I attended a baby shower at this venue this past weekend, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with how the owner handled the event. Throughout the party, the owner repeatedly complained that the live music was too loud and even complained about the DJ being too loud. I found this very strange considering this is a banquet venue where people are paying to host celebrations with music and entertainment. There also aren't homes directly surrounding the venue, so I'm not sure why the music became such a major issue. Isn't that part of the reason people rent a banquet hall--to be able to celebrate and enjoy music without having to worry about disturbing neighbors? It was a beautiful celebration, but the constant issues surrounding the music and the way certain guests were spoken to definitely put a damper on the experience. I would think twice before booking an event here if you plan on having a DJ or live music. read more

I'd like to start off by saying this venue is nice, it can definitely be made to fit for your event, however because we dealt with both Fatima and her sister the communication was not always exact. One example and this definitely was my fault as well, during the food tasting we originally selected carnitas but I then messaged them after and asked if we could change it to birria, Fatima said no problem I'll make a note of the change. Day of my event we got carnitas so that one was on both of us, since it was served like that I didn't want to argue on my day. Second thing we told them day of that we planned on having a cup of noodle bar and we knew they had the capability of providing hot water, Nancy told us to let her know an hour before we planned on serving it so she could warm up the water. She then told my planner that the water dispenser got taken for another event, so my planner order 3 small kettle warmers from target sent her assistant to get them only for the water dispenser from Sol to show up, yes the kettles were returned but again shows my point of the lack of communication. Third thing we were fortunate enough to have availability to set up our things the day before but when we arrived the table cloths were not there and we had to wait over an hour to get them to continue, that wasn't so much an issue it was the fact that because of that delay we took longer and then she told us that they had to leave soon and we needed to hurry up. So again that was upsetting. The other thing is when we were selecting table cloth covers we said for our main table and dessert table it would be ivory and the rest of our tables would be green, the communication lacked again because we didn't get that, when I told her ok can we get that her response was unfortunately the event on Sunday needed the ivory, that comment made me feel like my event didn't matter to them. When she tried offering me a different table cloth for our sweetheart table she put one that had a stain and said unfortunately the stains don't come off. Now this might just be me but why would u keep a stained cloth instead of taking it to a cleaner or buy a replacement. Luckily she had something else and we made it work for us. The staff and bartender were awesome, very nice, but I didn't know my guests weren't allowed to get seconds, that rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn't there for it so I don't know if Nancy was rude to my guests but they informed me of that. Of course we had a specific guest count and food was accounted for the amount of guests but we did have guests last minute not attend. I also I didn't appreciate that they moved some of my seating arrangements after we set everything. My planner had to figure out during guest arrival why the placements were moved and guests had to wait. Overall this place is gonna be special to me because we created memories but I'm always gonna remember the inconveniences as well. I hope my review helps others so when you communicate with them that everything gets noted and saved so you can make sure you get what you want. I would recommend for others event to go more smoothly for both Fatima and her sister to have one group chat with the people that are having their event there so there is no miscommunication. read more

Words can't describe how amazing this venue is . Before visiting Sol I had looked at three others venues for our weeding none worked for us. From the moment I walk in I instantly knew this was the right place for our special day. My husband and I both met with Fatima for a quote came back a couple days later to sign the contract. Communicating with Nancy went smoothly she answered all our questions and concerns. She was always open to accommodations and finding the best solutions for us as the customer and her as the host. As far as the venue very clean space the patio was a plus for us since we did want a small ceremony and snack vendors . The food was amazing all our guest had a great time. After seeing and going to different venues we chose to have my daughter's quinceañera reception at Sol Banquet Hall and it was a dream come true. I can't thank the staff enough for making the day so special, everyone was very attentive. From the initial planning with Fatima and Nancy, to the execution on the day of, everything was handled with professionalism and care. We had our daughter's 18th birthday (Debut) here last month and Josue made the transaction so easy and smooth. He responded to all my questions and concerns prior to the event. The staff, the bartender were very nice and friendly. Although we only have a bit over 120 people but it can accommodate up to 200 people and a decent size dance floor. Josue even suggested to look for another venue to see what other venues can offer us but my heart was set on here due to the location (near our place), affordable, the size of the venue and catered food being included on the price. The only thing I would've loved even more if they could allow more time to decorate the place. Sol banquet only allows you to be at the venue 2hrs prior the time of your event since an employee needs to be their to supervise and/or assist since there are a very few things you can't do at the place which is understandable. Avoid this place! I had a wedding in April 2023 at this venue. Josue was rude and hard to reach before the wedding. You might think you can save money by booking this venue, but take your business elsewhere. Josue was rude to my wife, me, and my wedding planner. Josue argued with my wedding planner and then refused to talk with her. Josue said he does not work with wedding planners. How can this business advertise as a wedding venue and not work with wedding planners? Most weddings will have a wedding planner. How is this place even in business? Sol Banquets did not place the tables the day of my wedding where we wanted. Also, Josue was rude to me the day of my wedding. How can you be rude on the most important day of someone's life. Avoid this business. In addition, Josue said he never received the $500 deposit. He almost refused to return the $500 deposit. He ended up returning the $500 after double checking that we gave it to him. The customer service was the worst and I had the worst experience with Josue. He is very rude and often does not answer your questions. A wedding is stressful enough and you should avoid Sol Banquets. I will never return to Sol Banquets. read more
