What a fancy little dessert/drink spot. We go the Butterfly Calamansi and the Creme Brulee Coffee to go with the Strawberry Mousse and the Nutella Bear. The drinks were smooth and the desserts were light and fluffy -- just enough to quench our thirst and satisfy our sweet tooth. The parking lot was full even though this restaurant was empty. The restroom was clean. The service was great. The server/cashier gave us great attention. The restaurant is very well maintained. This is a great spot to just sit, enjoy some snacks/drinks, and hang out with friends.
We've been waiting for a soecial occasion to go to this special place for a while, and my friend's birthday came up! Not busy, easy parking, variety of uncommon flavors, and beautiful set up and furniture selection. The taste/quality of food was okay, it was the first time we don't finish our olates of dessert...most taste like plain creamcheese, off tecture- definitely look better than they taste. Might give it another try in the future if I see good reviews indicating better tasting options.
The desserts here were so cute! They were out of a couple of things but there was still plenty for us to try. Service here is great and the atmosphere is so cute. Decent prices too with a great value for what you get and everything is delicious. So why the four stars. We ordered four things and the box that they put it in, you have to be very careful You keep it completely flat and don't tilt it at all. Otherwise everything topples on top of each other which is what happened with my desserts. I think it would've been easier in a basic box to keep upright versus the beautiful handle box. The coffee here and tea are both excellent as well. Make sure you get something to drink to go along with your dessert.
This has become our go to spot when we run away from our children. Their cute little mousse characters is what drew me in to begin with. Have tried them? Nope .. The service is good. If you don't have any patience, the service may feel slower than you'd like. When we come here it's usually later at night so there's only one worker. If you decide to eat there, they do bring your items to your table. The interior is pretty cool. They have areas with cool chairs and a coffee table in between and they have regular tables & chairs. Things we've tried: pistachio strawberry, Ube cheesecake, matcha tiramisu, red velvet, guava cheesecake, passion cherry pineapple cheesecake, pandas Ube mousse, mango passion, and a phletora or lattes.
It's really good taste and pretty looks. My sister was very happy to get it for her birthday.
I came with my friend as she said this was one of her favorite dessert spots and it was an interesting experience. Interior has enough seating and service was nice. It was relatively clean, the tables were kinda sticky which was meh to me. We got their Blooming Tea (hot), Strawberry Slush, Passion Cherry Pineapple, and Lychee Mousse. The Blooming tea tasted surprisingly subtle and calming, it paired well with the Lychee Mousse as it tasted subtly light with lychee jellies inside. The Passion Cherry Pineapple tasted strong as you can taste more of the cherry's tart. I wasn't really into it as much as the Lychee. The Strawberry Slush was just ok, it tasted diluted at first then got better.

