It had been about 2 years since I had visited The Station and I regret not taking my kids there to try some of best tasting burgers in the area. As a solo mother, cost and quantity are important to me, and the $10 cheeseburger with fries was the best surprise of the week. My children split one (they even gave them their own baskets with fries without being asked) The atmosphere is campy & nostalgia garage motif which made my kids even more relaxed & engrossed in the dozens of retro artwork and televisions. My kids were given popcorn and the owner allowed us to play darts (it was early lunch time) while the staff and customers were all just very nice to us. Terrible service from the bartender on a Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Then when given my bill as I had run a tab I signed it and did not leave a tip on the bill. I left a minimal cash tip. For some reason I did not trust the bartender amd I took a photo of my signed receipt. Few days later I checked my bank statement and someone at The Station had added a tip into my payment of 30%. When I called The Station I got the owner and she stated that she had a reprint of my receipt and it was listed as a walk out. She apologized and offered to refund me the 30%. But it had to be in cash so I had to go there to pick it up. When I got there. I asked if they had cameras and she acknowledged she did but since the bar back that I gave my signed receipt to was new she must have thrown it out. And the owner does not review cameras to confirm what her waitstaff/bartenders/bar backs do. So she just let's them add 30% tip to the receipt and hopes that you don't call her to question. In her words I am the first person to ever call her about this. So if you go to this establishment make sure u check your receipt to make sure they don't steal money from anyone else. We were invited out to this place and it is definitely a local fave (even has a membership program for a special group). Good selection of beers, awesome servers and capable bartenders. And for fun, pool tables and sports on the TVs ... they even host a Karaoke night! Recommend you come (on Thursdays) for that Karaoke. They do allow smoking inside so be ready for that. But they have garage doors they rollup for outdoor seating areas to let the fresh air in. We had fun and would come back. read more

I contacted the Station to see if they require a membership. They advised that they no longer do, which is good to know for new people since some of the reviews talk about having a membership. I will review them further once I visit them. Update: Glad I tried them out. Cool place: decent bar food, good drink selection, good live music on occasions, and a good place to meet locals and other bikers. Classic dive bar with membership so it can stay open late every day. Connected to a gas station, and the inside is most definitely smoky. The service was super friendly, drinks were strong, band was talented, parking was easy, and the prices were low. Overall, a good find!! read more

Treated Horribly! In my face, no mask, kicked out. DJ, who also tends bar some nights, announce "last call" at 10:30 and informed every one that all drinks would be collected at 10:59, cool, used to that. She went on to say (twice) that patrons could continue to watch Thursday Night Football after drinks were pulled, which was 6 minutes on the game clock. Shortly after 11:00 a young lady who was there partying with friends told me that I had to leave. I explained that I'd like to see the end of the game and she got in my face and said "no, you have to leave NOW". I asked why I was being singled out over the other 8-10 people still there and, "who are you"? She said that she worked there... that's when her boyfriend and another guy stepped in-between and forced me out the door. Mind you, there was no struggle as I complied and they were quite intimidating, mean and rude. The manager came to the door as I walked out, so I handed him my membership card. And that's it! Whenever a live band plays you get to experience all of the piercing sounds 2 or 3 more times as the reverberate off of the hard concrete block wall. It sounds so bad that You are guaranteed to start singing along because you can't hear the real lyrics. You can barely hear the person sitting right beside you! It's so awesome!!! Also, if you hate the song "Turn down for what", you are in for a bad time. That song is played every hour on the hour. Be sure to only order beer. If you want a mixed drink, or even just a shot of liquor, be prepared to whip out some big bucks. Although, I must admit that the food is pretty good. Basic greasy bar food, but it's good! Free popcorn and peanuts are hard to beat too! Some recommendations.... Add some foam padding to the walls and ceiling. A little bit will go a long way in making the bands and stereo system sound better. Even a few quilts or towels stapled to the ceiling. Decrease your liquor prices a little. We just moved here from Washington State. The place is fun welcoming and great people. It has entertainment and industry nights. The pizzas and Philly Cheese Steaks are amazing. Try the wings. Make sure to say hi to Marty for some real Philly charm. The bartender Dana is amazing also. The rest of the staff is just as good and happy to serve. 