The problem was that it took over an hour for our food to arrive. During that time, we watched three tables that were seated after us receive their meals before we did. It became pretty clear that our order had likely been forgotten. I completely understand that mistakes happen. If our waiter had simply apologized and been honest about it, we would have understood. Instead, he told us the kitchen was "backed up," even though we could clearly see other tables being served. We ultimately decided to leave after watching two tables that were seated after us finish their meals, pay, and leave before we had even received our food. We paid for our drinks before leaving and never received an apology. On top of that, some of the manager's responses to negative reviews come across as dismissive and disrespectful. After our experience, it's not hard to see why the service seems to have gone downhill.
