What a fancy little dessert/drink spot. We go the Butterfly Calamansi and the Creme Brulee Coffee to go with the Strawberry Mousse and the Nutella Bear. The drinks were smooth and the desserts were light and fluffy -- just enough to quench our thirst and satisfy our sweet tooth. The parking lot was full even though this restaurant was empty. The restroom was clean. The service was great. The server/cashier gave us great attention. The restaurant is very well maintained. This is a great spot to just sit, enjoy some snacks/drinks, and hang out with friends.
We've been waiting for a soecial occasion to go to this special place for a while, and my friend's birthday came up! Not busy, easy parking, variety of uncommon flavors, and beautiful set up and furniture selection. The taste/quality of food was okay, it was the first time we don't finish our olates of dessert...most taste like plain creamcheese, off tecture- definitely look better than they taste. Might give it another try in the future if I see good reviews indicating better tasting options.
The desserts here were so cute! They were out of a couple of things but there was still plenty for us to try. Service here is great and the atmosphere is so cute. Decent prices too with a great value for what you get and everything is delicious. So why the four stars. We ordered four things and the box that they put it in, you have to be very careful You keep it completely flat and don't tilt it at all. Otherwise everything topples on top of each other which is what happened with my desserts. I think it would've been easier in a basic box to keep upright versus the beautiful handle box. The coffee here and tea are both excellent as well. Make sure you get something to drink to go along with your dessert.
This has become our go to spot when we run away from our children. Their cute little mousse characters is what drew me in to begin with. Have tried them? Nope .. The service is good. If you don't have any patience, the service may feel slower than you'd like. When we come here it's usually later at night so there's only one worker. If you decide to eat there, they do bring your items to your table. The interior is pretty cool. They have areas with cool chairs and a coffee table in between and they have regular tables & chairs. Things we've tried: pistachio strawberry, Ube cheesecake, matcha tiramisu, red velvet, guava cheesecake, passion cherry pineapple cheesecake, pandas Ube mousse, mango passion, and a phletora or lattes.
It's really good taste and pretty looks. My sister was very happy to get it for her birthday.
I came with my friend as she said this was one of her favorite dessert spots and it was an interesting experience. Interior has enough seating and service was nice. It was relatively clean, the tables were kinda sticky which was meh to me. We got their Blooming Tea (hot), Strawberry Slush, Passion Cherry Pineapple, and Lychee Mousse. The Blooming tea tasted surprisingly subtle and calming, it paired well with the Lychee Mousse as it tasted subtly light with lychee jellies inside. The Passion Cherry Pineapple tasted strong as you can taste more of the cherry's tart. I wasn't really into it as much as the Lychee. The Strawberry Slush was just ok, it tasted diluted at first then got better.

When we first walked in, the desserts were beautifully displayed, though no one was at the counter right away. Once the lady came out, she was friendly--though not overly so. We ordered 2 desserts which looked super cute and were definitely tasty, though it didn't completely blow me away. The tea was served in charming little cups that added a nice touch to the experience. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing stop--perfect for an afternoon treat or a quiet conversation over sweets. Nothing over-the-top, but I still really enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely come back when I'm craving something sweet
I been to this place a couple times to satisfy the sweet tooth. Super sick eye candy, petite sizes, and ranges about $9 a pop. From sweetest/heaviest to lightest/refreshing: Dragonfruit Berry, Pineapple Cherry Passion, Yuzu Mango Mousse There's usually one person working hard and polite there. Not much else to say on that end I just get my dessert n get straight to it. The store looked like some cool art deco interior, with really comfortable seats. My ONE complaint, is that I can never seem to catch their dessert specials that aren't in the cases. The really pretty ones you see on this yelp, IG, or their website. They say that they MIGHT get their dry ice on Saturdays which is part of the special. I kinda just wish it was more available, I'm certain it would earn this last star
Located off Beach Bl in Stanton. A good amount of parking. The place is nice has a good amount of tables and seats. I got the Nutella gluten free bear. It was very good and not too sweet. The gal and guy working here were both helpful, nice and friendly. Overall had a good experience here and the bear was yummy I'll have to come back and get it again along with a drink.