When we first walked in, the desserts were beautifully displayed, though no one was at the counter right away. Once the lady came out, she was friendly--though not overly so. We ordered 2 desserts which looked super cute and were definitely tasty, though it didn't completely blow me away. The tea was served in charming little cups that added a nice touch to the experience. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing stop--perfect for an afternoon treat or a quiet conversation over sweets. Nothing over-the-top, but I still really enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely come back when I'm craving something sweet
I been to this place a couple times to satisfy the sweet tooth. Super sick eye candy, petite sizes, and ranges about $9 a pop. From sweetest/heaviest to lightest/refreshing: Dragonfruit Berry, Pineapple Cherry Passion, Yuzu Mango Mousse There's usually one person working hard and polite there. Not much else to say on that end I just get my dessert n get straight to it. The store looked like some cool art deco interior, with really comfortable seats. My ONE complaint, is that I can never seem to catch their dessert specials that aren't in the cases. The really pretty ones you see on this yelp, IG, or their website. They say that they MIGHT get their dry ice on Saturdays which is part of the special. I kinda just wish it was more available, I'm certain it would earn this last star
Located off Beach Bl in Stanton. A good amount of parking. The place is nice has a good amount of tables and seats. I got the Nutella gluten free bear. It was very good and not too sweet. The gal and guy working here were both helpful, nice and friendly. Overall had a good experience here and the bear was yummy I'll have to come back and get it again along with a drink.
Overall a casual quiet spot. The desserts were decent but nothing to write home about. Nice if you want individual sized desserts and seems like a nice gift. The service was decent, the bring out the cakes to you on plates which is nice! Wouldn't mind going again when in the area but not itching to go back. Next time I'm intrigued to get a drink. Friend said it was quite good
Checked out The Spoon with my daughter. Wow- the ube cheesecake was delicious and so pretty. It was not too sweet and was just so tasty- was very pleasantly surprised. Want to go back to try some other desserts. Nice ambiance.
This is a cute cafe with an assortment of cakes and drinks down the street from Knottsberry Farm. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quiet with plenty of comfortable seating. The selection was a bit limited when I got there so I didn't get to try everything I wanted, but they did refill the kiosk as the afternoon went on. Overall, the desserts here are really aesthetic and there's more cakes I would like to try if I'm in the area next time. As for each: The earl grey bear I came for was decent; it kinds of tastes like ice cream, was super cute, but is lacking a bit of something extra. The lychee pig was so-so. I liked the matcha tiramisu the best! The smoking jasmine was a miss for me; the lychee inside the mousse was pretty sludgy and tart, which I thought did not match well with the jasmine. The cakes were also smaller than expected; the three of us shared four desserts. Free parking lot behind the cafe; just make sure not to park in a residential apartment spot. Service is nice!

I'm not a huge fan of desserts but the Spoon is a decent spot to get a not too sweet dessert fix. My group ordered the Nutella bear, Matcha tiramisu, and Ube cheesecake. I'm not a fan of chocolate, so I didn't like the Nutella bear that much. My favorite was the Matcha tiramisu because it was light and I love anything matcha. The ube cheesecake was okay, because it was a little tart from the cheese and I felt like it needed more sugar (shocking because I don't like when things are too sweet). read more

Came back here last Saturday and it was better than the first time and the first time was amazing!! We came when they first opened and they've stepped their game up since which is always cool to see. The desserts were better with more variety and the iced teas were exceptional. I recommend getting at least 1 dessert per person and maybe two ppl can share 1 tea but depends how thirsty you are. Look forward to coming back again when we're in the area. Service was great and ambiance is great as well. My favorites, Thai Tea Panna Cotta, Oreo Cheesecake, and the Guava dessert which I can't remember the full name. read more

The Spoon is very clean, a very nice place to have a latte and dessert. The thing that impressed me the most was they use metal silverware and real mugs. So many places don't, and I pray for a return to this. Very quint. Please open one at 39 Commons in Anaheim on Beach past Lincoln if they ever finish the construction! read more

I got the hazelnut bear which was delicious but also pretty pricey. The atmosphere was very cozy and I really enjoyed it. However the dessert wasn't really worth the $9 but I would visit just for the experience :) read more

I saw how pretty these desserts were online and decided to try this spot. They had so many cute options to choose from, so we decided to try their mint chocolate, lychee, and nutella flavor. We also got their peach tea, ube latte, and creme brulee latte. The drinks were not bad and wasn't too sweet, but the cakes were a let down because it lacked flavor. The lychee and Nutella flavor was very faint, while the mint chocolate tasted like strong mint leaves. The staff were nice and there were plenty of tables to sit in with minimalistic decor. read more

Such a fun, unique place. It would have earned 5 stars if they had dairy free/vegan options. Tasty decaf latte (with oatmilk) & a yuzu mango meringue (least amount of dairy to be consumed with dairy enzymes). The desserts are not overly sweet. Quite tasty! read more

