Amazing time spent here. Our server Taylor was so attentive and so sweet. A really relaxing & excellent time. Taylor really added to our experience, would love to come back again!

Went here and sat at the bar after a long day of climbing. It is a nice atmosphere, the service was wonderful, and the short ribs were some of the best I've ever had. Also they got the potato to short rib ratio right...

Stopped in for dinner Saturday night while spending a weekend in the Hudson Valley. I made a reservation via email a week prior but we changed our seats to the bar when we arrived since there was space and we wanted a more casual vibe. The bartender working Saturday night was very friendly and chatted with us throughout our meal. To start, we shared the burrata special which came with 4 pieces of toasted bread. For our mains, I had the pumpkin ravioli special and my boyfriend tried the meatloaf. Both dishes were generous portions and very good. We finished off the meal with the cheesecake. We also each ordered the mule off the cocktail menu which they made with ginger ale vs. ginger beer which gave it a nice taste. Was a very enjoyable meal and glad we stopped by while visiting the neighborhood

Syrah braised short rib.

Made a last minute reservation Thursday for their dinner. It was pouring out there, but they have an screened-in porch area that we can sit. We were there for their duck breast, but they were out; they have a double duck confit for the night in place of the duck breast. So we got the duck confit, strip steak, and braised short rib for the 4 of us. Honestly, their food was mediocre at best; the steak was not seasoned well, the duck confit was a bit too salty, and the braised short ribs were kind of tough. They are missing half of the items in their dessert menu also. So food was worth 3 stars. The extra star is for their accommodation. It was pouring rain outside, rain was splashing in through the screen. The owner / manager lady was really helpful when we expressed our concern. Made multiple suggestions to help, even offering to move us to another section, thankful for that. Their pre-caution with patrons is superb. No guests can come in without masks, and they can only take masks off when seated. Hope we will be back in the area in the fall to try something new in their menu.

I did want to add chorizo on it but they said no because chorizo was only available for their special dish which they had. The skillet was really delicious; it had the sauce and the fluffy eggs. I would have like some guacamole or something a pico de gallo for a bit of citrus. That is my only suggestion. My niece ordered chicks and waffles and it was good. The chicken was juicy and the waffle was good as well sweet but not overly sweet. We got the chicken wings which were good; my niece said the wings were too crispy but I love a crispy wing. The flavor palette of cheese and garlic worked well especially with the sauce they provide. Overall the meal was good and delicious. I also ordered a warm apple cider and that was good. We also ordered dessert and that was ok; we had something chocolate with ice cream. The chocolate item was really rich. The service was good; the waitress was attentive. The place gives a homey and neighbor atmosphere. So I would not drive 40 minutes again for it; so I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

A very relaxed/casual vibe with counter ordering and super friendly staff. Plenty of room to sit; while this isn't a full service dining room, the decor is quite cozy with a laid back feel. This is classic comfort food and pub fare without the unnecessary extras. Burgers, sandwiches, fries, and the kind of menu where just about everyone can find something they'll enjoy. Nothing fancy, nothing trendy--just straightforward food that's hard to mess up. The service was excellent during my visit. Friendly staff, quick turnaround, and everything came out exactly as ordered. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it an easy choice when you're looking for a casual meal. Was it life-changing? No. Am I writing home about the greatest burger I've ever had? Also no. But I walked away full, satisfied, and feeling like I got exactly what I came for. Pizza Beast Score: 3.5/5 "A good, honest American meal with great service. No nonsense, no surprises, and sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for."

There is a sign, that there is no Wi-Fi. You actually have to *GASP* talk to each other as if it were back in the 90s. :) You order at the front counter, and then when your food is ready, you walk up to the kitchen window and pick it up. I decided to try the 209 hash. Two eggs, Potatoes, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, sausage, and tomatoes. While the food was good and the over easy eggs were done right, everything was pretty oily. From the potatoes, to the mushrooms, everything. I mean yes, there was bacon and sausage, but there shouldn't have been so much oil on everything else. Again, it did taste good, and it was very rich, but all of the oil took away from the meal, just a little bit. Next time I'm passing by, I would stop again, but this time I would get something else. Thank you.