Overall a casual quiet spot. The desserts were decent but nothing to write home about. Nice if you want individual sized desserts and seems like a nice gift. The service was decent, the bring out the cakes to you on plates which is nice! Wouldn't mind going again when in the area but not itching to go back. Next time I'm intrigued to get a drink. Checked out The Spoon with my daughter. Wow- the ube cheesecake was delicious and so pretty. It was not too sweet and was just so tasty- was very pleasantly surprised. Want to go back to try some other desserts. Nice ambiance.
This is a cute cafe with an assortment of cakes and drinks down the street from Knottsberry Farm. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quiet with plenty of comfortable seating. The selection was a bit limited when I got there so I didn't get to try everything I wanted, but they did refill the kiosk as the afternoon went on. Overall, the desserts here are really aesthetic and there's more cakes I would like to try if I'm in the area next time. As for each: The earl grey bear I came for was decent; it kinds of tastes like ice cream, was super cute, but is lacking a bit of something extra. The lychee pig was so-so. I liked the matcha tiramisu the best! The smoking jasmine was a miss for me; the lychee inside the mousse was pretty sludgy and tart, which I thought did not match well with the jasmine. The cakes were also smaller than expected; the three of us shared four desserts. Free parking lot behind the cafe; just make sure not to park in a residential apartment spot. Service is nice!

Desserts were yummy and not overly sweet. The lychee mousse was super soft, creamy, and had a strong lychee flavor! I'd would come back to try their other flavors and cakes. Price is a little on the higher end, but makes sense because of the fancy design of their cakes. The cafe is large and spacious; great for hanging out with friends. read more
Decided to be a rebel and have dessert before dinner. Boy oh boy I do not regret my decision I've been eyeballing this place for a while now. I've seen the beautiful pics and I've been wondering are these desserts more than just a pretty face? The answer is yes, yes they are. I don't think I need to describe how beautiful these desserts are. Especially with all the amazing photos all these great yelpers have uploaded on here The flavor of these blew me away! The ambiance is absolutely amazing! This place is so cute! I can honestly say I have never sat inside a bakery / dessert shop before (I usually get my stuff to go) but this place is so pretty! They have couches and adorable chairs that are extremely comfortable (And spotless) The staff was really helpful, they have a lot of flavors I've never tried before and they gave me their recommendations I ended up getting - A tiramisu Red velvet Oreo cheesecake Nutella bear (gluten free) And A dulce de leche I am not kidding when I say every single one of these were great. I honestly couldn't pick which one was my favorite The parking situation is awesome They have plenty of private parking right up front They also have little WiFi codes you can scan on the tables. So that's awesome if you are here for a while enjoying all your desserts They do have music playing but it's not loud at all. It has a really relaxing vibe The amazing woman working here also brought out two ice waters (without us even asking) I'll have to come back and try something from their nice sized drink menu There's also some outdoor seating And they also have two private bathrooms. The one I went into was extremely clean. I hate going into public bathrooms with stalls where I have to listen to people do their business I'll 1000000 percent come back here!!! The only thing missing was a glass of champagne lol P.S. they also sell full sized cakes. Which are absolutely stunning. On the menu they seem to run around 45 dollars depending on which one you get. Such a nice cafe to relax for a while and enjoy their beautifully crafted desserts and drinks! The restaurant is very clean and has a nice open feel. I like how they created different sitting areas with different furniture. They also have a long space for larger parties. The service is well paced and super friendly. The dessert choices offer so many flavors that it was hard for me to choose! They also offer a few desserts that are pure art! We had the hypnosis! The flavor of their drinks and desserts is so delicious! Many times you find beauty without flavor, that is NOT the case here. You will get both! Best girl's dessert outing ever. We were thinking of places to go after the gym and this was the perfect place. It's so cute inside, you feel