Easily the best subs in our area! The best bread. The best sub sauce. Their. Chicken salad sub...with cashews added...another great sandwich.

Great small business! The subs were delicious from the very first bite to the last. My new go to when I'm in town for a quick bite. The prices are great too my sub was only $7.00 and their bread was the best!

the food was great, the bread was super soft, lots of drink and chip options, the restaurant itself was very clean with an open kitchen, the workers were super kind, and the food came out quick. definitely will be going back. the prices were also very reasonable.

We finally had a sandwich from here and it was amazing. The bread is soft and I believe is baked fresh daily. The potato salad is sour cream based and very tasty. Very nice people and extremely fast.

The sub shop is a great little local spot you can grab a fresh sub at a good price. Only open for a few hours a day it seems the best time to hit here is 11am or 2pm. They still get sandwiches out pretty quickly so there's not too much of a wait. When you are in the mood for a sandwich I definitely recommend hitting this local spot. My wife loves their chicken salad because they put grapes in it. I like the homemade cookies!

I saw this place on the news and read the reviews on here. What a great locally owned place to eat. I'm an airplane pilot so I had to try the "Skinny Pilot sub. Turkey, veggies, pepperoni and some kind of sauce. I will definitely come back before visiting any chain sub place. The sub was delicious, fresh bread and the potato salad was good as well. The owner was very friendly. It says something about the place when there's a line out the door. Well done!!!

First time customer! Visiting from out of town and saw the great reviews. It was raining today and people were lined up around the building to get in. Spoke with others in line and they said the place is great and worth the wait. We were told this location had been open since 1969. The space inside is small and only a few people can stand inside to order. The staff is very friendly and fast. We really enjoyed our food! The bread is so soft and fresh. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The homemade sweet tea and chocolate chip cookies are worth getting!

Great little sandwich shop. Only open for lunch. Freaky fast service. Friendly people who learn your name. Only takes cash.

When I say large, I mean it is massive. You need at least 2 to 3 people to eat the sandwich. Even if you took a quarter of the sandwich, you would be good to go for a meal. Often sometimes we will eat a quarter of it and take the other piece home after we split the whole thing in half. The soups here are phenomenal. They are made from scratch and they go fast. OH, and don't let me forget about the chocolate cake. It is wonderful! I try to get a piece every time I come. I believe the chocolate cake is homemade. Definitely a must have! The restrooms are well-stocked and usually pretty clean. The staff are pretty friendly,, with the caveat being that when the owner is checking you out at the register, he can be a bit prickly around the edges. Your main problem here will be finding a place to park if you go during a normal meal time. We usually park in the neighboring lot and walk over to the restaurant. Don't sleep on this place. It is SO good! Check it out for yourself next time you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.

We spent about $40 for two people and had table service, which was a nice touch. Our waitress was very friendly and had a great attitude, though it seemed like she might have been having an off night as there were a few small mistakes along the way. The food was good across the board -- nothing bad at all, just not especially memorable. The space itself is a plus: larger dining room, comfortable seating, and a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. If you're comparing Mediterranean options in Springfield, I'd probably give the edge on food to Greek Belly, but Crave offers a more spacious and relaxed dine-in atmosphere. Overall, a good, reliable option -- especially if you value the setting as much as the food.

There are different variety of gyros and shrawma that they have. I usually order a either of it. So it's surprising to see more different one! I stick with the basic gyro and my daughter got the Philly cheese steak gyro and the beef shrawma dinner plates. We also order some appetizer and dessert. Food tastes very fresh and good. A must try spot.

But the portions are small, and I felt like a needed a meal less than an hour after eating there, so... Not worth the money. But it was a good little sandwich if you're ever not hungry at all but feel the need to eat something. But if you're hungry, or even have a normal person-sized appetite, best to go somewhere else. Also, service is slow -- kind, but slow -- and you won't be getting your tiny deli sandwich in a hurry. So if you thought, "oh, a deli, I'll save some time and get a quick bite." No. No you will not. Nothing personal, but this is a confused business model yielding low ROI for the customer in terms of portion and quality per price. If you have the time and want to pay this much for a sit down restaurant, go get full at literally any table service restaurant in town and avoid this place. But, if you like overpaying for tiny sandwiches that take forever to be served, then this is the spot for you. I just don't see how I could ever be compelled to return here. This makes no sense as a restaurant. It was good--but it was just a little sandwich snack that took well over an hour to walk in, sit down, order, receive, and then eat. The eating part took almost no time, however, because, as I said, the portions are tiny. It did taste good, though, so you get a second star.
