Amazing!!! The best little coffee shop in town!! Would return if I'm in the area. The bagels were delicious that I ate one and ordered another and made my husband split it with me. Oh what an amazing place. We waited for a long time at 'The Table' and then found this as a substitute and thank god we did. Here is the summary of my experience here: 1) Ambiance 5/5: Cheerful contemporary inviting vibe. The seating is limited but I believe this is mostly a to-go coffee place. There is a couch and about 4-5 2-seater tables 2) Service 5/5 - The service was delightful. I had few questions about the bagels being vegan and they patiently heard and found out about it. Good news - Most of the bagels are vegan :). The girl in the front taking orders was very patient and helpful 3) Food 6/5: I am neither a fan of bagels not do I like coffee but I got them both. Absolutely love this spot! Super homey and welcoming vibes. They've got some fun seating arrangements located in their front window display as well as other seating options along the walls. Coffee is good, but the real winner are the pastries! From muffins, to cookies, bagels and danishes - I have not tried one I didn't absolutely obsess over and for only $2-$4 each, it's a complete steal. read more

What a gem! My friends and I came in to warm up on a very cold day. We were thrilled that Nannie Mae's was still open because it was late afternoon. We walked in and immediately loved the place. The decor is outstanding. What really stood out were the two cozy window spots. We all loved our coffees that we ordered. I had a maple latte. It was one of the best cups of coffee I ever had! After an intensive search for a bakery, I landed up at Nannie Mae's. It was going to be a banana pudding cheesecake order, but it got switched to a banana pudding. We picked up some more pastries while we were in there. The cute bakery is so cozy and welcoming. It had a couple love seats with inside seating. We got cannolis and praline cheesecake bars. We were taking our dog out for a walk and the staff noticed us outside (while others in our group were inside getting coffee) and brought him a pupcup. We came in on a Tuesday afternoon where there was a little run of people but we never felt rushed or crowded. Being new to this business, we wanted to check everything out. We ordered a cheesecake brownie and baklava, along with a drip coffee and bottle of water. The baklava was very tasty, the brownie was good too! My husband likes his coffee black but they had tons of syrups that you could add to jazz up the flavor. One of my new favorite spots! The lighting was perfect - not too bright and not too dark so I could work easily. I went on a weekday so it was pretty low-key. My iced chai was one of the absolute BEST I've ever had! The ham and Swiss croissant was flaky and positively delicious and the peach cobbler cinnamon roll was out of this world! This is the only place I can find macaron's near me, and they are amazing! There are a few bakery/coffee places down Sunset, and they're all great! This one stands out because of the many options they offer. They have Teas, Frappes (mocha, cookies/cream, etc), Lattes, Cold Brew, and Matchas! They also have an extensive bakery/dessert section that changes daily- macarons (of course), cannolis, cheesecake, cookies, bagels, and tons of other stuff. It's always fresh which is a great plus! Wonderful atmosphere. It's so nice to hear jazz instead of head throbbing noise. The coffee is great and so are the baked goodies. I had cannoli, cookies and the muffins. They're all good. We had to make a last minute order for cupcakes at literally a few minutes before closing time. Not only did they take our order, they assured us that the order would be ready by 10 AM the following day. The cupcakes were ready as promised and were beautiful with special decorations. I needed a good place to study while eating some delicious food and drinking coffee and found The Factory. I ordered the serendipity and the funky monkey, I'm currently eating it as I write this review and I'm in tastebuds heaven. Do yourself a favor and come try this. The waffle is crispy but soft and the coffee is just a great, smooth frappe treat!! The staff are so friendly, the place is cutely decorated and they play uplifting Christian. I was inside no more than 3-5 minutes and the whole rest of the day my clothing reeked of their shop. I would love to come back with friends, especially on delay-days which we will be having soon I imagine, but to avoid smelling like their place all day, I will have to pass. The coffee is good, though. Their menu has tons to choose from and there is something for everyone!

After sitting down, they always brought me my coffee, no complaints. But this morning, the manager told me my dog was not allowed there, and that dogs had never been allowed there, not in the 4 yrs she'd been manager. HUH?? Why was she lying to me? Why didn't she just admit that she was making a change in their long-standing policy of allowing dogs there? Just the week before, I had come there with my dog and found the green chairs occupied. When I asked the employee if there was another place inside where dogs were allowed, she said no. She did NOT say that dogs weren't allowed there anyway. Good-bye Brewskie's. Good-bye to a manager who feels no shame for lying to customers.