like you're at a tea party. They have so many desserts to choose from and cute character ones as well. We had a nut-allergy friend and she was able to have many options there as well. Besides the super cute desserts, they also have coffee and tea drinks and whole cakes for purchase. My favorite was the Nutella bear. The lychee bunny was also a favorite. We got the pistachio and mango mini cakes as well. Everything was delicious. Everyone helping us was very nice and made us feel at home. There's a parking lot but if it's full there are more spots by the Wendy's. The prices were decent, between $5-$7, and there's plenty of inside seating. All the desserts were flavourful without being overly sweet. Great meet up place for friends. Parking: there's a lot and more by the Wendy's. What an interesting little spot, and in of all places, Stanton! This little boutique is quaint with plenty of seating. The decor is clean and different. The ceiling patterns were neat to look at and I loved the little space with bright and bold furniture. The service was quick and kind. There was no rush feeling. We ordered a blueberry lemon cheesecake and a mango dessert. These are the very big but just the right size for a quick sweet nibble. Also ordered was a tea and I ordered the pumpkin spice latte on ice. I don't think there was enough or hardly any caffeine in it but if you want a pumpkin pie in liquid form - this is it! Oh my gosh I have never seen desserts like this place has. Each one is so well thought out. Each is a work of art. The taste is not overly sweet but perfect. The peach iced tea was delicious. Their presentation is so pretty. The glass the iced tea was served in was so pretty. The spoon served with my dessert was dainty and beautiful. I can't wait to go back !!! read more

When we went, it wasn't busy, but it took a while for the server/cashier to greet us. Visually, the desserts look amazing. Like art. However, taste wise, I wasn't impressed. There wasn't anything great about the mousse. I felt some lacked in flavor (matcha kalamanci) Being forward, it didn't leave a lasting impression. It wasn't worth the price imo. Just to be sure, we ordered a mix of desserts and drinks. Did not taste as good as it looked. Some also came partly frozen. There's plenty of seats. Some may be a bit tight. read more

The Spoon is a cute but modern take on classic desserts with an Asian twist. It's located inside of a plaza, making parking very accessible and plentiful. Walking into the establishment, there are plenty of tables to sit at to enjoy your desserts and drink. I loved how cute the aesthetic was with the decor, plants, and furniture choice. The cashier who helped us was very friendly, and I appreciate how he would provide us his suggestions/recommendations for the ones we were stuck on! We ended up ordering the Lychee Rose Rabbit, Thai Tea Panna Cotta, and the Soursop Iced Tea. The Lychee Rose was my favorite! It wasn't as jiggly as I thought, but you can really taste the flavors of both the lychee and the rose, without it feeling too artificial. The Thai Tea was also very potent and I loved the texture, as it reminded me of mousse! The iced tea was also so delicious and refreshing. A nice tart to counter the rest of our sweet desserts. Overall, I really enjoyed my sweet treat at The Spoon! I highly recommend this dessert spot to anyone trying to grab a sweet and Instagrammable dessert. read more

A cute place with cute desserts! They're famous for their nutella bear and while it is a very simple dish it is very tasty. In the middle of the bear are little nuts which I thought was a nice surprise. All the desserts are not too sweet and although it does seem quite small I think this kind of portion left me satisfied. The ambiance was quite nice and relaxing and the guy taking our order was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. You order at the register and they'll bring your drinks and dessert right to you. The perfect place if you line mousse and cheesecake desserts. read more
