You head to the basement for this one. It is a cool location with a huge bourbon selection! The whiskey was good and the cocktails were amazing too. Staff was super fun. Great little bar downtown. We will be back for sure!

I ordered a Perfect Boulevardier-mostly because I wanted to try the Woodford malted. Add in Campari and both Antica sweet and dry vermouth, and it's a winner. Sadly, the server sat this in front of my husband. Blew her mind that it was for me.

Outstanding!!! What a great hidden gem. This place is for the ones who know their bourbon. Delicious snacks and out of this world drinks. The bartenders know how to sling drinks. Great service, friendly staff, wonderful place. It's a permanent must on my list.

what a wonderful find! it's in DT greenville, underground! very cool spot with a few TV for sports. nice bar, excellent bourbon/whiskey etc! they also have small snacks/food. excellent date spot, good place to bring friends and maybe family. kinda loud but fun. nice bartenders. decent prices. we will be back. we didn't eat the food but we will next time!

Great spot. Cozy, knowledgeable bartenders, bar is stocked to the brim with great bourbons, great selection on menu, and good food options. As of February 2021 also great social distancing. A nice speakeasy, prohibition feel being in the basement. These ladies can make anything and do it well. My first Boulvardier in Neat made for the most perfect rainy Thursday night. Check it out!

This selection is insane and unmatched. The new fashioned that I got was honestly one of the best versions of an old-fashioned I've ever had. The smokiness and the slight sweetness to this cocktail made it exceptionally good. The bacon popcorn was a fun addition that we had, but they have a lot of other apps that looked really good as well. The entire vibe of this place is great, they really do a good job of tying the entire theme together. The service that we had was awesome, quick, and everyone was very friendly.

This is the place…read moreto get the hard stuff that also tastes like an oatmeal cookie or watermelon taffy or a pumpkin roll. When you want to get drunk, but you also need your drink to look electric blue and taste like raspberry, you come here. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet drinks in general, and especially not sweet alcohol. But I wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to taste some of Old Forge Distillery's moonshine and gin. They also make vodka, whiskey and rum. The gin was good! It doesn't taste like traditional gin, because they age it in bourbon barrels, so it has a little bit of a caramel taste to it. (In my opinion.) The moonshine and the cream liqueurs are where you will find the crazy flavors. I think my favorite was the coffee moonshine, which tastes like a wonderfully spiked black coffee. Samples are plentiful. The bartender told us which ones were crowd favorites, and also recommended some that I would not have picked myself. They also have a huge gift shop with lots of tchotchkes, plus bottles of their goods to take home with you.

Just barely seared. My husband had scallops and oh my, were they ever delicious! I would pass on the potatoes. They're super heavy with their Barada sauce. And the artichoke dip had very little to no artichoke taste and it was way too thick! So I wouldn't do those, but the positives outweigh the negatives. Their old-fashioned was excellent, and their wine menu is great! The entire experience was worthy of repeating! It's fun to find good, fun dining experiences in Seneca.

The sauces for the steak were excellent. The steak was good, and while it can be fun to cook your dinner yourself right there at your table I think I'd do something different next time. I found the Bravas potatoes sauce a little too reminiscent of a zesty ketchup style dressing, they are not for me. I had two old fashioneds. A smoked version , which was very flavorful (albeit it pricey as I opted for a higher end bourbon) and a lavender old fashioned, which had a few fruit notes. I preferred the smoked. Our server was great and helped us choose a quick dessert so we could get things moving for my daughter, we got the fondue which she very much liked.

A Hidden Gem Worth Seeking Out…read more Wildwood Still is a fun find -- just know that the entrance can be a little tricky! There's an elevator in the alley outside, but we ended up taking the elevator inside the main lobby of The Moxy, which worked perfectly. Don't let the navigation stress you out; it's worth the effort once you get there. The vibe is a really cool blend of lounge and restaurant -- relaxed enough to linger, but polished enough to feel like a night out. We opted for three small plates and one large plate to share, which turned out to be a great way to sample the menu. Everything was well done and kept us wanting more bites. If you're a whiskey or bourbon fan, you'll be in heaven -- the selection is impressive and one of the clear highlights. Our server was friendly, clearly knew the menu inside and out, and did a great job staying attentive on what was a very busy Saturday night. We had a genuinely great time and would absolutely recommend Wildwood Still for a fun evening out. We'll be back!

GREAT ROOFTOP RESTAURANT!…read more We had a great time, the restaurant is so open that even if you aren't on the patio you still enjoy the breeze and view of the outside. Drinks were yummy. All food tasted good. A highlight of the night was the calamari and shrimp. Maybe it's a bit of a reading comprehension issue, but for the bao buns we (a table of 5 people) all read the number 5 and thought it meant it came with 5 bao, but it was actually for 2 bao and the menu meant 5 spice as in 5 spices. I feel like the menu should reword the description to remove the number 5, or be more clear that it actually comes with 2 especially for the price!!!! The description literally started with the number 5, which makes it confusing. This place ain't cheap, and I do like to splurge. Service didn't seem to match the price point of this restaurant, service should be high end with high end prices. All in all, I'd come again but it's not my favorite choice in downtown Asheville.

I had the Up In the Air. I'm more sensitive to sweetness than most, so even though our waiter said it wasn't particularly sweet, I asked them to cut the sweetness further and they accommodated it without issue. My friend had the Ginger's Have More Fun, made with their own house ginger liqueur instead of ginger beer. It wasn't overly syrupy, but the syrup notes were present enough to undercut what could've otherwise been a more refreshing drink. We split the Nacho Average Nachos. It was great for picking at while we chatted and had a good concept, with a solid mix of pickled toppings, rich queso, and protein, and chips that held up fine (no sogginess). The execution didn't rise above the idea. It was a fine, forgettable plate rather than a memorable one. Good portion for two, though. Overall, a nice spot for golden hour drinks if you're already in the area, but not somewhere I'd make a specific trip for.
