If you've ever been to a Pressed Cafe (yes, just one), you may be forgiven to assume they're all…read moremostly alike. This review is to tell you otherwise. Some are much larger (like this one). Some are drive-thru only (like the one near my house). I'm gonna talk about the former real quick. Naturally, the menu is basically the same. On this day, I was having lunch. Ergo, I opted to try the Chipotle Short Rib & Egg burrito (as a bowl because I'm a man of culture) accompanied with a cup of chowdah. I must say...I expected there to be a bit more flavor, what - with the Chipotle sauce n' all. Alas, I had to add my own salt. This is mostly a nitpick, but really...can we please season our beef? Just a lil bit even? So, the biggest difference you'll notice at this location is the parking situation. It's....annoying. Because on the one hand, you technically have ample amounts of spaces to park in. Or...you WOULD, if not for the signs en masse that read "[insert corporate company name here] parking only - all violators will be towed at owner's expense." I find this hilarious because I feel like that would be impossible to enforce for folks parking less than 10 minutes to pick up an order like I did. So, I guess my pro tip of the day would be: feel free to park wherever at your own risk if and ONLY if you're getting take-away. If you're actually dining in, I suppose you'll have to wait painstakingly for one of the few parking spots actually designated for Pressed specifically to open. By the way, if you're picking up a take-away order, the take-out shelf is smack dab next to their side entrance opposite the side where you would normally order your food. It's one of those "blink once and you'll miss it" type things the first time visiting. From my vantage point, this place stays quite busy. Not surprising, considering the Burlington area in general. Clearly, a lot of folks come here mid-work day which is also the only reason I came here to begin with. Overall, not a bad lunch stop, though the parking can be slightly obnoxious. I'm giving Pressed Cafe in Burlington 4 Chipotle Short Rib bowls dubiously seasoned out of 5.

While everything was cooked well, my main issue was that it lacked flavor. The breakfast sandwich with sausage did get more flavor due to the sausage, but the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich felt like eating a warm English muffin only. There also was a very small amount of bacon which didnt help. We also ordered two coffees which were good, but tasted like any other cafe coffee. There are plenty of seating options inside and outside which is nice and the staff is friendly. I did appreciate the freshness of the ingredients so Id likely give a different item on the menu a try next time.

I noticed this little shop across the street called bagels and brew and decided to stop in to check it out. First of all the interior is adorable, but please be warned that there are a few steps down so not accessible for everyone. The staff is very nice and funny and they all seem to enjoy working together and were even supporting one of the workers who had some neck pain. Best of all the bagels are fresh and delicious with lots of options to choose from. Also, my thin, mint decaf almond milk latte really hit the spot. So much better than a Dunkin' Donuts latte!

I ordered the Coconutella latte and it was perfectly balanced, flavorful without being overly sweet. The Nutella cold foam was definitely indulgent, but the latte itself was smooth and delicious. We went on a Saturday morning and only waited about 15 minutes for coffee and food, which honestly felt very reasonable considering how popular this place is. I also got the cinnamon roll, which was HUGE and really good. I do wish it had been served warm, but after reheating the leftovers at home I loved it even more. The standout pastry was a donut-style pastry filled with pistachio cream. We also ordered the Il Classico, which was super flavorful, a great portion size, and definitely had a spicy kick. On top of the food and drinks, the service was amazing, the decor was adorable, and parking was surprisingly easy. After finally going, I completely understand why this place gets so much attention. My car had my wife and 4 month old in it and he accosted her before coming to find me. To top things off, Cibo screwed up the order completely. What a disaster, I couldn't even believe people were still ordering after walking in and seeing 20 people waiting for their order. It seems like a decent place but they should shut their order ahead off if they can't handle it. This experience made me never want to step foot in Wakefield again. I surely won't be going back to Cibo. I can't find a reason to provide more than a star here.

Supporting this restaurant helps a great cause. But more than that, the space is super comfortable and clean. The staff was very positive, efficient and did a great job. The BLT that we ordered was very tasty, the prices are extremely reasonable, and they have different programs like a membership where you get a free coffee per day, etc. It was our first time there, and we'll definitely be back!