9/16/18 After years of being a loyal customer I have never been treated with such disrespect by the staff. Their aggression and expressions of pure hatred towards my friend and I will leave a permanent sour taste in my mouth that we will never forget. It was downright and utterly disgusting. Situation- My friend and I walked in at approximately 1:30am Sunday morning. We proceeded to the bar to order a drink but just then the lights flickered meaning last call, so we decided against getting a drink. We went to the nearest table beside the pool table and started a conversation with some people who were there. We got into talking about pool, and a patron there asked to see my pool stick which I had in my car. I brought my case in and pulled out my one stick that he wanted to look at. At that time, a bartender, which I will abbreviate her name (D.) Proceeded from behind the bar to our table where we were standing, just talking and told us we had to leave. It is my belief that we were singled out for some reason unbeknownst to either of us. We questioned her as to why, reasoning because we had 20 minutes before they shut down and we were just talking, not causing any trouble. Once we asked her why, she turned to another bartender behind the bar and made a scene telling her that we didn't want to leave. The bartender behind the bar looked at me and screamed you two get the f*** out now. I was taken back at the gravity of the situation and wondered why there was so much hostility. She then came to our table to yell in our faces, you two need to get the f*** out right the f*** now. She said you don't have any open tabs and you think your just gonna come in here and start to play pool? Which of course we weren't and had no intention to. She continued to scream vulgarity after vulgarity at our faces when we told her your singling us out for absolutely no reason. I then proceeded to pack my pool stick up and leave all while being cursed out as we were walking out. We came last year and were thrilled beyond words and have been back several times. My daughter is a member. The Philly steak every time I had it was piled THICK and was great as were the fries! My daughter has also been here numerous times with friends. Today was a HUGE disappointment. I got the chicken Philly-ugh! My daughter always gets the chicken Philly and suggested I try it. I could barely find the chicken--it was minced too much! My daughter tried part of my sandwich and was shocked. She and a friend had gone there for lunch recently and loved it. She stated the chicken was not like this one and was piled high in the past. The "chicken" looked like what i think canned chicken would look like--chopped to bits like tuna. NO TASTE. I could barely find the minced green peppers nor find the onions. Mushrooms? Tiny snippets so small I could barely see them nor were there that many in the sandwich. The sauce was too soupy. The other sandwiches in the past had a creamy cheese in it--not so with today's meal...no cheese? . Barely any meat, etc-today-mostly all bread! The sandwiches in the past have been piled with meat, etc--today, I had to OPEN the bread to see what was in there!!! The fries today were so so. Plus there were not as many fries in the basket as we have always been given for the various plates that have been ordered. When we got there today, my daughter ordered a margarita. She was given what looked like straight orange juice--thick and ORANGE. I took a sip--that was NO margarita! When the waitress brought our food, my daughter told her it seemed like orange juice--so she asked if too much orange juice!!! The waitress brought another "margarita." My daughter later said that it was so WATERED DOWN and not good since MANY many other times they were delicious!.An orange margarita? I have never had orange juice in one. An hour after eating, I had a rumbling stomach---.Just wish the owner were there, we would have expressed our extreme disappointment.--had this been the first time eating there I would NEVER RETURN!!! Do yourself a favor and keep driving! This place is awful! It's a "private club" but please don't let this term fool you into thinking there is even one ounce of class in this joint. I'm always cool with a little hole in the wall place, but let me explain The Station to you. I walk in with my husband and 2 friends last night (Friday around 7) and we were approached by a server who was by far the nastiest, rudest people I've come across in a very long time. She didn't say hello, she just started drilling us about if we were members or not (which we are, by the way). This chick was a total ZERO and was just a complete jerk! We got our drinks and were never asked if we wanted menus, so one of us approached the bar and our server to ask for menus. She rolled her eyes and handed the menus over. When she came to our table to take our order, she started complaining excessively about how they were short staff and the servers had to cook. She acted so put out, we decided not to order anything at all. When she said, "What would you like to order?", my husband responded with, "Well, you just talked us out of ordering anything else here at all.", and she walked away. Did I mention this was the 2nd time we've been here and the first experience was almost identical with an equally rude waitress? Oh, but that time we NEVER got a drink because they wouldn't approach our table for whatever reason (they were not busy at all), even after we tried waiving the girl down she kept telling us she'd "get to us in a minute". So, if you want horrid service, nasty and no-class servers, and a repulsive atmosphere, go to The Station! Let me start off positive and say they have pretty good food. Their philly cheese sandwich is one of the best I've had anywhere. There I'm done with the positive because while I love that sandwich I never get it because the service has been so horrible that I haven't gone back and don't plan to. The last two times we went in for a drink, we waited and waited....and waited. The waitress was too busy flirting with her regulars and talking with her bar buddies. We literally waited so long (about 30 min, not exaggerating) that we finally left. She ran to the door and said she was just getting ready to come over and I laughed. The final straw was when we stopped in one last time giving it one final shot and were told by our waitress, after waiting about 15 minutes that she hoped we weren't going to eat because they down a person and they didn't want to cook tonight.
