Of them, I've enjoyed the Cinnamon Toast latte while my wife is a fan of the Berry Haze. I've been trying to do sugar-free syrups when I can as of late, and thankfully, Joy Bar has a larger-than-average assortment of them on hand. While the coffee is still the biggest strength, Joy Bar does offer more. Whether you need a baked good, a bag of beans, a chocolate bar (courtesy of local artisans Eigen), or a gift, Joy Bar has you covered. The baristas are always friendly, and while there isn't always a table to spare (inside at least - patio seating is usually open in nicer weather), the atmosphere remains comfortable. High Point is practically hemorrhaging coffee shops at this point, but even amid the heightened competition, Joy Bar is a reliably good option.

I've been to Dunkins that were routinely out of basic items and Dunkins where employees were too high to process what you were telling them. My favorite was the Dunkin where one employee loudly yelled "I quit!" from the back while another employee up front was completely unfazed. In light of that, I will commend this Dunkin for being a cut above the rest. As befits a newish location, the store is bright and clean. There's a good amount of space and seating, and you don't have to peer over the counter to see what donuts are available. Customer service is also notably better here than it is in some of the other Triad-area locations. Staff are professional and helpful. I've seen them expedite orders for customers in a hurry, and they once remade a drink that I spilled while opening the door. Ordering here is also very convenient as there are multiple options: register, kiosk, app or drive-thru window. Donut selection varies from day to day, but I do appreciate the number of sugar-free options and amount of customization available. I grabbed a medium iced coffee on my most recent visit, and it gave me the boost I needed to get through a busy day. An accompanying Boston Kreme donut was satisfying in a nostalgic way though I wouldn't put it against other donut options. Dunkin doesn't offer great coffee, either - that's what local shops are for - but if quick, easy, and not catastrophically expensive are your goals, you can trust this location to not make you regret your decision.

I love the theme and the decorations inside. Rather large space and could accommodate a baby shower, makeup event or moms-meetup. I've since moved to Greensboro, so it's been a while, but as soon as I walked through the door and caught a whiff of coffee and their delicious baked goods, I was reminded why this was my favorite coffee shop in HP. Debeen Espresso is a charming, female-owned local gem that combines the art of great coffee with delicious, in-house gluten free and vegan baked goods. From the moment you step inside, the inviting atmosphere and warm smiles from the baristas set the tone for a great experience. I had the pleasure of trying their banana walnut muffin, and let me just say--it was the moistest muffin I've ever tasted. The balance of banana, walnut, and spice was perfect, and it paired wonderfully with my almond milk latte. There's an array of gluten free and vegan muffin and cookie options as well as additional treats (overnight oats, carrots and hummus, etc) in the fridge. It's clear that Debeen Espresso takes pride in not just the quality of their coffee, but in everything they do. The service was fast and friendly and the shop itself is cozy, with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. We opted to sit on the outdoor patio, where additional seating provides a chance to enjoy the fresh air while sipping your favorite drink. Adjacent to Debeen is Pure Light Yoga, creating the perfect opportunity to sip, savor, and even savasana--all in one visit. Whether you're there for a quiet moment away or catching up with a friend, Debeen Espresso offers a unique and relaxing space where you can really enjoy your experience. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this cozy spot with its delicious drinks, healthy treats and welcoming vibe.

After sitting down, they always brought me my coffee, no complaints. But this morning, the manager told me my dog was not allowed there, and that dogs had never been allowed there, not in the 4 yrs she'd been manager. HUH?? Why was she lying to me? Why didn't she just admit that she was making a change in their long-standing policy of allowing dogs there? Just the week before, I had come there with my dog and found the green chairs occupied. When I asked the employee if there was another place inside where dogs were allowed, she said no. She did NOT say that dogs weren't allowed there anyway. Good-bye Brewskie's.