First off, the decor. Great job to whoever designed this place. On to the food. We got the yuzu mango mousse cake and the melona honeydew coco cake. I'd give the yuzu cake a 4/5. It was tangy, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet (on a scale of 1-10, it would be like a 6). The honeydew cake was probably like a 3/5. Came by on a Friday evening at 6pm. Not too busy, but took us awhile to decide on what to get because everything looked so good! Ended up ordering too much anyways. A bit pricey, but the craftsmanship of each piece was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed each item and appreciated all the different flavors! Spooning with someone is definitely a real treat but doing it with these desserts and a tongue just can't be beat. So eye pleasing to look at with all its curves with the flavor to match and that is my word. I'm not going to name all the desserts I ordered but I'll tell you none of them disappointed my tastebuds. I also had a couple of drinks and those I'll definitely name. The Ube latte was spot on with flavor and it came in a glass cup and not like other establishments that have the it but pick and chose who gets it, Ahem!!! Anyways! Their creme brulee latte was also on point with flavor and I can just imagine how good the rest of the drinks are. The atmosphere is chill and they offer other eye pleasing desserts but one has to be there early before they run out. Service was also on point and I definitely enjoyed their playlist. Fun, tasty, unique. Staff is nice. Seats are okay, tables are not comfortable because they are so low and far from the fancy seats. They need to be a good 12" taller to be able to eat from when sharing. If eating solo you can pick up the saucer and eat your dessert like you would hold a tea cup and saucer. I'd put it at $$ price. You can tell there is a lot of detail to the desserts which is very eye catching, the bear is definitely a must! read more
This is a dessert place with really cute sweet treats. The pictures brought me in to brighten up my day. Some dessert pieces are better than others, so knowing what to order is important here. Below are some items I got. * Strawberry Pig 3/5 - Cute little piggy. It looks a bit angry which has its own charm. Tasted okay and didn't really wow me. * Coco Pandan 3/5 - Okay treat that tasted a bit fatty. Didn't quite have the coconut flavor. * Yellow Bear (Mango and Lychee jelly) 5/5 - This made me happy after feeling underwhelmed from the other 2 desserts. It's more of a tart dessert which isn't what I like usually, but this one hit the spot. Plus, it's so cuteeee! * Matcha Tiramisu 4/5 - This was a good dessert. Not sure if it's quite a tiramisu. It's more of a layered cake with matcha cream. The cake part was normal, a bit dry, not the ladyfingers dipped in coffee like you'd expected. * Tiramisu 4.5/5 - Mm creamy and delicious tiramisu. * Kumquat Tea 5/5 - Delicious kumquat tea. This place has been on my list for a while due to how pretty it looks so I had to see if it met the hype. Parking: There is a large parking so you don't have to worry about parking being an issue. Customer Service: The lady that was very helpful and explained all the desserts to us. Quality of Food & Drinks: The dessert definitely didn't meet up to the hype. It looks prettier than it tastes. It was very gelatinous and had a lack of flavor. My dad had a latte and it was not good. The coffee tasted burnt. I would recommend you try somewhere else for quality but it you want instagramable photos come here! read more

Was searching Yelp to see what has durian and found this spot. Upon entering, u see glass cases full of the most beautifully decorated desserts. Some of the larger cakes are so pretty I wouldn't want to cut into them. The restaurant itself is cute and decorated in a modern style. There are comfy couches to sit on our booths along the wall. Even the walls were textured with large flower pattern. The service is top notch. The owner took time to explain everything and the different flavors in the desserts. We ordered the durian mousse, ube cheesecake, and yuzu lychee. The durian mousse was my fav. It def tasted like it was made with fresh durian. The ube cheesecake was light and didn't feel heavy. The yuzu lychee popsicle stick was like a mousse. It's also very light and refreshing. Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong. The beauty tea is actually very tasty. It's a mix of dried Asian herbs like Logan, wolfberry, jujube, some other stuff and tea. This is an Asian style dessert place where it's not overly sweet or heavy. Portions are small enough where you can get several to share. Will def be back to try other stuff. read more