Came here a couple times and tried a fair amount of desserts. I have a few concerns with some of the desserts, but I really love this place and I'm super glad they opened because this is a step up from your usual dessert place. The desserts range from $6-8 which is great considering these contemporary desserts they offer beat any other dessert place there is in the area imo. Some people say vintage is better, but trust, for the look and taste of these desserts, they beat the price and any sweet craving you will have. The service here was great. They package it beautifully if you decide to take it to go, but if you decide on enjoying it there, they serve it to you and you get a wonderful view outside. (Came here sunset so it was just perfect!) First things first, I noticed they had UBE CHEESECAKE and I instant ordered. That was the first thing I tried and my gosh the taste just melted in my mouth??? It's so good. It's not too sweet, just perfect. A must if you come here. The only issue I have with this dessert is the little edible beads they have on top, which is beautiful by the way, but it was just very hard to get into. Getting into it felt like I was eating an actual bead. MATCHA TIRAMISU: I was not a big fan, it didn't taste like tiramisu to me, it was more straight matcha than anything else. I just wish there was some resemblance of some kind of tiramisu there. Anyway, moving on.. (Edit: they improved the look and taste of the matcha tiramisu, and it's so much better. This one's a hit!) CALAMANSI PANNA COTTA: An amazing dessert showcasing calamansi. It had the best texture and the taste was subtle but showcased the Philippine lime very well. It tasted like a very exotic orange dessert. If you like creamy desserts, try this one. GUAVA CHEESECAKE: Hands down BEST dessert here 10/10 I shouldn't have to say more. They knocked it out the park with this one. If you like guava, or if you don't, I would still recommend this anyway. MANGO PASSION: This is my new favorite, the combination of the two fruits is out of this world. I enjoyed every bite 100/10. Overall, this place is truly one of a kind. I'm very glad that I have the privilege of coming here often. To me, no dessert shop will beat this place... sorry not sorry..! read more

the spoon is amazing! a must try place. the interior is super aesthetic and a good place to chill and talk or do some work. the food and drinks we tried we all amazing. ube cheesecake: super delicious. the ube flavor was not very pronounced, but it did balance out the cheesiness of the cheesecake. nutella mousse (teddy bear): this was also super delicious. the mousse was very light which i like and the nutella flavor was just right, not too overpowering while still tasting like nutella. lychee mousse (bunny): this one tasted just like the lychee jellies you buy from the store. mousse was nice and light and i think they put actual pieces of lychee in there. strawberry brazillian limeade: this drink was super refreshing. all the ingredients tasted fresh. it is a bit sour, which i like, but just keep that in mind. honeydew smoothie: this was my least favorite bc im not a huge fam of honeydew. it is also a little sour so just keep that in mind. it was still tasty. service was great. whoever was working the front counter was super helpful and nice. i drove 50 minutes to come here and i would definitely come again!! read more

It was our first time trying this place last night. We came at 9:50pm (they close at 10pm) but they still accommodated us. The whole place is so cute. The chairs and tables they used are all different but they worked well together. My top 3 out of all the desserts we ordered were the ube cheesecake, oreo cheesecake and the strawberry pistachio but you cannot go wrong with any of their desserts (at least from the ones we ordered). I am not a nutella fan but it was not bad either. My 12 year old niece finished one bear. The owner's sons helped her with cleaning the tables. They're so cute!!! I applaud the mom for training her kids to help even at a young age. read more

I am shocked this cute hidden gem was not more packed. The durian was probably my favorite and the guava cheesecake was a close second. Who I assume is shop owner, was incredibly nice and welcoming. All the desserts were almost too cute to eat. I am glad we found this place. read more

Have to say it was so good ... tried a lot of flavors bc it's so interesting looking ... they are so light and and just melt in your mouth. It all pairs well with the jasmine tea we got. We were like " I want that, this, that.... Uh that too..." why not !!!! They so pretty. Have to say the Oreo is pretty good... and the durian is so light .... The Asian-inspired dessert here, especially the pink sleepy bear, was almost too cute to eat. Overall, I was more impressed by the design than the taste, although I did enjoy the filling in the yuzu mango meringue-shaped dessert. Very cute desserts to enjoy. I wanted to share my excitement with my daughter as it truly was cute desserts. UNFORTUNATELY the price did not match the product. Dessert was too small for the price $8-$9 each. We took ours to-go. (JUST WANTED TO BE HONEST ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE DESSERTS). More of a disappointment after buying desserts there. We over paid for the looks. :( read more

