For drinks my wife had a Vodka Blueberry Lemonade while I had a Warsteiner Dunkel (which I can't believe was only $2!). We both finished our meals with dessert. I had the St. Michael's Lemon Blueberry while my wife had the gluten free Brownie. Overall this was a great experience and we loved how well the staff did their jobs. The Sub Shop is a top-tier sandwich spot and one of those places that just gets everything right. It's cash only, the bread is made fresh daily, and the sandwiches are as good as it gets for this style -- simple, consistent, and absolutely dialed in. What really sets it apart, though, is the people. The staff and owners are some of the friendliest you'll find anywhere. They treat everyone like a regular, and it creates an energy that's hard to replicate. They've got a solid chip selection, and if you catch the cookies when they have them, they're easily worth the extra couple bucks. The tea is also excellent. One thing that really stood out over time -- they held the line on pricing longer than just about anyone through the pandemic and beyond. Even now, the value is still there.
