This company cannot be trusted. They will increase your rent by 29% at a time and will not reward…read morecustomer loyalty. 29% increase is egregious price gouging! Public Storage's idea of customer retainment is the opposite of just all businesses in existence! They will keep increasing your rent despite the fact that it will reach a point where they charge more than double of what any of their competitors charge. Now they want to charge me $525 for a 10x10 unit when I can go get a 10x20 unit from several of their competitors for half of the price. And I can get a 10x10 elsewhere for less than $190 if I wanted to get another 10x10 unit. If you already rent from them, make sure to not use automatic payments because they are relying on customers that don't pay attention. This is not ok and it most definitely IS price gouging! I've paid them around $30,000 so far since I've been a customer and they don't seem to value the approx $5,000 that I've paid them every year! Loyal customers are of no value to Public Storage! You can save thousands of dollars a year by going to one of their competitors and the fact of the matter is that Public Storage does not offer anything that their competitors don't. In fact, some of their competitors do more than just charge half the price of Public Storage. Some of these same half priced units are even climate controlled, when Public Storage isn't climate controlled at their price gouging prices. Climate controlled 10x10 units at their competitors for less than $200! Every single competitor in the area costs less than half of what Public Storage costs! Be wise with your money! There are plenty of options and, unfortunately , Public Storage, does not seem to value loyal customers! You will find more value elsewhere! I guarantee it!

Rebecca walked me through everything over the phone in a way that was clear, thorough, and never overwhelming. Ella was amazing in person--super friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel welcoming instead of transactional. You can tell they both really know what they're doing and actually care. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, climate-controlled (which I love), and feels very secure, which was a big priority for me. No weird storage-unit vibes. Super organized and well taken care of. I haven't moved in yet, but based on how smooth and thoughtful this whole experience has been so far, I feel really confident that move-in day will be just as seamless. The owner personally came to my home, inspected the area I wished to drop my box and where Pods had refused to drop, and the next day his driver came to my warehouse to drop off an empty container, waited while we loaded it which we had completed in under 30 minutes and then took my To Go Box to my home address where it sits now happily in my 75 foot long 1949 drive way by my garage:) The Driver could not have been more gracious, helpful and courteous. Just the day before the Pods driver had been disrespectful; pompous and uncooperative and thus I canceled service with them (they lost a 7 month service contract) and now happy as can be with To Go Box!:) There are many choices via these mobile storage boxes, as is I have tried three; Pack Rat tried to add on unmentioned delivery fees not listed on their website thus I canceled that; Pods practically impossible to communicate with by phone unless you want to wait 40+ minutes and then luck of the draw if the driver is professional and courteous or not and then lastly of the three To Go Box whom I love and will happily use until my work is done:) I cannot say enough positive things about this business and it's people.

I found a slightly larger locker at Public Storage, just around the corner, for $15 per month. Granted that is an introductory rate, but even if they double it after the introductory period, we will be at $30, which is still less than half price! On top of that, they never answer their phones for existing customers. I had to call as a new customer to finally get ahold of them. Bad service bad pricing! I don't recommend them!

There are plenty of other storage places where you would be working with decent management and people who will not try to overcharge you. They have also told me I am no longer allowed to rent a unit online, as the accounts clearly offer with a large button that says "add a new unit" and has the prices listed for each unit. So they charge random fees because they want to and do a bait and switch for units they offer online. Not to mention the raising prices every 6-12 months.

Brought it back and Ben worked on it, grinding away at hitch but still made noise. Took two more tries and replacing the rubber exhaust hangers to finally fix it. I bought the hangers myself and Ben installed them for free. Then I noticed I got a refund for the price of the hangers! Without asking , without receipt, they just refunded it to be nice. That is unheard of these days. I would certainly recommend Uhaul for trailer hitch installation!