This was our first visit here. We were pleasantly surprised. The spoon is amazing! The desserts are not only stunning, but scrumptious! Every bite is a surprise for your mouth. The crème brûlée coffee (hot) is sublime. The employee/owner was so sweet and gracious. We arrived just 30 minutes before closing and they still served us. Then people came in five minutes till closing and she welcomed them to dine in as well. The decor is nice and classy. Even the spoons for the desserts and coffee are cute and upscale. My gf found this spot on yelp. We came in and were greeted very nicely! The first thing that caught our eye was the beautiful desserts as you enter. All the desserts looked amazing! We ordered a Nutella bear 7/10. Loved the aesthetics, I'm sad to say that the dessert was ok it wasn't as sweet as I'd like a dessert to be. We also ordered a rose açaí cheesecake 8/10. Loved the aesthetics and it was better than the Nutella bear. We also ordered 2 Vietnamese coffees 7/10. I loved that it was strong, I just wish it was a bit sweeter. Overall it's a nice place to come check out. I'd recommended you come in early to make sure you get a bear dessert because once they sale out they don't make anymore. read more

Came in on a Friday morning around 11am. My friend and I were instantly greeted when we walked through the door. The cafe had a cute and cozy aesthetic, and they had so many great dessert options to choose from. I ordered the iced Ube Cafe Latte and the Nutella Bear mousse. The items were served to us very quickly and both tasted delicious. I am definitely coming back here in the future. read more

Fun place.. this dessert was more for show. If you like fruity dessert this was it but i personally would have gotten the chocolate one next time. Good options for drinks too. Nice place to bring your laptop to do some work and have tea or coffee. read more

So much variety of desserts to choose from, and each one has a fruit at the center. Not a lot of sugar which is perfect, very aromatic sweets. I loved the coffee and they have a solid espresso machine and authentic tea pots to keep tea warm throughout the visit. The place itself has plenty of comfortable seating and the music is soft, no direct big light, super chill, it's perfect to meet friends or relax! I went to this place for the first time with friends and it's got a cute aesthetic food wise and interior wise. Staff was really friendly. Onto the treats as you can see in the pictures we tried a lot lol my ultimate favorites were the guava cheesecake one and mango passion fruit one!! They were full of flavor and blended well together!! They all look aesthetically beautiful and cute. The pig and bear one's taste exactly like they are, nothing surprising except their cute looks I can't remember the drinks but I do remover liking them and finishing them lol. We ordered a crème brûlée latte, Ube cafe latte, jasmine coco oreo and a matcha tiramisu and overall it was a 6/10. Crème brûlée was good and strong, I liked this out of the four things we ordered. 5/5 stars Ube latte was a 0/5 stars it was grainy and tasted like sugary water. The coffee was lacking and I think the Ube they use wasn't mixed properly, there were just a lot of little bits that I would chew in the drink and I didn't really like that. Don't recommend this, pretty presentation, just not good. Jasmine coco oreo 2/5 stars, very floral I think it was rose, texture was interesting, Match tiramisu 5/5 stars it wasn't too sweet, the white cream was really good, the cake was kinda icy, but the matcha flavor was amazing. read more

My friend and I decided to come here for dessert on a Wednesday evening. When we got there it was empty and nobody was behind the register; I'm assuming they were probably busy in the back which is totally okay but we waited for a good 3-5 mins before someone came out to help us. We even called out and asked if anyone was there. Maybe if there was a bell we can ring it would've been helpful. I understand they might have been short staffed or busy but it just felt weird waiting in silence for so long haha. The dessert is very cute and the prices aren't bad at all. I ordered the hazelnut bear which is super cute but not very sweet at all and also the tiramisu which also wasn't very sweet and a bit watery/bland. The desserts are a lot cuter than they taste in my opinion. The cafe itself is cute and they offer a free tea when you check in on Yelp. The kumquat tea I got was refreshing but sour. Overall this dessert was a cute concept and the desserts look beautiful but I wouldn't say it tasted as good as it looks. read more

The bear is $9, the pig and the bunny are $8 each. There are different flavors. I had Nutella bear, but I think they also have guava mango cheesecake bear.
