We truly honestly regret selecting this restaurant to host such "intimate" dinner to say the least. The "' private rooms " aren't even private ... we were sat infront of a big party which I think they were hosting a mad hatter event at the time and they kept the curtains wide open for many passing customers to pry at us and it was a very uncomfortable ( found out that the bathrooms are right next door at that ) experience . I was under the impression that the word private ment curtains will be closed private . I'm not sure if it's because the party was " too small " to even treat it as a courtesy event but omg ? Ambiance was not fit for us & There's truly no excuse for it . We even requested to have curtains closed but he just undid the rope ever so slightly still having us in full display . We had this server which I unfortunately didn't get her name all I could remember was her high slicked bun and her loud practically screaming voice . It was all our first time here so we were looking at the menu to figure out what we'd like to order but this lady kept rushing us not allowing the table to coordinate our orders for a smooth process I mean it's 10 of us. So that was just a mess to order. We all put in our orders for drinks first to allow us to look at the menu since she kept being pushy like she didn't even get 2 of our guests drink order in either ?? So we had to wait until she came back which took a very long time .... Once some drinks came back to us one of the servers SPILLED some the of the drink on one of our guests dress ! And all over the table . It's truly so embarrassing to experience this in general as a person and a customer let alone someone that is celebrating a special event. The food and drink were decent but I truthfully think the experience overshadowed the actual enjoyment of the food and drinks. Once we had our food the waitress popped in at very long sparse times to yell out if we were okay in the middle of our dinner which honestly most of us grew irritated by it because there's absolutely no need to scream at us while we are eating ....our guest honestly felt uncomfortable to order because there was already that drink mishap and just the poor service overall . There was a point where a server came in to set down the food and practically tossed it on the table& made a comment about the amount of food one of our guest had ordered ? Like are we missing proper serving etiquette at this point ? If I could have a do over I wouldn't select this place for events like that . Maybe a casual dinner but if that was the case maybe I should've just opt for chilis for better service honestly because this wasn't it . We had brought a small cake to cut and she would come in at times just to yell out " cmon now everyone it's a celebration " like please read the room. If you're like me trying to host a small dinner for a special celebration don't do it here. If the automated gratuity wasn't in place I don't even think a tip was worth it.

This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.

He initially said that there was a 30 min wait even though we could see empty tales. We had already paid so we had to stay to get the $30 discount on your bill when spending $30. The moment the event started time got closer, all of this crowd started leaving which allowed us to really enjoy our night. The food was great as always. The poke nachos are really tasty with a good balance of fish and nachos. The fish and chips is one of our go to dishes they are always perfectly cooked. We have noticed that shrinkflation has happened throughout the years, but after enjoying a few beers you don't notice anymore. This was the first time trying their burger and it was amazing! The patty was perfectly cooked and the flavors just worked together. We also decided to give the beeramisu a second try and we enjoyed it. It is a creative and unique twist to your traditional tiramisu. Since it had been a while, we didn't even know that they have a club now. We gladly join and got the poke nachos as a welcome gift.
