It took me maybe two minutes and my sammich was out in about five more. No choice but five stars! Food- So they bake their own rolls here which is a big plus. The gold standard for cheesesteak is an Amoroso roll from the Philadelphia area. These are not that but very good. There was plenty of tender meat with no fatty pieces. Good stuff! Here they add peppers onions & mushrooms, and I have no problem with that, and they were tasty. They use White American cheese, and it was tasty and there was plenty of it. Now for something weird and wonderful. A couple of years ago a good friend asked me to try adding pepperoni to my cheesesteak. I did and it was awesome! I've been doing it ever since and this time it costs me an extra buck. The basic sandwich is $11.99. I brought this bad boy home, and you can see my picture. This fine location is my closest for now, but they are building a new one in my teeny tiny town as I type this. Arriving- Directly on US Rout 27 North so easy peasy. As with most Wawa's it's very busy so slow down and be careful when you park. While you're there, take advantage of their two free air machines for your tires. They're famous for that! When you park, take notice that many close-in spaces are numbered. Ambience- Boatloads of gas pumps with good prices. Not always the best gas price but close and the great food makes up for it. Inside it is bright and cheery and clean. It's 99% take-out so don't plan on sitting inside. The App- I think it's great and I especially like Curbside Pickup! I like it so much that I rarely go inside anymore! Just park in a clearly numbered spot! Customer Service- I'm usually doing Curbside Pickup so it's just one delivery person. They are almost always on time and often a little ahead of the time specified in the app. I have never had an incorrect order. The delivery person is always friendly so five stars. Food- So, every kind of drink you can imagine, and an amazing choice of sandwiches along with pizza. This has all been revamped. The new system is "Every 4th Footlong Free!" 1 Footlong = 1 stamp 6-inch sub = 1/2 a stamp 3 stamps = 1 free Footlong This seems much simpler than the old system and I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs. There is also still Subway Cash. I'll leave it to you to read the fine print. For this visit, as usual, I used the App to order the Footlong, 5-Meat Sub with all my usual add-ons. The App performed perfectly. Ambience- This is a clean, typical Subway. I always order on the App and never eat in so the only thing I really care about is cleanliness and it's always been spotless.