Sugar art! One of my favorite forms of art lol The beauty of each cake made it so difficult not to visit. While browsing, I realized that they have durian mousse. It excites me even more lol for sure, I gotta try it. Ordered the durian mousse and strawberry Creamsicle. I really wanted to order more, but I am kinda full. Now, I m not a fan of mousse. However, this place did an amazing job. I enjoyed both. The durian mousse was pretty light in flavor. Normally, I would complain that the durian flavor needs to be stronger and they need to add more durian. However, I was fine with the way it was created. It had the right amount of sweetness to it. Will go well with a good cup of latte. I finished the cakes before the latte came out lol The strawberry pop was also good. I m not a fan of fruity cakes, but it was well executed. I can taste the strawberry. It was not too sweet nor too sour. It all blended very well. I really really want to try the banana one because it looked so pretty. Sadly, the stomach can't fit anymore. 3/2/2023 3 1/2 Stars FIRST IMPRESSION Newly opened dessert café in Stanton. I parked at the side of the café. There was a side door right where I parked, but wanted to take a picture of the front. Surprised to find 4 large empty boxes and a small wooden plank right in front of the café's front doors! It was such an odd sight given the café was already opened and ready to receive customers. So I decided to turn around and walk in through the side door. They did not have a menu posted at the front nor did they offer a menu for me to look at. They just stood there waiting for me to order something when there's no menu. I just decided to order whatever they had in their display case. I asked and they do offer various ice teas and coffee. Cream pops are $3. The mini cakes prices ranged from $6 - $9. The whole cakes prices ranged from $35 - $45. The café had beautiful velvet armchairs, velvet sofas and small tables to place your coffee and ice teas and create Instagram photos. There were also slightly larger tables in the back. The ambiance was there and it was pretty to look at, yet it wasn't a space where various groups can come in and hang out comfortably. It wasn't created to be a hang out spot. Maybe a 2-3 friends can come in and take a quick photo type of spot. UBE CHEESECAKE It tastes like caramel. Can't taste the ube or the cream cheese. The outer consistency is jello-like and jiggly. The inside texture is more of a mousse than a cheesecake. There was also a thin layer of vanilla spongecake. So it was confusing because the name is different from the actual taste, flavor, and consistency. Overall I liked the flavor, but it's not ube nor is it cheesecake. OREO JASMINE MOUSSE It tastes like a fruity and creamy peach. You know those fake peach flavors in drinks. It's not completely a peach flavor, but it has a refreshing, light peach and fruity flavor. No jasmine present at all. There was an oreo cookie in the center. Only the outside chocolate cookie layer. Strangely the fruity and oreo flavor worked well together. This was my second favorite. DURIAN MOUSSE Tastes like durian as expected. Same like the other cakes, it had a jello-like texture and exterior. Inside is spongecake and a small sliver of durian fruit pieces in it. But small enough where you can miss it. MATCHA TIRAMISU Not a tiramisu. Nothing about it is tiramisu. Not sure why it's named that way. However, it does taste like matcha. But not the Japanese matcha strong bitter flavor. It is sweet, light sponge in the center. It's a bit gooey and with the outward jello-consistency, the overall mouthfeel is jello-like and mushy cheesecake-like consistency. This is my least favorite out of the five cakes I've tried. GANACHE DULCE LE LECHE This cake was given as a complimentary / promotional item! This is the best one out of the five cakes I've tried. It delivers in name, taste, and consistency. Chocolatey, fudgy ganache and a bit of chocolate sponge cake. I like that there's a variety in cake selections, but the cakes I've tried so far did not live up to my expectations. For the price, it should have been better. All the mini cakes I've tried except the Ganache Dulce Le Leche, all had similar jello-like textures and had thin layers of sponge cake. I'm not sure what I was eating most of the time. The flavors weren't bad, but I'm confused to what I did eat. For those who want to try, give it a try. At least the cakes look pretty. CUSTOMER SERVICE There were two Asian women working there. I assumed were the owners. However, I did not ask, so I'm not 100% sure. Overall, good customer service and everyone was polite. This is my new favorite dessert place! I've tried many dessert places around OC and by far this has the yummiest desserts and delicious drinks. The atmosphere is quite chill. There are several couches and tables in the sitting area as well as well as your typical 4x4 and larger and tables outside. Service is friendly and attentive. The shop has high ceiling creating an inviting, lively, and happy environment. Will definitely be retuning with friends. Highly recommended! read more

The bear is $9, the pig and the bunny are $8 each. There are different flavors. I had Nutella bear, but I think they also have guava mango cheesecake bear.
