hope to come back again because I want to try several things on the menu. I made sure to purchase a couple of boxes of Anigrahams. If you're visiting the Asheboro area, this is a must stop for breakfast or brunch. We were a group of Five guys, even though the line was busy our food was fresh, hot and came out on time. To me it seemed like upscale with the way, they presented it however, the prices were on par with any other restaurant in the area. I think it was a great value. The restaurant is beautiful with ample seating indoors and out. We spoke to the owner and another gentleman for quite a while to get a little history of the restaurant, and the town. My family LOVES this place. If you're a foodie then this is your home. Our most recent visit we came for breakfast. I had the green Chile bacon naan. WOW. So delicious. Probably my favorite dish here. Bacon, cheese, salsa, and crema sauce on naan bread served with a side of avocado. My hubby had the ham and fig toastie. Delicious as well. It's like a grilled cheese sandwich on steroids. Love the sweet fig flavor married with the twang of mustard. And the earl gray latte with vanilla flavor is AMAZING. All the staff are super friendly but one tip: after seating yourself keep an eye on the counter by the barista if you've ordered tea/coffee. Weekend lunch was very busy, be warned. We waited in line for nearly 20 minutes. It's a walk up order bar, like a fast food restaurant. We got the Table Fries, which were awesome, especially with the herby dip. The Chicken Cherry Salad (with steak because they didn't have any chicken) was good, but not very filling. My spouse got the Beef Brisket on Baguette, which was really good, better than my salad. The most disappointing (and confusing) part was figuring out what we could actually order. The staff gave us a menu, but the website has several other menus, and there's no clear way to tell what you can and can't order. We found out "The Daily" menu, actually isn't available every day... at least not the entire offering. Good place to grab a tasty bite if you're in the area. read more

I've been to "The Table" 3 times and it is now officially one of my top 3 favorite Restaurants! We went for a delayed Birthday celebration for me. The food is consistently DELICIOUS! Loved our experience here. As soon as you pull up there's people enjoying their experience sitting outside. When you walk in you immediately take in the beautiful restaurant. It's pretty decor and great atmosphere. We looked at the menu while standing in line to order. When we got up front I asked the person taking our order for recommendations (fries vs the pasta) and her pasta recommendation didn't disappoint. My husband got fries and they too were delicious. We ordered the quiche of the day with pasta salad and vanilla earl grey latte tea. And the bacon avocado sandwich with fries. The pasta was delicious. The quiche was amazing and filling, they give you a big portion. The sandwich was good but didn't stand out like the rest. It was pretty plain. The fries were tasty. And the earl grey latte with vanilla was creamy and delicious with a design on the foam (a plus). Can't wait to come back! My wife and I are here for the first time today. Overall, the place is average but very expensive. The aesthetics are excellent, and the atmosphere is quaint. It has a nice homy feel. My wife had one of the salads, and I had a burger; both were $12.00 each. Neither was particularly special. For such a pricey place, you have to order at the counter. They bring your food to you, but refills on drinks or anything else; it is self-service. The drinks are all the same small size and in a clear plastic cup. Found this place on Yelp after spending the morning at the Zoo. I immediately liked the look of the place as soon as s we arrived, the decor was very chic and I liked the outside set up. We ordered the Polenta bowl with greens, bacon, and goat cheese, and a grilled cheese with fries on sourdough. We opted to sit outside, and our food was brought out to us by a staff member. First appearance I thought everything looked very tasty. The polenta was not hot, which was disappointing, but the flavor combination was pretty spot on, and I enjoyed it. My sons grilled cheese was very good, and I liked the crunchiness of the fries. After lunch we opted to order a treat to go, so we had an everything cookie, hot chocolate, cappuccino, and a piece of Maple Buttermilk Pie..let me just tell you, that pie was everything, and I'm not even a pie person. The filling to crust ratio was perfect, and the crust was nice and buttery..yummy perfection. The only negative that I have for this place, is that they allow patrons inside without masks on to order food, and be near the other patrons. I was very disappointed in seeing that. read more

We spent the night in Ashboro expecting to get up the next morning and go to Seagrove to browse the beautiful potteries & as we all WELL know hotel coffee is absolutely disgusting. WELL, There isn't a STARBUCKS for miles! THANK YOU FOR THAT BECAUSE WE WOULD HAVE MISSED THIS FANTASTIC GEM!!!! I sat there taking in the BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS, SMELLING THE COFFEE AND HANDCRAFTED BAKED GOODS, and listening ti the MANY LOCALS catching up on daily lives, HALF expecting to see Joanna Gaines come out of the back!! Coffee was hot strong and absolutely perfect! The girl behind the counter got my coffee just right and was super sweet and friendly!! I live in Columbus Ohio and know that when places are good that they are worth the wait of whatever line you might encounter. The Table Farmhouse Bakery is a place where I do not mind waiting. It's worth the time spent in line. The pastries and baked goods that I have purchased have been delicious, well made, and devoured perhaps a little too quickly. I have even turned my family members on to this place. My mom and aunt come get pastries when they are in Asheboro. The TFB and Four Saints are always stops when I come to Asheboro to visit my grandma. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by The TFB. Just bring your patience, as there may be a line. But hey, it's okay, it's nice to move a little slower at times. The Table Farmhouse Bakery recently collaborated with a local potter to make mugs. The proceeds from the sell of these mugs was being donated to Randolph Hospice. Before his passing, my grandfather was supported by Randolph Hospice House. When I saw this on their Facebook page, I knew I wanted a pair so I reached out to see if it was possible. The folks at The TFB were wonderful enough to put aside two mugs when I expressed interest, allowed me to pay by phone and, were willing to hold them until a friend of mine would be able to pick them up. This is AMAZING customer service and solidifies why I visit The TFB when I am in Asheboro. read more
